Roar! Roar! Roar!
Surrounded by ancient titans, the massive Destructive Dragon Emperor quickly vanished into the horizon. No one had expected that the colossal beast would come in such haste and leave just as abruptly, as if even saying a few words here would have been a waste of its time. Perhaps, aside from Chen Chu, there was no one present it deemed worthy enough to acknowledge.
The Primordial King slowly exhaled, his tone filled with emotion. "This colossal beast... Its potential is terrifying beyond imagination."
Zhenwu nodded slightly. "Indeed."
After all, every supreme powerhouse of the human race present was once an extraordinary prodigy of their era. Otherwise, it would have been impossible for them to break through to the ancient titan level within mere decades. This was especially when compared with the Heavenly Feathered Race and the Faeries, whose faerie kings and divine kings cultivated for over a thousand years, or even several millennia if measured in the Blue Planet's time.
Yet compared with the Dragon Emperor, which had risen from a level 6 transcendent beast to the peak of the ancient titan level in barely more than a year, its combat power reaching absurd heights, all of them were still inferior by more than just one level.
"It feels unreal. Can a creature's growth truly be this outrageous?"
"It can... and it's not just that one." As those words fell, everyone turned to look tens of thousands of kilometers away, at the faint figure standing in the raging winds. Slowly, astonishment appeared on their faces.
The Golden-Winged Divine King Tolstoy, looked dumbfounded. "Late stage of the ancient titan level... What is going on!?"
With everyone's attention previously on the Dragon Emperor, they only just now realized the "resurrected" Chen Chu was exuding a faint, unrestrained aura of a late-stage ancient-titan-level cultivator.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The surrounding space of these ancient-titan-level powerhouses shattered, mighty principle power piercing heaven and earth, forming streaks of red, blue, and white light that crossed tens of thousands of kilometers.
In just a few breaths, eleven ancient-titan-level powerhouses had appeared around Chen Chu. The Primordial King was the first to speak, his voice tinged with surprise. "Chen Chu, you broke through to the late stage of the ancient titan level?"
"Yes, late stage." Chen Chu smiled and nodded. "Thunder Fiery found a primordial origin in the fallen land. After I recovered from my injuries, I used it to make the breakthrough."
"A primordial origin!"
"No wonder."
"There really was an origin in there!"
Qian Tian and the others suddenly understood, while Tolstoy and his peers could only look on with envy. If they had obtained such a thing, not only would their cultivation have risen another step, but their principle origin would have been imbued with primordial aura, ensuring that once their cultivation was sufficient, they could reach the true spirit level. However, the fallen land was not only fraught with danger, but also shrouded by a barrier of principles that even true spirits could barely breach, let alone them.
Just as the divine kings were sighing in envy, Shi Feitong also looked stunned. Like Qian Tian and the others, she had been too excited and failed to notice Chen Chu's aura. "Big Brother Chen, you're only at the late stage of the ancient titan level!?"
Before Chen Chu could answer, Tolstoy's expression turned strange. "Only... Vice Palace Master Shi, do you perhaps misunderstand the Divine Might King's cultivation speed?"
Before this final war of extinction had begun, Tolstoy, Xuntian, and the others had made inquiries into Chen Chu's cultivation path in detail. From starting cultivation, to Foundation Building, then into the transcendent realm, breaking through to the mythical level, and then reaching the ancient titan level, it had taken him only about fifteen day-cycles in total.
Fifteen day-cycles weren't even as long as one of their secluded cultivations, yet in that almost blink of time, a monster with battle strength on par with a true spirit had risen, leading the four civilizations in resisting the Purgatory Clan's tyranny of ten thousand years. It was because of Chen Chu that they still dared to fight the Purgatory Clan, even when all eight empires joined forces.
With Chen Chu's outrageous growth speed, all it would take was dragging the war out just a few more day-cycles, and victory would inevitably belong to them, even if the Primordial Ancestor had revived.
They didn't bet wrong. Though many unexpected events had occurred along the way, the result of the war was more or less what they had foreseen.
Seeing the strange looks in the eyes of all of these ancient-titan-level powerhouses, Shi Feitong also paused. Was what I just said really inappropriate? But when Chen Chu left, he was already at the mythical level. Now, after over ten thousand years, he's only reached the late stage of the ancient titan level. Isn't that a bit slow?
With his talent, by now he should have at least reached the peak of the true spirit level, or even the semi-primordial level.
"Actually, there is indeed a small misunderstanding here." Chen Chu smiled lightly. "But this is not the place to talk. Let's return to the rear base first, and discuss matters regarding the ancient delegation as well."
