"Alright, settle in and go see Seris," Orion muttered with a smile.

Orion walked into the ward robe and unpacked after he which he had his bath and dressed in something less formal and more comfortable.

He checked his room and made sure everything was in order, before walking out, about an hour had passed since he got to the dorm and it was about two hours past noon already.

He had a lot of free time, and was wondering what to do with it, practicing and absorbing mana was currently not on his list.

'I can try using ETF randomly but there aren't many people around. Seris might have something in mind.' Orion thought while walking to the main hall.

[You can try thinking of your next goals]

'Next goals? I doubt that's going to keep me busy, besides I'm not even sure of what to work towards right now' Orion said internally.

"Excuse me," Orion called out to a maid.

"Yes, how can I help you." She replied, bowing subtly.

"My name is Orion, may I know yours?" Orion asked with a smile.

The maid was visibly surprised.

"Um, Nadia. My name is Nadia." She replied, wondering what the boy was up to.

"Alright Nadia, it's nice to meet you, considering there's a chance I might be staying in this dorm for the next year, I hope to be acquainted with every of its residents. Now that I know your name I won't forget it." Orion said with the smile still on his face.

The woman looked at him skeptically, students usually do not socialize with the maids, some because of their pride but mainly due to the competitive nature of the Chronos academy.

To remain in magnum 1 for the rest of the year would mean you continue performing at the top consistently for a whole year, the Chronos never lacked talented individuals and so far very few have managed to perform such a fit.

Looking at the boy who claimed he might do it, she wanted to shake her head but of course she wouldn't, her post wouldn't allow it, for him to be in the mansion before the trial meant he had some serious connections and who was she to fight that.

"Of course." She said with a smile of her own.

"I'd like to get to the park, I was told it should be free now, do you mind assisting me." Orion asked, looking out the window.

"Of course, please follow me." She said, before leading him away.

They walked out of the castle, and she led him through the garden to another are.

Numerous pillars were lined up, and they all had different locations written on them, but what they had in common was the sigils found on each of them.

Nadia pointed to one of them,

"This one will lead you to the park." She said.

"As for the others, a senior will performing magnum 1 orientation after the trial." She said.

"Do you have any other request?" She asked.

"Non, thank you very much." Orion said with a smile.

"Well then, if you'll excuse me" She curtsied before leaving.

"I wish you goodluck in your endeavour" She said while walking away.

Orion just chuckled.

He'd be dumb if he didn't understand her reservations when he mentioned staying in magnum 1 for a whole year.

'Well system, looks like we've found goal 1' He said.

[That isn't a goal, it should be inevitable]

'Yeah but it's the best I've got, atleast for now.' He said, while placing his hand on the sigil.

The same feeling encompassed him, he'd gotten used to it by now, the next second he opened his eyes, he was met with a scenery that was quite nostalgic.

The park was very similar to the garden he found in the Ivory estate.

'I wonder how she's doing now' Orion thought, his face taking on a solemn expression.

"You're the first person I've seen who frowns when looking at flowers" Orion heard a familiar voice.

He turned and found Seris sitting on a bench, she'd also changed her clothes.

"Which is very weird, considering the feelings flowers usually evoke." Seris said.

"Usually doesn't really apply to me," Orion said with a smiled walking towards her and sitting beside her.

"If you say so." Seris shrugged.

"So, what do you think." She asked.

"About the academy?" He asked.

"Yes," She replied.

"I was wondering what you think the trial is going to be about," Seris said.

"Well, it's pointless bothering our heads, like Alira said, we can relate with the seniors tomorrow and find out what the past tests have been, maybe there's a pattern which there most likely is, it can't be purely random, one or two things must be constant." Orion said.

"If so, what's the point of keeping it confidential?" Seris asked with a raised brow.

"Maybe relating with the seniors was pat of our test," Orion shrugged.

"They'd have to be really unsocial for it to be of any difficulty," Seris scoffed.

"Or we have to be, I'm sure some would find it hard to pass if it were so." Orion stated.

"Of course all these are conjenctures, the only way we can be sure is wait until tomorrow." He said.

"Right, so what do we do now." Seris said, standing up with an excited smile.

"I have absolutely no idea." Orion shrugged.

"Well I do!" She said, her eyes glowing.

"Tell me everything!" She said.

"Every what." Orion asked, wondering how her mood just took a 180 turn.

"Everything about you, your hobbies, your likes, dislikes, favorite food, especially favourite food. And don't you dare tell me you don't have a favorite food, that answer is for the lame." Seris said, without stopping.

"Um, Seris, are you okay." Orion asked concerned.

"Of course I'm perfectly fine, why would you ask that. Am I being to pushy," She said, her voice going mellow.

[Your girlfriend is rather unique, you got your work cut out for you.]

'Shut it system.'
