Building The Strongest Family

Chapter 370: A Traitor's Treasure

The limousine glided to a halt at the foot of the Main Palace, and for Liz's friends, it was like stepping into a dream.

They had been awestruck by the sheer scale of Dominion Sanctum, but now, standing before the majestic central palace of the Osborn family, they were rendered speechless.

The Main Palace loomed above them,a breathtaking masterpiece sculpted from stone and light.

Its marble pillars shimmered in the waning sunlight, while golden reliefs adorned the entrance, showcasing fierce lions standing sentinel over shields and crowns.

The massive double doors at the top of the grand steps sparkled faintly, their surfaces intricately inlaid with patterns that seemed to dance in the light.

Clara's lips moved soundlessly; she was too stunned to speak.

Mina clutched her bag against her chest, her cheeks flushed with excitement and disbelief.

Dylan, who usually filled every silence with chatter, could only whisper in awe, "This… this isn't just a house. It's a fortress."

Leo, known for his cool demeanor, shoved his hands into his pockets and exhaled slowly as if trying to absorb it all.

Hugo remained still for a moment longer than the rest; his sharp eyes darted around as he attempted to convince himself that this spectacle was real.

Liz simply smiled with an air of mischief. "Come on! I want to show you something!"

With that, she bounded up the steps like a kid on Christmas morning, her braids swinging behind her.

After a brief hesitation, her friends followed suit, their shoes echoing against the polished stone stairs.

---

Inside, the corridors of the Main Palace stretched out like an endless labyrinth lined with portraits of Osborn ancestors, each one seemingly watching them as they passed, and luxurious chandeliers that sparkled overhead.

The marble floors reflected their astonished faces while guards stationed at intervals observed silently as Liz led them deeper into this royal domain.

"Liz…" Mina whispered incredulously. "Are you… sure we're allowed to be here?"

Liz laughed softly over her shoulder. "Of course! You're with me." Her unwavering confidence propelled them forward.

Finally stopping before a pair of imposing steel doors, darker and heavier than any they'd encountered so far,Liz gestured toward a scanner on one side.

Neon lines pulsed gently along its edges as she placed her hand against it; moments later, the doors slid open with a smooth hiss.

Eager anticipation hung thick in the air as they leaned forward together.

Most of them expect this to be Liz's bedroom,a cozy setup with maybe some gaming gear but what lay beyond those doors left them utterly frozen.

---

Before them sprawled an expansive gaming hall that could only be described as paradise for gamers.

Rows upon rows of high-tech gaming rigs lined every wall, each outfitted with curved monitors and sleek black and silver towers humming softly with cooling systems.

An entire sections were dedicated to VR pods, massive, sleek capsules with glowing rims, each one crafted for an unparalleled immersive gaming experience.

At the far end, colossal projection screens tower from floor to ceiling, displaying live matches or multiple streams simultaneously, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

Scattered throughout the entire space are custom-designed chairs designed for comfort and endurance.

The walls and floors were lined with neon lighting that bathes everything in soft blue and purple hues, that gave the entire hall the atmosphere of a professional esports arena.

To one side is a cozy lounge area featuring plush couches and soundproof booths perfect for strategy discussions and glass coffee tables stacked with gaming magazines.

Nearby, a well-equipped gym gleams with weights and cardio machines, while a small kitchen stretched nearby, fridges stocked to the brim with every drink and snack imaginable.

Against one wall stands a row of luxury bunk beds adorned with plush sheets and thick blankets.

Just beyond them is an indoor pool shimmering under LED lights, complete with a jacuzzi and seating area, a true paradise for gamers.

This place doesn't just radiate luxury; it pulses with life! Screens flicker proudly with the Osborn crest while VR pods glow softly in anticipation of their next users.

The gentle hum of machinery creates an ambiance akin to the heartbeat of this technological marvel.

Compared to this, every professional esports training center around the world seemed crude underfunded and laughably outdated.

