Marvelous Mecha

Chapter 580 FCA Mecha Fighting_1

"Hmm." Desert Ship chuckled lightly, "Suit yourself, but I won't be holding back." It was clear that Takla wasn't refusing Feng Yi's proposal—no, more accurately, Takla professed to the outside world his different identity—his real one, that of the notorious criminal TK, also known as Desert Ship.

His response was enough. At least, at this moment, Feng Yi and TK were fighting side by side, or at least their positions might differ, but they had one common goal.

However, the power of the modified E800 mecha was truly astonishing. Feng Yi only fired 3.5 rounds, and the Imperial mecha cluster was already falling apart. Even a Red Cloak was seriously wounded in the chaos and was finished off by Desert Ship.

Morale always plays a critical role in an army. Once the Red Cloak was dead, the well-trained Imperial troops began to falter. After all, a single Red Cloak stood little chance against Takla. Let alone having a mysterious man in black with some unknown equipment on standby—his weapon could wipe out a large area with one sweep. Who could withstand this?

With the continuous explosions of the E800 miniature nuclear bombs, the Imperial troops finally scattered when their number decreased to 300. Desert Ship did not order a pursuit, as he wasn't sure about potential traps. Additionally, he also needed to consider an escape strategy for the remaining people.

As everyone watched the Imperial soldiers retreating from the distance, they finally heaved a sigh of relief.

Desert sand swept across the barren land. TK, stepping out of the hatch and leaning on his mecha, offered a cigarette, "Want one?"

"I don't smoke."

Ignoring his reply, TK lit one for himself and said, "I owe you one."

"Call it even, we owe each other nothing,"

"I'm talking about last time—anyway, thanks for today. Let's hope we won't be enemies the next time we meet."

"Heh, enemies..." Feng Yi chewed on this, shaking his head.

"Why did you shake your head?"

"I pursue battle and do not care who my enemies are. It all depends entirely on the other side." After saying this, he shrugged his shoulders, ready to leave with his wounded body. "What, no ride home for me?"

Takla chuckled and glanced at the Imperial Mecha Cluster, "If you wanted it, you wouldn't have asked."

Feng Yi left, without saying much more, hence proving Takla right. Some of the Imperial mechas were not damaged at all; their pilots had simply died or been injured during the battle.

Upon his return to his tent, Feng Yi's injuries worsened due to blood loss and, finally, he lost consciousness. Before he fainted, his last thought was how ridiculous it was that he'd now passed out twice in front of the same woman due to blood loss.

Meanwhile, far away in the Federation, a newly formed special alliance fleet was on standby. This special fleet, comprised of the Federation's Normandy, Weibang's Feiyu, Hell's Gate's Moonlight, and Zana's Hundred Beast, was preparing for departure.

For these operations, the target of the special fleet was the Silver Alliance's Rekart. Other than the Diya Alliance that was at odds with Saudi, all other FCA allied forces would be present, and a super collision would take place in the Bermuda star river two weeks later.

Usually, each force operates on its own, but now, to achieve military objectives, they would all come together to fight. This was also a test for each nation's commanding generals and the performance of their mobile soldiers.

Three days later, the alliance troops arrived at Rekart punctually via the Dragon's Gate No. 5 interstellar teleportation point. Rekart's capital planet had one of the most prosperous histories in human history, with prosperous trade and endless ships passing by. Before even arriving at their destination, the soldiers onboard the Normandy couldn't contain their excitement.

Zhang Xiaobo, aka Fat Tiger, and Elvis were the fleet leaders. They were aware that the stage to showcase themselves was approaching, while Amelia was concerned about their lack of capability.

What a frustrating day. Amelia seemed to understand the scheme the Federation had set up. While it was good to fight, their two Red Cloaks seemed insufficient compared to the elite Red Cloaks from the other fleets. The other fleets had the 12-star generals, Reiko, Raymond, and Mirami from Hell's Gate. Yet the Normandy only had the two Red Cloaks.

God, thinking about this made Amelia feel a headache coming on. The Silver Alliance was supposedly organizing a mecha battle at the top local competition arena after the meeting. The official purpose was a military nature event—dubbed as a "mecha battle performance"—not a drill. But Amelia knew, it wasn't as simple as it sounded.

Who were they going to face? The 12-star generals? Even though the local Red Cloaks wouldn't be of the 12-star rank, it would be enough for these two. Could they possibly pair up for a fight? Wouldn't that be a laughing stock?

Fat Tiger, however, did not care, smirking, "Just fight, surrender if we can't win." They never seemed to care much about integrity.

However, the pair noticed something new instead—the beautiful women of the Silver Alliance. There were plenty of New Humans, a side effect of the Silver Alliance's advancement. New Humans, genetically engineered from birth, might not wholly be 'real,' but in this superficial era, who cared about such details?
