" Please sir, I don't want to die..." Tears streamed down the woman's face.
Su Ping turned silent before stroking his chin as if contemplating something.
" What's your name?" He finally asked after much thought.
" It's Vivian sir." Vivian sniffled while replying.
" Vivian... If I were to leave this bar to you, do you think you could manage it for me." Su Ping said. " Of course you can recruit more helpers but I will need to see some results.in a months time. But first why don't you start with cleaning this place before day break."
" O-Of course Sir." Vivian stuttered in surprise, she felt a surreal feeling overcome her as if she wasn't expecting him to give her such a simple task in exchange of her life.
[Would you like to induct Lvl 1 unit into your faction?]
[Y/N]
' Yes' Su Ping agreed but, not before warping Vivian's mind. He knew she would definitely think twice before ever betraying him, but it was best to be safe rather than sorry.
Su Ping then undid Vivian's restraints. Vivian rubbed her aching wrists with moistened eyes, feeling grateful for her master compassion. " Don't worry master, I promise I'll whip this inn into shape before before your next visit." Vivian clenched her fist, her voice filled with determination.
Su Ping merely nodded before heading back downstairs. He took the other two wandering wraiths with him as well as the bearded man, just incase a mishap occured with the runaway thug.
Also, he still needed to learn more from the beared man, especially where he got that spell book, that was Su Ping's second priority at the moment.
If he could get more volumes of this spell book, then he could further his studies in necromancy, there by increasing his strength.
' Come to think of it, Taking over this city... No, taking over this city and lvling up to Lvl 3 might just be achievable through necromancy.' Su Pings lips curled into an ominous smile.
Su Ping told the beared man to find a secluded location to wait through the night. He added that the beared man should come and meet him tomorrow afternoon at this very bar. The bearded man nodded before leaving.
With that being settled, Su Ping leaped onto a building before running after the escaping thugs from the rooftops, with the two wandering wraiths following after him.
Since it was his summoned undead, Su Ping could sense which direction the wandering wraith was in. Because he was able to change directions easily by leaping from one roof to another, it was far more easier for them to catch up with the lone wandering wraith.
Su Ping soon stopped running, perching on top of the chimney of a house.
His crimson eyes stared at an abandoned warehouse on the other side of the street, the building surrounded by a wall and metal gate that was locked with rusty chains, which showed that the warehouse must've been abandoned for a pretty long time but Su Ping obviously wasn't stupid enough to believe that.
Su Pings eyes traced the wooden wall before landing an inconspicuous board in the wall that looked slightly more worn out than the rest. If not for his sharp gaze, he would've missed it.
' That's a pretty convenient secret passage hahahaha but I really don't see the point in using that. Going in again like I did at the bar would just make me waste more of my time.' Su Ping chuckled, his voice low and mischievous.
The several tens of people within the large warehouse stared at an exhausted looking man who suddenly rushed in before dropping on his face. Unlike what one would think, the warehouse was actually filled with all sorts of living equipment such as different types of furniture.
" Who the heck is this one supposed to be?" Said one of the thugs in the warehouse.
They all had different expressions as they gazed at the man who looked completely spent.
" Please, you have to hide me..." The man spouted while gasping for air. " He's after me... He's after me... Our camp.. our camp has been."
" Is someone else seeing this dumb nitwit, the heck is he trying to say?" said a random man with a look of contempt but he instantly kept his mouth shut when he saw a menacing looking man walking over.
" Someone go get this man a water." Said the menacing looking man, his face although fierce had a hint of curiosity in his gaze as to what the man meant, especially the part about their camp. He believed that any information about a neighboring camp wasn't to be taken likely since it might actually be something that would eventually affect all of them in the southern region as a whole if not treated properly.
As the breathless man was chugging down the water they had given him, Su Ping wasn't standing idly by as well.
' Since I'd rather not waste my time here, how about we speed things up a notch.' Su Ping said before pushing of with his leg, his body leaped over the street, past the wooden wall and over the warehouse in a single bound.
[Dark Sphere]
A huge dark sphere, larger than any Su Ping had used so far since his arrival in Rose City, encased the entirety ware house in an instant, even the walls and the air above it were not spared, all plunged into a world of Darkness.
" What in heavens name just happened?!" The head of one of the thugs turned rapidly from side to side.
" Why'd it get darker?!" said another who quickly grabbed a lamp near him and lit it but when he gazed out of one of the windows at the top area of the warehouse, his face paled in fright.
" T-The moon?! It's gone!" said the light holding man in panic.
" The fxck are you going on about, how can the moon be gone?!" Scolded a gruff looking man who walked up to him and into the range of the lamps light.
" Fxck! It really is gone." The gruff man turned speechless when he noticed the same.
" I-It's over, He found me! we're all going to die! we're all going to die." The man who had just regained some composure after drinking some water, suddenly turned anxious once more.
" The heck is this wanker going on about, are you saying that same man is behind this." Said the menacing man who was emanating a Lvl 2 elite tier aura.
" Boss Fredrick, it seems this bastard lead them right to us." The menacing man kicked the frightened man away before turning towards a man lounging on a large couch. The man's body looked fat and chubby, like a humanoid pigs and in his hands were two young girls.
The man would've been mistaken for a bag of lard if not for the faint wisps of aura he released, Non of the others dared to look him the wrong way because the Lvl 3 aura he faintly emitted served as a constant warning to them all.
" What do you reckon we do." Asked the menacing looking man.
Due to it being night out, the all encompassing darkness was easily noticed by the countless thugs hidden dead within the ware house.
The Dark Sphere rippled faintly as Su Ping landed atop it. The rippling spread as Su Ping's body sank through the dark sphere like a stone through water. At the same time, he casted an illusion around the dark sphere making it vanish.
To those outside, the warehouse still looked as old and desolate as it always had but to those inside, it was a world of perpetual darkness.
The instant he sank through the dark sphere, he didn't fall but stood atop the scythes of 3 wandering wraiths, with his command, they all used the flat end of their weapons as a platform for him to stand on.
The current Su Ping in his dark clothes, looked like a death deity, looking down on the warehouse with hints of anticipation in his gaze. At the same time, he watched as several figures made their way out of the warehouse with lanterns and torches in hand. Their numbers were actually far larger than one might think, easily reaching about 200 strong.
Most of them had fearful faces as they stared at the being before them, who's Lvl of strength they couldn't grasp, while some showed gazes brimming with determination and reluctance. As for the figure in the center of them all, his expression was surprised for a moment before turning disdainful and conceited.
' Oh?' Su Ping's gaze turned intrigued, lingering on the fat Lvl 3 figure down below.
Su Ping had always wished to test out the full limits of his abilities again ever since his fight with the Lvl 3 Wolf King. Now that he had isolated the area, it gave him a perfect opportunity to do just that.