---

Hugo and the others just stood there frozen at the entrance, with disbelief etched on their faces.

Mina's bag slipped off her shoulder and hit the floor with a soft thud as her wide eyes darted across the hall, her mouth forming an astonished "O."

Dylan halted mid-step; disbelief washed over his face as his grin vanished.

Clara leaned forward so quickly her glasses nearly slipped off her nose; she looked pale as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing.

Hugo blinked rapidly as if trying to wake up from a dream while Leo exhaled sharply, muttering incredulously, "You've got to be kidding me."

Just then, Liz burst into the room like a whirlwind.

She tossed her bag onto one of the chairs before plopping down herself and spinning around once in delight. "So? What do you think of my gaming room?"

Silence hung thick in the air.

Slowly but surely, all five friends turned their heads toward her, their expressions blanketed in shock.

Liz smirked confidently as she leaned back in her chair with arms crossed.

Finally breaking free from their stupor, Mina found her voice first: "Liz… this… this is insane! Are you telling us this..this arena,is where you play games?!"

Liz shrugged casually, but the sparkle in her eyes betrayed a sense of pride. "Yes and no. When I play online at night with you guys, that's in my bedroom. But during the day… this is where I play."

Their disbelief only deepened as they took in their surroundings.

Suddenly, the hall erupted into a symphony of excitement.

Mina sprinted toward the snack area, flinging open the fridge and gasping as she pulled out handfuls of candy and drinks.

"There's everything in here! Chips, sodas, even ice cream...Liz, you've been hiding pure heaven from us!"

Dylan dashed to the VR pods, pressing his hands against their glowing surfaces like a kid on Christmas morning.

"You've got to be kidding me! These things cost more than houses! And you have twelve lined up here!"

Clara stepped gingerly across the hall, her eyes wide as she took in the bunk beds and shimmering pool beyond.

"Wait… there's a pool? And a jacuzzi? In a gaming room?!"

Hugo sank into one of the custom chairs with an audible sigh of contentment. "This is way more comfortable than my bed at home."

Leo with his hands in his pockets, scanning the room with an analytical gaze that couldn't hide his awe.

"Liz… this place is more advanced than any esports facility I've ever seen."

Liz just grinned wider, spinning in her chair like she was on top of the world. "That's because my big brother built it for me! He wanted me to have the ultimate gaming space."

The others turned to her with envy etched on their faces.

"Your brother is insane," Dylan muttered.

"Insanely cool," Mina corrected through a mouthful of snacks.

Clara adjusted her glasses again, still trying to process everything. "We've known you for years, Liz. Not once did you mention your family… well… being like this."

The group nodded eagerly; curiosity danced in their eyes.

Mina leaned closer with a mischievous glint. "So… Liz! What exactly does your family do?"

All eyes were glued to her now.

Liz tilted her head innocently and smiled sweetly. "Well… you know League of Legends?"

They nodded enthusiastically, wide-eyed.

"That game is made by Aurora Studio," Liz explained proudly. "And Aurora Studio is part of Osborn Media and Entertainment Group."

Clara's jaw dropped so dramatically that her glasses nearly slipped off again.

"Wait...Osborn Media and Entertainment Group!? The number one entertainment company in Varenya? The one that basically runs the entire northern Noctis entertainment industry?"

Liz nodded happily as if it were no big deal. "Yup! That's us!"

The room exploded once more with excitement.

"Badass," Leo muttered incredulously while shaking his head.

"Badass?" Dylan erupted into laughter, his voice echoing with excitement. "That's legendary!"

Mina, cheeks stuffed with chips like a squirrel hoarding nuts, pointed an accusatory finger at Liz. "You kept all this from us! You traitor!"

Liz just chuckled, playfully tossing a pillow in her direction.

The atmosphere shifted as the others quickly joined in, their initial envy melting away into a chorus of laughter and lighthearted banter about their own siblings, who now seemed utterly useless compared to Liz's "best brother in the world."
