Marvelous Mecha

Chapter 952: Uninvited Guest Part 2

Kexiao's sharp eyes remained intense, but tears had already started to overflow... He had planned to retire to a peaceful life after ending this battle, yet the heartache of losing a soulmate abruptly caused him to change his mind. Through his authority, he swiftly issued a supreme command at the central computer, ordering an investigation into all known clues related to Feng Yi over the past year.

In this world, no one understood him better than Feng Yi! Recalling the many encounters during the war, vivid images still flashed before his eyes, their tacit understanding was unspeakable; their strategies often aligned. He would launch a sneak attack, and the opponent would counter with one too; he would feign death, and Feng Yi would do the same, always one step ahead. This was something Kexiao could never let go of.

In less than half a day's time, he fixed his gaze on satellite number 8, the last known location of Feng Yi and Xiu Yi. The darkness of night had not yet fully settled, and with the Dragon Gate Space Station curvature engine push, he sped into space, his target squarely on satellite number 8.

---

The Maraca Freedom Port Combat Power Tester Company had an unexpected visitor that day. Before Sky Shadow could enter the company, Yita blocked his path, "Without Mr. Blade's permission, outsiders are not allowed to enter."

Seeing the cold light of the blade flicker inches from his throat, Sky Shadow's face remained calm, and he said, "I'm here to see someone, not to fight."

"Please show your invitation."

Sky Shadow replied, "That guy Feng Yi never mentioned bringing any invitation. You can inform her."

"Rules are rules. I cannot report at this time, please leave."

Sky Shadow stepped closer, but at that moment, Yita advanced slightly as well, the shimmering cold edge of the blade touched Sky Shadow's neck, "Please leave, sir."

"What, do you want to fight?"

Yita didn't answer Sky Shadow. Her beautiful eyes suddenly sparkled brilliantly, as if ready to launch a sudden attack on the unwelcome visitor at any moment.

Sky Shadow smirked with disdain, "I'm not one for delicacies, I'll give you one last chance."

Yita didn't retreat upon hearing this; the dagger remained rigidly at Sky Shadow's throat, which clearly irritated him. He shot out a quick kick, striking Yita's abdomen before she could react. With a loud bang, Yita's body slammed against the wall thirty meters away.

Fortunately, Yita reacted quickly. She managed to regain her balance mid-air to prevent serious injury, surprise written all over her face.

It was well-known that she was no longer a simple robot, possessing a flesh-and-blood body, independent thought, and strength nearing the end of First-Order. She never imagined someone could come along and kick her so far with ease; Yita hadn't even had a chance to react during their brief encounter. Perhaps Yita's own complacency played a role, but mainly it was the surprising speed of the opponent's attack. Could this mean that her assailant's strength was at least above her own?

Weighing the situation, Yita instantly went full force, throwing a formidable punch without hesitation, impossible to stop.

Boom! As fist met hand, the ground shook, a whirlwind expanding outward from the two of them. Yet Yita's full-force strike was effortlessly intercepted by Sky Shadow's single hand. With inertia causing Sky Shadow to step back slightly, he then released his grip and swept back with thunderous force, striking Yita's hurriedly raised arms.

This strike was even more powerful than the last; Sky Shadow's speed and force were one level above hers, forcing Yita to defend herself. With another loud crash, Yita flew again...

Before her body could land, Sky Shadow, like lightning, struck and choked her, catching her mid-flight, and coldly said, "For Feng Yi's sake, I won't kill you. Take me to see Blade Warrior."

At that moment, Sky Shadow exuded a sharp aura, having mastered the Blank Paper Realm; his speed far surpassed his former self. To defeat Kexiao, upgrading his body was the only way.

"Not... possible..." Yita's voice seemed squeezed from her throat.

"Do you want to die? I won't be as merciful as Feng Yi," said Sky Shadow, his voice still calm.

