Though the two couldn't eat much, they still ordered a table full of meat dishes and several bottles of beer.

Looking across at Lin Tian, Xu Ning'an seemed somewhat displeased.

She patted the chair beside her and, in a commanding tone, said, "You, sit here. When a girl wants to share her thoughts with you, how can I speak if you sit so far away? There's not even a shoulder to lean on."

Helplessly, Lin Tian chuckled and moved to sit beside her.

"Let's drink first!" she exclaimed boldly.

Then she rolled up her sleeves, opened two bottles of beer, and downed half a bottle in one go.

Drinking too fast, she started coughing violently.

Lin Tian took the bottle from her hand and gently patted her back, "Slow down, no one's competing with you."

The coughing gradually stopped, and her tears silently flowed again.

Then, her head rested on Lin Tian's shoulder. She began to sob, then suddenly wailed loudly.
