Chapter 1032: Change in This Dimension

Ripples of oscillation thundered through the void...

The Time-Space Transfer Device suddenly landed outside of Freedom Port in the Maraca region... Gazing at the magnificent stellar universe, Blade Warrior could not hide the astonishment in his eyes...

"Strange, what's going on here."

"Hey missy, don't scare everyone at this critical moment. What's the problem?" The fat man quickly cried out in alarm.

"The problem isn't significant, we have returned, it's just that..."

"It's just what?"

"This is indeed the spatial-temporal positioning point of our universe, but the coordinates we set when we left are not here."

"How could there be a deviation? Do you know where we are now?"

"Of course." Blade Warrior replied to Sky Shadow: "We are now located in the northwest of the Federation, near the Bermuda war zone, close to the Liden Star Domain, at Space Station Dragon Gate No. 5. Our set coordinates before departure were indeed at Freedom Port in Maraca. How could we appear here?"

"Could there be a deviation in time?"

The calm voice of Sky Shadow made Blade Warrior's heart skip a beat. Indeed, this space-time was the one they had once been in, but the location wasn't the same. Thus, the only explanation was that during the months they had been gone, the space transport point that originally lay at Freedom Port in Maraca had somehow been moved, transferred to Space Station Dragon Gate No. 5.

In fact, Triangular Star at Freedom Port in Maraca was originally within federal jurisdiction. Should any major changes occur at Freedom Port, it was entirely possible that the authorities would relocate the entire light transmission coordinate zone. Moreover, with the 'Bizarre' affecting various nations, they had to consider subsequent relocations, so this speculation was plausible.

What replaced it was another mystery; how long had they been gone? Based on previous experiences with traversing, the timeline of parallel dimensions did not entirely align with the timeline of this space-time. In other words, no matter how much time you spend in a parallel space-time, it would not affect the timeline of the main universe's space-time.

Observing from the local level of civilization and technological advancements, this was indeed their era. Could it be that an unpredictable phenomenon occurred during the traversal process?

Blade Warrior posed two questions in succession: The first question was, what era is this? The second question was, what caused this deviation from the expected progress and outcome?

At this moment, the silent Roland spoke up: "Does everyone still remember the time setting we made when we left?"

"Time, are you talking about us setting the traversal for 5 minutes, but in fact, the Time-Space Transfer Device returned in an instant?"

"Yes. I think since there's a possibility of an instant return, it's inevitable that there's also the possibility of a delayed return. The space-time we traversed to is not a parallel universe. The problem might have occurred at a temporal point in some universe, resonating with our universe, or due to other reasons. Therefore, it seems we can return instantly, but when repeatedly traversing this characteristic might be disrupted, thereby delaying the return time."

Blade Warrior bowed his head and pondered for a while... Roland was not wrong. The flow rate of time in higher dimensions might be different from that in our universe. At least in Sara's universe, which they didn't fully understand. If one were to use a superstitious expression, it would be like 'a day in the heavens is countless days on Earth.' Of course, there is some exaggeration in saying so, but after all, they had been gone for several months, and the unpredictability did exist.

Therefore, what everyone needed to know most now was their current temporal point.

Without hesitation, Blade Warrior immediately turned on the Star Domain Broadcast receiver, deciding to try and ascertain the current time through the reception of the star domain broadcast.

A few minutes later, with the star domain broadcast crackling with static noise... complex converging signals immediately filled the receiver.

The result they got was unbelievable— a year had passed. Unexpectedly, within a year, so much had changed at Freedom Port in Maraca that it had completely turned into an Earth-like planet abandoned by humanity. Even the floating Sky City in outer space had vanished without a trace. All that remained was the distant Space Station Dragon Gate No. 5, which could still be seen through high-visibility observational equipment, blinking with colorful navigation lights, like a lighthouse illuminating the deep sea.

"We've actually been gone a year, my God..." Watching the codes constantly flipping through on the star domain light wave receiver, Blade Warrior murmured in disbelief.

"What, did you say a year?"

"Yes." Blade Warrior nodded seriously and looked at Sky Shadow, "Any problems?"

"The Bizarre might have already affected this place. If it weren't for the influence of that thing, Freedom Port in Maraca wouldn't have turned out like this. We should immediately collect news reports from this past year. Of course, we needn't worry too much. Since Dragon Gate Space Station is still operational, it indicates there are people inside. We can go over there now and take a look."

This was the only option now, and Sky Shadow's analysis was still very precise. Thus, Blade Warrior immediately turned around, and as the surge of ion waves swelled, the Time-Space Transfer Device disappeared into the vast expanse of space.

The closer they got to Dragon Gate Space Station, the more at ease their hearts became. Along the way, they discovered numerous civilian shuttlecraft, private shuttles, and even unidentified flying objects coming from different directions all heading towards Dragon Gate, with countless more flying out from the inside.

This only evidenced one fact: it seemed that the Bizarre had threatened or was about to threaten this place. People from nearby star domains had all subsequently headed to Dragon Gate. No matter where you wanted to go, the Dragon Gate's antimatter-propelled photonic mirror would make it possible.

"Half an hour till we arrive at Dragon Gate, our current outfit seems a bit out of place. I think everyone should prepare, maybe change clothes or something."

"I am accustomed to this outfit." Sky Shadow showed no intention of cooperating.

Mengdie obviously was not going to change her clothes easily either; only Roland shrugged her shoulders to indicate she didn't mind.

The fat man laughed with a heh-heh, very eager to change clothes, hoping he could change with Sara if possible. Of course, this was impractical, and when he expressed this small wish, a scream suddenly echoed in the room as Sara pinched the fat man's chubby elbow hard.

Boom, boom, boom...

With only 10 minutes remaining, the endurance system had already begun prompting for deceleration, the continuously firing deceleration mechanism flashing in the void, and unbeknownst to them, they had already arrived at the bustling elevator of Dragon Gate.

"Let's go down and take a look."

Feng Yi was filled with curiosity about this place. Was this the bustling metropolis where humanity lived? It was indeed bustling; every building in Dragon Gate was far more luxurious and beautiful than any on Starship 103...

Sara was also amazed by the creative accomplishments of the people. This world was truly wondrous.
