The last method is to be chosen by the Universal System to become a Progenitor.

To be chosen by the Universal System on the very first day the Progenitor candidate spots were open, meant that the person's actions and also talent was more than enough for one to become the Progenitor of New Earth.

Corey, Pamela, the Clown, and the last person with the Omnipotent talent were all automatically given a progenitor candidate spot by the Universal System.

They didn't even have to stress themselves for it. All they had to was to accept their spots from the Universal System.

Jeremy was also automatically chosen by the Universal System, and it was a given since he was the Hero of New Earth.

To be the Hero of New Earth and then to be its progenitor, those two titles were not little in the slightest.

Although, the Progenitor title was far greater than the Hero of New Earth.

Jeremy's companions... Elizabeth, Mathias, and Rorik were also automatically given progenitor candidate spots because of their achievements and their talents.

Rosa was also given a candidate spot, and Kiefer would have been given if not for his low Tier.

Kiefer even got a quest from the Universal System that it was watching and that if he was able to advance to Tier 4 before the Progenitor War with the foundation he current had, a Progenitor candidate spot would be given to him.

In fact, the minimum Tier that was required to qualify for a candidate spot was Tier 4, unless the person was an exception like Corey.

The benefits of being a progenitor were many, and everybody that was given a candidate spot took it.

All except Corey.

Corey did not accept his progenitor candidate spot because his instincts told him that accepting it would bind him tighter to the universal system, and becoming a Progenitor of New Earth through the Universal System would bind him even more tightly to the universal system.

And what Corey wanted to do was to separate himself from the Universal System and take his own path.

The path that was not restricted and limited by the Supreme Ancestor.

So, he didn't accept the offer of the universal system, but he couldn't also reject it.

The translucent screen showing the offer of the universal system remained in front of Corey at all times. Corey could not even dismiss it, and it was like the Universal System wanted him to accept the progenitor candidate spot by all means.

At first, it was annoying to Corey at first when the translucent screen always remained in front of his eyes, but he quickly learned how to ignore it even though it was a nuisance.

And what nobody knew was that Corey's spot would always remain open until the last minute where the Universal System would be forced to give his spot to another person.

Because of Corey, there was actually ninety nine candidate spots that people were fighting for, and they didn't know that one was only open to Corey.

As for Anna?

She was also given a candidate spot, and Corey advised her to reject it.

He did this for one reason, and that was so that she would not be completely tied to the universal system, and as a result of that... the Supreme Ancestor would have more control over her.

Corey was not certain if he was overthinking it, but since he was a Paragon and not on the side of the Supremes, the Supreme Ancestor might choose to act against him using Anna.

In these two years, Corey eventually told Anna about Supremes and Paragons, and also about the things he knew and suspected of the Universal System and the universe as a whole.

It was a huge shock to Anna, but her world view was larger.

Aside from the incoming Progenitor War, there was another event that nearly everybody on New Earth knew.

And an event that many could not even understand how it was possible.

On New Earth, there were regions that were so dangerous for even a Tier 6 to come out alive from.

And some of these regions were twelve regions where the eyes of the All Father released beams of light unto.

These regions contained fragments of Infinity Crystals, and they changed the entire region based on what Infinity Crystal was in the region.

In these two years, many people came to realize that some of these extremely dangerous but beneficial elemental zones were shrinking and disintegrating at a rather fast pace.

And it was shocking because people noticed that these zones expanded slightly at completely random times.

People later realized that there was a culprit behind the shrinking of the zones, and they also realized that the culprit had somehow taken the core of the zones.

Some Outsider organizations knew and guessed that the core of these zones were fragments of Infinity Crystals, and some chose to take control of the regions around a zone so that nobody can gain the benefits of the elemental danger zones.

Some of the reasons why some chose to leave the Infinity Crystal fragments is because the zone itself was more beneficial to their organization as a whole.

And it's also because some could not take the Infinity Crystal fragments themselves.

But somebody had somehow sneaked past the defenses of numerous organizations and the person was able to take so many Infinity Crystal fragments?

It was news that shook the world and even organizations outside of New Earth.

The thief was later known as Ghost because he or she was so fleeting that none had ever seen his or her face and body.

And there were some that even believed that Ghost was real since none had ever seen him, but the seers said otherwise.

They couldn't determine the person's gender or identity because a terrible backlash that led to the death of the first seer that tried to get information about Ghost.

The death of the first seer made everybody and other seers to realize that they could use their powers to obtain information about the thief.

But they were able to know that the disappearance of the Infinity Crystal fragments was due to one person.

And this person was currently sitting cross-legged at the top of a secluded mountain with his eyes closed.
