The World Conquest: Giving Birth To Become A God

Chapter 895: Chaos Destroyer VS Maximus (3)

Maximus hadn't wasted a single moment in these hundreds of millions of years.

In addition to strengthening himself, he had been laying a trap and a lifeline for himself.

Expecting the Chaos Destroyer would never be a simple foe; he had even prepared to die multiple times.

Seeing the Chaos Destroyer severely weakened from its own attack, Maximus couldn't help but smile.

"Now, let's see if you can withstand my attack…"

Mobilizing the power of the Myriad of Laws and the Power of Will, he struck the Chaos Destroyer.

Unable to generate an attack or defense, the Chaos Destroyer was directly hit.

Bam~

Sent flying by the force of the blow, a wave of injury blossomed within its body.

"This—I'm wounded?!"

In disbelief, the Chaos Destroyer stared at its injury in a daze.

Never in its entire existence did it think it would be injured by a lower being!

"Don't worry, you'll get used to it before you die."

Not giving it time to react, Maximus continued to attack.

One strike after another, never pausing for a moment, his blows continued to rain down on the Chaos Destroyer.

With barely any defensive measures in its body, Maximus thought it was only a matter of time before he could kill the Chaos Destroyer.

But as thousands, millions, billions, and trillions of attacks struck it, it was Maximus' turn to be dumbfounded.

"No, how could it be this tough? Is it immortal?"

His energy was running low, yet, aside from a few minor injuries, the Chaos Destroyer seemed largely unaffected.

"Hmph! Ignorant creature! I am a Chaos Being, born and protected by the Chaos. No one in this world is born to kill me!" the Chaos Destroyer said arrogantly, coming to its senses.

Although severely weakened, even if Maximus had a million years, he still wouldn't be able to kill it.

"This is really troublesome…" Maximus sighed, realizing the problem.

It seemed he had been too hasty. No matter how weak the Chaos Destroyer became, it was still a tier 14 Chaos Being.

Unless he mastered the Myriad of Laws or the Power of Will to perfection, his current strength was not enough to kill the Chaos Destroyer.

"No matter, I can take my time with you." Maximus smiled, looking at his Primordial Plane Source Physique.

After reaching the true Plane Level, the Plane Source Physique had undergone a massive transformation.

What was once merely the conversion of chaos to plane origin, origin energy, strands of causality, and those low-tier energies, now it had no limits.

Whether turning dark energy into chaos, plane origin into the power of will, or even converting it into myriad energy, the Plane Source Physique didn't look at hierarchy, only quantity.

As long as he had enough of another energy type, he could convert it to whatever he desired.

Looking at the Chaos Destroyer, Maximus saw nothing but the source of infinite treasure.

Once he extracted its Myriad Essence, could he mass-produce Chaos Beings as he pleased?

Not letting fatigue or time affect him, he continued his assault on the Chaos Destroyer.

At this point, the Chaos Destroyer knew it was no match for Maximus.

In addition to its weakened state, its mastery of the Myriad of Destruction was lacking.

Having once thought itself one of the strongest, the Chaos Destroyer hadn't bothered to train or comprehend anything further.

It seemed the taunts from other Chaos Beings had been true.

If it didn't improve, it would sooner or later meet its downfall.

"No, I still have a chance…"

Fearing for its life, the Chaos Destroyer tried to bolt and escape.

However, as it reached the edge of the battlefield, it found itself trapped in a vortex of arrays.

"What did you do?!"

"Haha, are you trying to escape? As I told you before, it's already too late."

No matter what the Chaos Destroyer did, it was destined to die here.

Putting his life on the line, Maximus was determined to kill this beast, no matter how long it took.

"You—how dare you trap a Chaos Being!"

"Enough of that. Now obediently die by my hands…" Maximus said with an ultimatum.

Converting the nearby chaos into Myriad Energy and Power of Will, Maximus continued his relentless onslaught.

Although his attacks barely damaged the Chaos Destroyer, they were enough to eventually kill it.

Realizing it could not escape, the Chaos Destroyer quickly accepted its predicament.

Instead of panicking, it focused on finding a way to survive or even defeat its opponent.

Watching Maximus' attacks and movements, it slowly began to delve deeper into the Myriad of Destruction.

As an innate Chaos Being, the Chaos Destroyer's talent was undeniable.

Though it had just begun, it rapidly started to catch up with Maximus' mastery.

---

As time passed, from millions, tens of millions, to hundreds of millions of years, Maximus finally noticed its growing strength.

"A Chaos Being is truly a cheater!"

In no time, Maximus estimated the Chaos Destroyer would surpass him in mastery of the Myriad of Laws.

If he didn't intensify his efforts, he would be the one to die.

Unfortunately, he was just a regular creature of chaos; no matter how talented he was, it was nothing compared to a natural-born Chaos Being.

"Hmph! If I can't defeat it with the power of chaos, I'll use the power of us beings!"

Shifting away his focus from comprehending the Myriad of Laws, Maximus concentrated on the Power of Will.

Since he couldn't match the Chaos Destroyer's mastery of the Myriad of Laws, he would rely on his asymmetric advantage: the Power of Will!

No less potent than chaos itself, it was his only means of dealing with a Chaos Being.

"Using the Power of Will, the power that lies within us… Soon, I will defeat you!" Maximus vowed, continuing his assault.

"Haha, don't kid yourself! No matter what you do, you can't catch up to the talent of this Chaos Being!" the Chaos Destroyer laughed, sensing it was nearing victory.

"Then let's see whether the power of chaos or the power of will prevails…"
