Su Ping saw several system notifications emerge before his eyes. Thanks to his incredible sight he was able to pick up on the demons in the distance, ahead of time.

' Looks like we've lost our element of surprise.' Su Ping said when he noticed the formation the demons were in, as well as their numbers.

Every single one of them looked like they were placed in specific locations that formed a defensive line, while hiding within the marsh as if secretly waiting to ambush their party.

If not because his instincts had sensed something amiss, they might've been in a difficult situation right off the path.

Su Ping called Yu Wang and Fei Wang over before whispering what he had discovered to them. The two relayed the information to the demons rulers.

" Since they're already aware of our presence, I say we initiate a full on charge to breach their defenses." Suggested the frog demon ruler.

" Indeed, the most important thing is getting rid of their leader."

" I support that decision, an army without a leader is nothing but dust."

The rat and monkey demon rulers showed their support towards his idea, the sooner they got through them and reached the swamp demon, the sooner they could get rid of it.

Su Ping was unable to understand them, Qingwa Yi noticed and translated for Su Ping.

" An aggressive charge? Are you three insane? We don't even know what lies behind this defensive line yet you three want to initiate an instant assualt, what if they're traps lay'd deeper ahead." Su Ping disapproved with their idea.

" Hmph! What a cowardly demon. Weren't you the one who mouthed off earlier about being able to take on the enemy on your own?" said the Frog demon ruler.

" Tsk! I knew he was just all talk." added the monkey demon ruler.

" I don't see why we should even bother with his opinion. Let's all charge now!" Urged the rat demon ruler.

Qingwa Yi saw Su Ping's growing cold expression and knew that he didn't need to translate this time. With his own eyes, His Master could more or less guess what they were saying.

" What about you... Are you also in favour of a presumptive attack?" Su Ping suddenly turned towards the cougar demoness, seeking her opinion. Out of all the demons rulers, she was the only one he didn't find irksome and the only one he was actually willing to listen to.

Everyone's gaze fell upon the demoness, waiting for her opinion. Facing all their gazes, she turned silent, her expression contemplative as if properly thinking it over.

The 3 ruler's turned anxious seeing her remain silent for so long, they suddenly began saying a few things in demon tongue. Su Ping frowned when he saw her expression turning more and more conflicted the more they spoke.

" Qingwa Yi what are they saying." Su Ping whispered to his helper.

" Forgive me master but I can't really tell, they seem to be using vague word's. Though I can tell that it must be related to an increase in something I can only guess is power or resources." Qingwa Yi whispered back with a forced smile.

Su Ping frowned hearing this, The demoness suddenly nodded her head towards him after a while, causing his expression to crease subtly.

" Fine then... We'll do it your way." Su Ping said before walking away, his fondness while staring at the demoness, dimming considerably.

The 3 ruler's revealed glee filled expressions seeing Su Ping's reaction while the demonesses expression was calm as they all continued on.

" Everyone, Stop, I'll clear up a path." Su Ping suddenly said when they were tens of meters from the defensive line. The enemy demons had already begun releasing warning sounds the moment they noticed their presence.

A purple black glow began emanating from Su Pings maw all of a sudden, stunning the demons. Though strange, they all felt an instinctual sense of danger as the glow grew more and more brighter.

BOOM!!!!

Su Ping who was mimicking the poison blast skill, suddenly released a breath attack that surged forth, it instantly corroded the trees in it's path in an instant, the moment it came in contact with the swampy water, the mud was forced to part before the poison blast struck several enemy demons, not giving them the time to react! The demons couldn't even blink before they were corroded to nothing.

" It's open! Now charge!" Su Pings loud voice, snapped the demons out of their stupor. They were dumbfounded by the sheer power of his attack but realized they didn't have time to loose.

The demons all let out primal roars as they charged into the marsh, taking advantage of the path Su Ping had created to infiltrate behind enemy lines and begin an all out assualt.

The enemy demons snapped out of their trance and began attacking but, the frog, rat, monkey and cougar demons seemed to have the upper hand. Su Ping watched as the demon rulers didn't hesitate to join in the Frey, causing blood and corpses to rise rapidly as the battle ensued.

"..."

Su Ping didn't participate but simply watched from the side. He watched as the enemy demons were being pushed towards the defensive while his allies grew more and more brazen with their attacks, as if already drunk on moral. Fei Wang and Yu Wang remained at Su Pings sides, not willing to leave their master unattended to.

" Something's not right... were obviously winning but why do I still feel unsettled about this whole situation." The same instinctual feeling still persisted till now, leaving Su Ping worried.

" Master, is something the matter?" Yu Wang noticed his look of unease, and asked.

" No... It's nothing." Su Ping let out a breath, shrugging it off.

' It's probably because I'm still wary of them.' Su Pings gaze glanced over the frog, monkey and rat demon troupes. After all, they were all technically his future opponents and not subordinates of his.

Meanwhile, Yi Heng, Zhen Bi and Ning An, continued to lead the army southward.
