Peerless Immortal Emperor in City

Chapter 49: Immortal Characters!

BOOM!

When Qin Heng struck with his palm, the air burst apart!

The immense force crushed down, causing the air waves to surge wildly, sweeping over like a fierce wind and instantly toppling the dozen or so people to the ground.

The impact of the air waves was tremendous. After these people hit the ground, they felt as if they had been in a car accident, flung into the air and suffering severe pain throughout their bodies, as if all their bones were about to break.

"Leave immediately. Your resignation procedures are almost processed," Qin Heng looked down at the people on the ground and said indifferently. "Or would you prefer that I personally 'send' you off?"

With that, Qin Heng walked over. He casually grabbed one person by the collar with one hand and effortlessly hoisted him into the air. Then, he tossed him over thirty meters away. After arcing through the air, the person crashed onto the ground outside the fighting hall.

BANG!

CRACK!

The sounds of collision with the ground and bones breaking echoed. The person skidded another four or five meters, hitting a wall before passing out from the pain!

Qin Heng's expression remained detached as he glanced at them and coolly said, "If you're willing, I don't mind throwing the rest of you out as well!"

"No! Please, no! President Qin, I'm sorry! I truly am!"

These people immediately started shaking all over. They didn't dare open their eyes to look at Qin Heng, thoroughly petrified. They all knelt on the ground, kowtowing and begging for mercy, knocking their heads until their scalps bled and their faces were smeared with blood, crying out, "You're right, we're trash, we're useless! We definitely can't stay here anymore! We'll leave right now, we're leaving at once, we're leaving!"

They hadn't expected Qin Heng to be so decisive, nor had they imagined he would be so ruthless—casually throwing someone over thirty meters and breaking their bones! Such strength! It was simply inhuman! To resist further was plainly seeking death. Money is certainly important, but life is even more so!

"Leave!" Qin Heng said indifferently.

These people were frightened to their core and scampered off frantically.

After they had left, Qin Heng's gaze turned to the remaining three Open Force Martial Artists in the training hall. None of them were very old; the youngest looked only eighteen or nineteen, about the same age as Qin Heng. Even the oldest was probably just over twenty.

These three had originally been full of pride and arrogance in the Yue Feng Clubhouse, bowing to no one but Bai Zhen. But now that they had witnessed Qin Heng's formidable prowess, not a trace of their rebellious spirit remained. He's too strong. Qin Heng is simply too strong! So powerful it's beyond reason!

"We greet Mr. Xuantian," the three of them said to Qin Heng with utmost respect, not daring the slightest bit of negligence.

Most Martial Artists revere the strong. Only those who have practiced martial arts can truly understand how incredible it is to possess strength like Qin Heng's. His martial skills surpassed the heavens! With limitless strength, it was as if he were an Immortal! In the eyes of these three, Qin Heng could now be described in one sentence: his martial practice had turned him into an Immortal! Such a Realm... we can't even begin to imagine it!

"Among ordinary people, you do have some talent." Qin Heng looked at them dispassionately, deigning to offer a compliment. "Considering I started Qi Refinement at seven and became an Immortal at fifteen, for me to say you have 'some talent' is already quite a statement."

"Compared to Mr. Xuantian, we are not worthy," the three remained extremely humble. They were fully aware of Qin Heng's terrifying strength and did not dare to relax.

"President Qin, those people have all voluntarily resigned. I've taken care of it," Chen Qingzhu returned, her pretty face smiling. She looked at the three men and smiled. "Would you like me to introduce these three to you?"

"No need," Qin Heng shook his head and spoke indifferently. "Only when they have reached Hidden Force will they be qualified for me to know their names."

Hearing this, the faces of the three men flushed red with anger. Qin Heng is really looking down on us! Even if his strength is heaven-defying, there's no need to be so arrogant! However, reason quickly reminded them that Qin Heng's strength was incomparable, and they were not in a position to contend with him. They immediately suppressed their emotions.

"I know you are angered in your hearts," Qin Heng said calmly, looking at the three with a slight tilt of his head. "It's just that due to my strength, you dare not speak up. I can see all of that. Now, I want to tell you this: it's natural to feel fear because of my strength. When the weak face the strong, instinctive fear isn't shameful. What's shameful is not being inspired by it to become stronger!"

Upon hearing these words, the three of them were struck as if by lightning, immediately stunned. Their gazes flickered as they fell into deep thought. After a moment, shamefaced expressions appeared on their faces. They bowed deeply to Qin Heng and said in unison, "Thank you, Mr. Xuantian, for your guidance."

"Mm." Qin Heng nodded slightly and said indifferently, "You are all heading to the Sino-American Youth Martial Arts Exchange. With your current strength, you won't suffice. I will teach you a few things to increase your energy and strengthen your bodies."

