Marquis Kayleigh was stopped in her tracks when she heard Ace's words, and her eyes narrowed dangerously, clearly not believing any words Ace just said, yet her rational side won out over her instincts.

The main reason she stopped was that she still believed she had Ace under her control, and he couldn't escape, no matter what tricks he pulled.

"Speak!" She emotionlessly stated that, while on high alert and with Ace in proximity, she was extremely confident in taking him down within a second.

Ace had no intention of resisting; instead, he wanted to give Marquis Kayleigh what she wanted, as he couldn't have them searching for 'E.V.A' and spreading this news to the entire Myriad Hollow.

After all, the House Members had already reached their targets, and if their target suddenly became vigilant, it would add more difficulty to their tasks.
