From Slave to King: My Rebate System Built Me a Kingdom With Beauties!

Chapter 95: Rodell Meets Maui.

Maui had managed to gain entry into the human territory, but this man knew her name. He shouldn't know her name considering she rarely talked with humans.

She wasn't even a fighter, so there was no reason for her name to be on the lips of this man.

He had treated her with respect so far, an act she appreciated, but what was he after?

She could tell right away by the way everyone greeted him that he held a high position in this kingdom, but how high was the question?

Maui knew if this man held a good position, then there was a chance she might be able to get something out of this meeting.

They were alone in the room. There was no chance for Byung to slip out during the walk.

"How did you know my name?" Maui questioned him.

"The question is why wouldn't I? I know about your companion as well," Rodell revealed, looking right at her chest.

"I have heard things about you, goblin…" Rodell said, placing a bottle with drink in front of Maui.

Maui had no idea how to react to this and knew playing dumb was no use anymore.

Byung knew this too as he came out of her hoodie like a newborn baby.

It would be foolish for Rodell not to know these things, especially after the humans reported forges being built and thanks to Murkfang's loose lips.

He had a rough idea of the goblin responsible for this feat, but also Maui being bound to a goblin.

Rodell also had full control of the illegal route. He knew if he banned it, the humans would simply find another way to do it without his notice, which could prove troublesome.

It was "illegal" on paper, but there was no doubt Rodell knew everything that went on along that path. If Maui was transported in plain sight, it meant she wasn't the one being transported, and the carriage would be unnecessary.

This could only mean what was being transported was in the carriage. It had to be Byung.

This included the orc traveling—an orc that had been on their radar for a while thanks to her link with Kragg.

But he was also aware orcs had been seen with the goblins, and Maui was among them.

If they sent anyone else, there was a high chance he wouldn't have noticed it.

"Hello, human," Byung tried his best to be scary, looking right at Rodell with his best try at a stern face.

He furrowed his brow, but Rodell had no problem with whichever way they wanted to act.

"Please, call me Rodell. I don't like using those terms. Do you have a name?" Rodell questioned.

The way he spoke to Byung was like he would to a simple person. Was Rodell testing the waters?

"I go by the name Byung. Nice to meet you," Byung introduced himself.

Rodell paused for a second. He was used to goblins having silly names, so this was a surprise.

"You speak our language so well," Rodell complimented him.

"Thank you, Rodell, but I have something to ask of you," Byung requested, but Rodell raised a finger to pause him.

"Come on now, business can wait. You must be hungry," Rodell said, and the most beautiful woman Byung had seen walked into the room with a tray of food. But there was a male version of her to feed Maui's eyes.

They both placed the tray in front of their chosen person. They were barely clothed but also clothed enough.

Byung gulped. Those breasts and the way she swayed her hips like she was inviting him in.

Maui's body looked strong and toned, but this one looked extremely feminine and soft.

But that drool was soon aimed at the meal in front of him.

"This smell…!" Byung thought to himself.

He was used to eating some of the worst meals known to taste buds, so this was a nice change of pace.

Byung could see the well-seasoned meat in front of him, but there was a chance it could be poisoned.

But why would he want to poison them after bringing them this far?

Byung noticed Maui didn't look impressed by the man who had served her, despite his chiseled body.

She was surrounded by orcs with perfect bodies morning and night, every single day. Of course a human wouldn't do it for her.

If anything, he found her admiring the lady because her shape was new to her.

In a world where strength was worshiped, seeing someone look so weak was new to her.

"Huh?" Byung thought to himself when he found himself chewing on a piece of meat.

His body moved on its own, but this was simply Byung's hunger beating his little willpower.

The moment his teeth sank into it, the juice and flavor attacked his taste buds right away.

"Fuuuck! It tastes so good!" Byung blurted out before taking another big bite.

Rodell watched with joy, but unlike Byung, Maui was more careful because this man was acting far too generous.

"You aren't eating? Do you have something you would prefer to eat?" Rodell asked Maui.

Maui didn't say a word and simply stared at her meal.

"You know it is rude to refuse the kindness of your host," Rodell said, but his mask slipped when he said these words.

This was a threat, and Maui knew right away she would ruin the entire plan if she acted out of place.

"You're right," Maui gave in before taking a bite of the meal in front of her, and just like Byung, she didn't realize how hungry she was until that meat hit her taste bud.

"There it is!" Rodell was amused by their reaction because even he acted this way the first time he tasted it.

However, Byung knew the main goal remained to get Murkfang and leave this place within the day.

He had a duel to train for, and Byung knew whoever this orc was would destroy him if he fought her head-on.

He hoped he was fast enough because the orcs' speed didn't match their size. They were deceptively fast due to their longer strides.
