Chapter 1220: Falling into the Trap

Adams primarily mentioned that currently, humanity stands divided into two factions: one advocating war and one favoring peace. The war faction sets out from the core of human values, while the peace faction largely comprises the conservative class. Broadly speaking, besides Rekart and a few other nations affected, the rest, including the Federation, predominantly favor peace.

The Titan Elf Clan also hopes to follow a peaceful path; judging from their response to this communication, internal strife might exist among them, with varied opinions among their queens that can't fully unify. Of course, it might be a means to delay, with other intentions in mind.

At least the tension between the two sides has eased somewhat, so each nation will make thorough preparations shortly.

And now, even if the Titan Elf Clan truly wants to lay their cards on the table, under the guise of not fighting anymore, humanity has repeatedly issued ceasefire announcements. The factions involved in the conflict won't readily agree.

Of course, the situation with the Titan Elf Clan likely isn't exceptional either.

This indicates that Feng Yi's earlier speculation was accurate; antiquity has seen instances like this quite often, such as through sporting and competitive forms, or even life-and-death eliminations to replace large-scale battles.

Such methods might lead to many deaths yet avoid greater sacrifice.

Whether human or Titan Elf, when unexpressed emotions find solace, supported by governmental encouragement, they will soon move past this chapter.

Actually, each nation can foresee a corner of the future, which is also the best outcome for humanity. If the future cannot meet our expectations, things will spiral out of control, and war will become humanity's greatest disaster ever. The Alliance has prepared for this as well.

As for the reason Feng Yi is required to stay in the Capital, it tends towards the first expectation.

Everyone knows the human migration plan has been implemented for several years. Even though the core development hasn't changed, the direction of evolution and resource focus has gradually expanded from technology to the body, brain, and limbs.

Humans overly rely on technology, causing our brief lifespans to fail in continuing the reserve of knowledge. Although knowledge continues to accumulate, your body deteriorates, and life comes to an end along with it. Hence, each nation's current direction is based on humanity, with science as the auxiliary.

Maybe one day, when our physical cells are strong enough, we'll refocus on technology; but it shouldn't be now. The Titan Elf Clan's invasion undoubtedly slowed our development pace, but…

If there weren't this war, humans would still follow the original path chosen—now, whether to fight or negotiate remains unknown.

War is the continuation of politics, while competition is a smokeless war. Assuming future developments align with the Human Alliance's expectations, the Federation will more need extraordinary warriors like Feng Yi, whether as mentors. Adams believes in Feng Yi's unique vision and his remarkable abilities.

"Hu..."

Feng Yi deeply sighed, having heard Adams' exposition, simply shrugged, "After a whole lot of talk, it's just about me being a free labor!"

"Yes. On behalf of myself and the people, I invite you to join, Feng Yi."

"Sure enough, what do I need to do?"

"Select outstanding talent, impart your skills, of course, you can also take newcomers. I won't limit your freedom."

"You mean I can slack off as well."

"Certainly, but I believe in your capabilities, come with me for a bit."

Adams signaled others not to follow and boarded the hover car with Feng Yi, heading to the Black Tech Base Special Training Center. Following Heavenly Communication's response, moments later, an Intelligence Officer handed Feng Yi a list of hundreds, if not thousands, of combat personnel across various ranks within the Federation.

"Old man, what is this..."

"They are the best talent in our country, referring to combat, of course. You know clearly, the Human Alliance might end this war with the Titan Elf Clan in various ways, like combat, and what you need to do is..."

Saying this, Adams raised his eyebrows at Feng Yi.

Such a large group, how on earth is he expected to handle it?

Feng Yi lethargically walked out of the room, starting to look from the Rank 1 warriors, counting tens of them, including special executioner Angelina, Valkyrie Cangmu Ling, Body Technique Mentor White Wolf, Illusion Mentor Iserin, Gun King veteran, and so forth.

A plethora of Rank 2 warriors, in addition to countless Rank 3 warriors, with ancient martial arts new students adding up to uncountable numbers.

"Uh..."

Feng Yi's eyes turned white as he emitted an incomprehensible peculiar noise...