"Stop it, what are you doing?" Blade Warrior, hearing the commotion, rushed outside, only to find this scene.

Hearing his voice, Sky Shadow slowly released his choking grip and said, "Feng Yi recommended I seek you out for this matter; he must have explained it to you before."

Blade Warrior's beautiful face rarely showed a hint of anger, "He did mention this to me, but how could you do that? It's a bit too much, isn't it?"

"The phrase 'first come words, then comes force' does not imply excessive action. At the end of the day, assigning such an inflexible guy to guard the gate is on you."

"Eh?" Blade Warrior was slightly stunned. When she thought about it, there was some truth to it. To avoid being disturbed by ordinary people, she had given Yita the command without any room for flexibility. And since Yita was an artificial intelligence robot, it belonged to the extremely, extremely, extremely serious type, the important thing said three times, bluntly speaking, was that it was stubborn and inflexible.

"Hoo hoo... Come in, then." Blade Warrior let out a heavy sigh and said, "However, have you not considered that I could have tampered with the transformation process?"

"Hmph." Sky Shadow snorted coldly, "Of course I have."

"Hey hey, if you thought about it, why would you still dare?"

"I trust Feng Yi, and I don't think you're that foolish."

Yes, trusting Feng Yi was just one aspect. Sky Shadow dared to come, surely having made other preparations. This guy was now a de facto federal military leader, and it was entirely possible that he had arranged for troops to ambush. Blade Warrior intended to intimidate him a bit, but this guy was completely unmoved. He truly was someone Feng Yi acknowledged.

Blade Warrior let Sky Shadow into the room, poured him a coffee, and looked him up and down for a moment before she leisurely said, "You're sure you want to replace your body?"

"Of course. To tell you the truth, Feng Yi has already..."

"Already...?" Blade Warrior looked somewhat astonished, a rare trace of desolation appearing in her eyes for the first time.

"The fact is as you think. Except for a body replacement, no one in this world can defeat Kexiao, and you should be clear about the stakes involved—of course, even with a body replacement, I'm not entirely sure. Do you want to cooperate?"

"Cooperate, cooperate with someone like you...?" Blade Warrior's vibrant nails pointed at Sky Shadow, emphasizing each word. If not for her connection with Feng Yi, she wouldn't bother with the detestable Sky Shadow at all.

"That's right." A wicked smile surfaced on Sky Shadow's face, just as people knew him to be, somewhat rakish and yet profoundly meaningful.

"You... what do you want to cooperate on?" Blade Warrior, knowing she was not a match for the villain before her, reflexively protected her delicate body, assuming a demeanor of chaste purity—the so-called flirting was selling one's charm to become a whore when overpowered. She dared to flirt with Feng Yi, dared to flirt with ordinary people, but never dared to behave frivolously in front of someone stronger than herself.

"I have no interest in your body." Sky Shadow said dismissively: "Help me enhance my strength, and I'll provide you with the resources you want."

Blade Warrior sighed in relief upon hearing this, "How do you want me to help you?"

"It's simple. Allow me to adapt to a brand-new body in a quicker time. With you, I believe this can easily be done."

Blade Warrior was taken aback again, not understanding why these men took winning and losing so seriously. She said, "Just to defeat Kexiao?"

"Yes."

"But he has already withdrawn from the Mecha Battle tournament."

"What did you say!?" Sky Shadow's body jolted as if struck by lightning.

"I mean, Kexiao has given up on continuing in the competition. Don't you know, he left in the middle of the last battle?"

Of course, Sky Shadow was unaware of this matter. When he realized that the person in the black Mecha wasn't Feng Yi, he came directly to Maraca Freedom Port via light transmission, unaware of everything that had happened outside.

His thoughts spun, and he suddenly realized a possibility. Could it be that Kexiao, discovering that his opponent was not Revenge Shadow Rider, therefore lost interest in the subsequent battles and withdrew midway? With that guy's arrogance, this possibility definitely existed.
