Chapter 114: [Unstable Hyperspace Navigation Teleportation Engine] and Dusk's Probe?

Two days passed in a flash.

After delivering Gamma Z into the Star Realm of Dusk, Chen Ming studied steadily for two days.

By today, he had finished reading all the technical books provided after the last audit by Dusk.

Moreover, the Speed Particle Technology books given by old Wu were almost completely read.

He finished all the basic books and resolved 80% of the introductory ones, with the remaining 20% of scattered books soon to be caught up on.

Old Wu didn't have more advanced technical books on hand.

Thus, Chen Ming's only source of new knowledge was here at Dusk.

So Chen Ming pondered for a moment and decided to proceed with the second audit early, proactively contacting Brilliant.

Brilliant had shown no unfriendly attitude towards Chen Ming over these past two days, maintaining the previous demeanor.

Soon, Brilliant was connected to Chen Ming's communication device.

And this time, just like before, Brilliant asked Chen Ming as usual, "Mr. Chen, what do you need?"

Chen Ming didn't waste words and directly said, "I want to proceed with the second audit early."

"Okay, please wait a moment."

Brilliant agreed decisively, leaving Chen Ming uncertain if this was good or bad.

Because Dusk's current attitude left him perplexed.

He could clearly feel that the workload required of him recently was increasing, visibly growing.

The workload of a day even doubled compared to the previous day.

Furthermore, Chen Ming's work relied on Spiritual Energy, meaning that if the workload continued to increase, he might become exhausted after just ten minutes of work.

This clearly seemed like an attempt to limit Chen Ming.

But Brilliant's conduct in every aspect appeared normal and very friendly, to the extent that it felt almost abnormal to Chen Ming.

While working, Brilliant would occasionally help Chen Ming by operating factory equipment for tasks that didn't require Spiritual Energy but manual control instead.

It would assign priority to Chen Ming's daily tasks in advance and even inform him of the next day's tasks beforehand to allow early preparation.

These arrangements in detail indeed made Chen Ming's life a bit easier.

Yet it inexplicably made him feel uneasy.

Though Brilliant's kindness felt suspicious, Chen Ming opted not to reject it outright.

He chose to accept it, intending to observe what exactly Brilliant meant later on.

Quickly, Brilliant sent all the files for the written test and practical needs to the factory control room.

Upon opening the files, Chen Ming realized this second audit posed no difficulty for him either.

If he wanted, he could have conducted the second audit as early as the night after the first one, though he previously needed to think it through before writing. Now he could do it with his eyes closed.

An hour passed in no time.

Brilliant confirmed that Chen Ming passed the second audit with an excellent rating.

Following this audit, it similarly granted Chen Ming some new things.

Firstly, the main thing was some professional books based on the most basic Dawn-class unmanned Frigate from the Dusk Fleet.

These books detailed the dismantling and step-by-step explanation of different components and equipment of the Dawn-class.

Once all were studied, Chen Ming could grasp the manufacturing method of this Dawn-class.

Besides the Dawn-class, there would be one or two more books extending from the book's research perspective.

The content still mainly expanded on energy weapons, radiant energy systems, and shields.

There were also some other books helping Chen Ming comprehend the Dusk Battleship design concepts.

Or a few independent, comparatively special technical books.

For example, Chen Ming noticed a book elucidating the technologies and differences between Teleportation Engine, Superspace Navigation Engine, and Flashing Engine.

And an accompanying experimental technology document about the possible experiments on superspace teleportation extended from the teleportation engine.

Chen Ming casually glanced through.

Relying on his accumulated professional technical experience, with almost ten hours every day for learning, despite the growing workload during this period.

He found that this technology seemed executable in his hands and might yield some remarkable effects with a little research.

Dusk seemed to have handed over some very valuable technologies to him this time.

Whether they were utterly unconcerned about Chen Ming causing trouble further, or they had other intentions.

Or was it just like the prior antimatter shock wave, a direction of research abandoned by Dusk?

No matter what, Chen Ming definitely needed to organize everything thoroughly.

This was something he couldn't reject.

Moreover, in the documents, Chen Ming suddenly discovered two books unrelated to the rest.

But he had no recollection of these two books when he just received the files.

Strange? When did he receive them?

With curiosity, Chen Ming examined the general content of the books.

One was a research report on Dusk's inefficacy in interacting with Spiritual Stone and Spiritual Energy, while the other discussed Dusk's prosperous development in biotechnology.

It mentioned how Dusk would employ various methods, like specialized farms or cloning technologies, to cultivate valuable life discovered on different life-bearing planets.

Among them was coincidentally the Energy Crystal Crab.

Seeing this, Chen Ming couldn't help but furrow his brows.