"Hahaha..." Adams laughed heartily, patting Feng Yi on the back with sincere words, "Young man, you are free; there's no need for special guidance. This list also includes many experts with strong abilities, and if you encounter types you particularly like, feel free to cultivate them."

After speaking, Adams left, Feng Yi exhaling heavily as he departed, suddenly turning back to add, informing Feng Yi that these people's locations are not unified, some on Earth, some on Mars, and others in different star regions.

Take, for example, the Illusion Mentor; from a qualification standpoint, this Illusion Mentor is indeed one of the most adept keen-type Martial Artists in the world today, having countless students under him—ranging from body techniques, to soft techniques, to qigong. This Illusion Mentor is truly a jack-of-all-trades, achievements incomparable to yours but by no means just a hollow reputation. Occasionally exchanging views with these people could be fruitful.

Feng Yi shook his head laughing...

Exchange views? Forget it. Wouldn't a little extra sleep be more pleasant?

Stepping back, he understands the essence of the universe, both macroscopic and microscopic. The end of the microscopic is macroscopic, the end of the macroscopic is microscopic; a grain of sand, a person, is a world, a city, a starry sky, can also be a speck of dust.

In view of the observer's wave essence, thought is the continuation of reality; I can transcend as the world's only.

Yet, due to challenges, this world is at its most exciting.

Silently reciting the Third Rhythm in his heart, transcendence and sublimation in an instant! There was that moment, seeming like eternity, Feng Yi's entire body transformed into microscopic cosmic origin particle waves, sensing the flow of surrounding energy, instantly grasping Adams' intention.

This job really isn't easy, seemingly relaxed and leisurely but requiring observing and unearthing the potential of this large group every day...

Starting from the Elemental Academy on the Capital Planet; this is a superpower academy where elements refer to the Five Elements, and illusion refers to Illusion Techniques.

Jade Clear Sect's metal, wood, water, fire, earth can all be classified as Five Elements, hypnosis, enchantment, sonic waves, or the Nangong Family's Flashing Golden Eye can be generalized under Illusion Techniques. As a warrior, he didn't understand it himself, yet has older brothers leading people, who leads him?

To truly speak of fighting, he wouldn't fear ten of them, but this… If it comes to teaching, body techniques work, he's certainly immune to illusion techniques, but indeed, he truly can't teach others.

Following the principle of slacking off, Feng Yi walked into the sparse academy that afternoon with lazy steps...

Surrounding lushness, the scenery wasn't bad, but compared to this vast academy, a few dozen students adding scattered mentors clearly can't be considered many.

While walking, Feng Yi suddenly overheard someone discussing him, tentatively considering it about him, because aside from himself, seemingly few others have been dubbed as powerful by a Mental Ability User named Wutong, furthermore at Rank 1.

Of course, what Feng Yi noticed was not these but the group of kids' skepticism about him.

"Teacher Wutong, you say that person is so powerful, might he step into our trap?"

"Impossible." Wutong sighed lightly, a question mark inexplicably appeared above his head, "When you can touch my clothes, then consider this person."

"Teacher Wutong, who exactly is that person, is he strong?"

"I don't know, but certainly stronger than me."

"Why, why, teacher, your illusion techniques are quite adept, plus you have terrifying martial skills."

Wutong gently smiled at the children, not explaining further, as even if said, they certainly wouldn't understand now. Among this group, the strongest in strength is the 13-year-old Dragon, but notwithstanding your incredible talent, you're only 13, barely at Rank 2, how can you be an opponent of the mysterious figure in General Greedy Wolf's words?

Looking at these rough traps, Wutong indeed found the children exceedingly innocent, but for them in their youthful vigor, it might not be a bad thing.

As footsteps gradually approached, Feng Yi, working on tasks, swiftly walked into a class training zone...

"Huh, this person is...?"

Wutong's beautiful eyes flickered.

Feng Yi simultaneously saw a few people, nodding at Wutong, saying, "Ah, I am..."

With a loud boom before completing his words, Feng Yi directly fell into a pit...