Having said that, Qin Heng imparted to them a mantra and a few postures. This was an elementary External Method from a minor sect in the Immortal Cultivation World—one whose strongest cultivators were only at the Golden Core realm—which could be used for strengthening the body. However, even so, for the most elementary Martial Artists on Earth, it was a peerless Supreme Divine Skill. Its cultivation speed and power far surpassed ordinary martial arts!

It was only after a short three to four minutes that the three started to exclaim in amazement.

"My heavens, what a Divine Skill! I can feel my Inner Strength growing!"

"Incredible! Absolutely incredible! In just these three to four minutes, I feel as if my strength has increased by a kilogram!"

"Divine Skill! A Supreme Divine Skill! I have never heard of such a Divine Skill before. Mr. Xuantian is truly a figure like an Immortal. No, you are an Immortal!"

The three of them were exceedingly excited.

Their cultivation was all based on their family's techniques, and it was already very difficult to reach the Open Force stage. Not to mention achieving Hidden Force, they didn't even know how to take another step forward from their current foundation. Now, a rudimentary Cultivation Technique carelessly tossed out by Qin Heng was enough for them to treasure as a divine relic! For a Martial Artist, the gift of a Cultivation Technique is an immense kindness, almost sacred.

THUD!

So, the three of them knelt down, kowtowing vigorously. With immense reverence, they exclaimed, "Thank you, Teacher Xuantian, for the gracious transmission of the Cultivation Technique! We will never forget this debt of gratitude and will dedicate our lives to repaying this kindness!"

Now, these three were completely convinced! In our hearts, Qin Heng is like a Martial God! If anyone dares to say a single bad word about him in our presence, we'll fight them to the death!

"Very well, practice diligently." Qin Heng nodded; he was quite pleased with the three of them. Then, he glanced at his pocket watch and said to Chen Qingzhu, "Let's go to Changtai Mansion to meet Chen Xigui."

They had agreed to meet at Changtai Mansion at noon today. Chen Xigui was holding a banquet to apologize, and they would also sign the transfer agreement for the Yue Feng Clubhouse.

「...」

Qin Heng arrived at Changtai Plaza in Chen Qingzhu's red BMW. This was one of the most bustling areas in Dongpu District, a convergence of dining, entertainment, and shopping facilities drawing in immense crowds daily and marked with substantial consumption. Changtai Mansion was the jewel among them. It could be considered the highest-end restaurant in the entire Dongpu District; ordinary people lacked even the qualifications to enter.

Chen Qingzhu parked the car by the roadside. Her eyebrows suddenly knitted as she said, "President Qin, I'm sorry, the car is almost out of fuel. May I go fill it up? I'll be right back."

"Go ahead," Qin Heng nodded and replied. "I'll go on to Changtai Mansion first. You can come directly there when you return."

"Okay!" Chen Qingzhu nodded and then drove away.

Changtai Plaza's layout was quite complex, easily disorienting for the ordinary person. But for Qin Heng, whose perception was so acute he could hear ants moving kilometers away, no matter how labyrinthine the roads, they couldn't stump him. Soon, he arrived at the entrance of Changtai Mansion.

This was a standalone building, its entire interior belonging to Changtai Mansion. It was a stark contrast to many other restaurants housed within larger buildings, placing it in a completely different class.

Qin Heng was about to enter when he was stopped by two men at the door.

"Do you have a reservation or an invitation?" Two men standing at the entrance to Changtai Mansion were tall and somewhat handsome, but their expressions were arrogant. Looking down slightly at Qin Heng, one said, "The Chens are holding a banquet here to welcome an important guest. A poor kid like you shouldn't get in the way!"

"Do you know who you're talking to?" Qin Heng's eyes narrowed slightly. He was never particular about his attire and today wore an old, slightly faded shirt. He hadn't expected to be looked down upon by these men.

"We don't care who you are; our Chen family can crush someone like you with ease!" the other man said impatiently. "Kid, if you know what's good for you, get out of here at once, or else..."

BANG!

Suddenly, a loud noise was heard as a chair came flying out from inside Changtai Mansion. It struck the man mid-sentence, sending him flying backward. He hit his head on the ground, and blood flowed profusely.

The other man was dumbstruck, staring blankly at the middle-aged man who rushed out. He stammered in panic, "Third Young Master, what are you... AH!"

"Scram!" The middle-aged man slapped the man across the face, sending him tumbling to the ground. His face swelled up high, and he spat blood, teeth knocked out.

The two men were completely bewildered, not understanding why they had been beaten. But what followed scared them out of their wits, nearly causing them to faint!

THUD!

The man called Third Young Master actually knelt on the ground—knelt before this seemingly poor young man—and kowtowed reverently, pressing his forehead to the ground!

THUD! THUD! THUD!

After several loud kowtows, he said with a face full of terror, "I'm sorry, Young Master Qin! My subordinates were blind to Mount Tai and failed to recognize you. I will punish them harshly when I return! Extremely harshly!"
