Chapter 615: What Do You Want to Do_1

It wasn't long after Sky Shadow had challenged Feng Yi that Sophia, through Rekart's special privileges, approached the Flame Fleet. Most of the Flame warriors were still in training, but the sentries were always on guard duty.

Looking at the quietly elegant woman, the first reaction of the Flame sentry was that she must have come to the wrong door. Her radiant, colourful eyes and delicate appearance, along with her fair skin, convincingly evidenced her to be a New Human, not a female soldier of the Flame Legion. Even female soldiers of the Flame Legion would acquire a healthy, sun-tanned skin due to their daily exposure to the sun.

Although she wasn't exceptionally beautiful, she was very easy on the eyes, arguably more so than any woman he'd ever met.

But, Sophia couldn't directly contact Feng Yi due to her level of authority, but with Bergheide's recommendation, it actually eliminated a lot of the hassle.

The sentry quickly guided Sophia to the bar inside the Flame ship, a place Feng Yi frequently frequented.

"Thank you." As they parted, Sophia didn't forget to politely thank the soldier, then she slowly stepped into the bar and began looking around…

That being said, even Sophia, who was accustomed to grand scenes, felt a somewhat different emotion when she entered the Flame Fleet's bar.

The bar was entirely modelled on old European architectural features, with an individualistic style on the waist-high counters. This not only reminded her of Mardis, where she used to work in a bar every day, and Li Xiang used to visit her often. Did not everything then coincide with what she saw presently?

If Feng Yi had been there, he would have definitely clarified that it was all just a coincidence. However, what caught Sophia's attention was not the architectural style but the shoddy environment around her. The bar was full of soldiers drinking and jesting. Many of the male soldiers had simply taken off their shirts, revealing their muscular bodies. These were the wounded and sick soldiers who couldn't attend training. Sophia looked around and finally spotted Feng Yi, the familiar stranger, in an inconspicuous corner.

At that moment, Feng Yi was alone, drinking. As the saying goes, one must enjoy life when they're doing well, regardless of war or no war, one has to know how to enjoy life, to experience life. After going through a day of training until twilight, having a small drink was undoubtedly one of the greatest pleasures. But Feng Yi's mood has been poor recently, and the soldiers saw that, hence no one disturbed him, even John tried as much as possible to avoid him, fearing unnecessary trouble.

As a breeze brought a pleasant scent, Feng Yi inexplicably felt a figure suddenly appear before his eyes. He then took another look.

...

So ten seconds had passed, and he seemed to have seen the woman sitting across from him somewhere before. He couldn't recall where exactly, perhaps due to drinking too much, he really couldn't remember. In fact, Feng Yi considered his own memory to be quite good, but after dealing with tens of thousands of soldiers every day, he was almost incapable of recognizing faces.

However, the curiosity toward this differently dressed girl next door stimulated Feng Yi's curiosity. He was quickly searching his memory for anything related to her. After filtering through his memories, he couldn't remember a thing. Perhaps he was overthinking.

On the other hand, the other Flame warriors at the other tables were also looking over here. Good heavens, this girl is quite attractive. They wondered if this was some past romance of their superior's.

"Are you looking for someone, miss?" Feng Yi asked as everyone watched.

Sophia nodded slightly.

Feng Yi looked left and right, but he noticed that there was no one else but him around. So he pointed to himself.

Sophia gently held up her goblet without confirming or denying his assumption as she continued to study him with interest… That kind, which held him captive in her gaze, was enough to make her watch him earnestly for quite a while. Finally, she took back her gaze and casually surveyed her surroundings, as if reminiscing something.

The scene before him made Feng Yi's head buzz. Suddenly, Feng Yi recalled the memories related to her. The prim, elegant girl with an inscrutable smile. She always liked to listen. The woman sitting across him was the very same Sophia, wasn't it?

Time had indeed changed Feng Yi as well as his personality, but it had not left a trace of years on Sophia's face. She was still her. Even her simple movements and subtle eye expressions perfectly matched the quiet girl from back then.

However, what puzzled Feng Yi was why she had come to him and why she was in Rekart's fleet. Was it merely a coincidence or did Sophia know about his identity? Due to these uncertainties, Feng Yi decided to play dumb.

"So you're looking for … And who is…"

"Does who I am matter to you? Looks like you've been missing for a while, Li Xiang. You haven't thought about explaining to me, have you?"

"Ahem, you seem to already know who I am──I'm sorry, Sophia, I …"

Sophia gently shook her head, halting Feng Yi from continuing, "If apologies could solve things, that'd be great. I really don't want to hear your apology."

Just as Feng Yi was unsure of what to say, she couldn't help but chuckle, "Didn't think you were so good. I saw your fight that day. Should I call you classmate Li Xiang now or Feng Yi?"

At those words, Feng Yi finally felt helped his heart to settle. It seemed that Sophia was not mad, but then again, he hadn't ever seen Sophia angry before. So, he didn't know what she'd be like mad. Therefore, he awkwardly laughed, "So that's what this is about. You can call me whatever you like. Ahaha, hahaha, hahahaha…"

In fact, Feng Yi was genuinely surprised to see Sophia in such a setting. He was entirely unprepared. He had always felt guilty towards Sophia. However, he knew he was a soldier of the Federation Army, a soldier who could be returned to the battlefield at any moment. Therefore, he had decided to give up on this relationship long ago. The current Feng Yi had no idea how to continue this abrupt dialogue.

It wasn't until Feng Yi had finished speaking that Sophia nodded gently, "Hmm, so what do you want to say to me?"

Seeing the somewhat disconcerted Feng Yi made her smile subtly as she gracefully surveyed him from head to toe. Must say, his appearance did bear some resemblance to the old Li Xiang.

"Ahem, Sophia, actually you're a good girl…"

"And then? Is that all you wanted to say?"

"Actually, I'm a soldier as you know. In fact, back then, I was just using you."

"So that's why you unintentionally developed real feelings, or out of guilt, gave me this Space Crystal, correct?" Sophia timely took out the well-preserved Space Crystal that she had been keeping in her hand and swung it gently.

Everything at present made Feng Yi feel even more guilty and he said, "Actually, I already have a girlfriend."

"Can you take me to meet her?"

Feng Yi's head buzzed again. Was she trying to start a fight? Or was she just simply trying to repay him in his own coin? But then again, Sophia wasn't like that, so he cautiously asked her, 'What do you want to do?'
