" W-wait..." Su Ping wrapped his arms around her waist just as she was about to open the doors.

" Master?" Zhen Qi stiffened, her head slowly turning back to meet his gaze.

"...?!" Su Ping's body shivered, when he suddenly felt her arms wrap around his neck, pulling his head lower as her lips and tongue intertwined with his in a breathtaking kiss.

" Master..." Zhen Qi stared at Su Ping in surprise when he suddenly pushed her off him, his apologetic face, filled with reluctance.

" I already promised Ming Yao that she'd be third..." Su Ping managed to force through his teeth. Yet for some reason, he found it hard to look her in the face while saying it.

" I see..."

Su Ping felt a pang of guilt in his chest seeing her sudden downcast expression.

" In that case, I better get going then." A smile one could only brand as saddened and filled with hints of anguish, bloomed on Zhen Qi's face, she didn't give him time to react before she opened the doors and walked out, slamming them shut behind her.
