My All-Heavens Chat Group

Chapter 25 Fahai: I've Attained Enlightenment (Two in One Mega Chapter)_2

Tushan's Second Master: "Sigh, life is like a coffee table, filled with cups (tragedy)."

Huashan Sect Master: "What do you think Fahai is feeling right now after seeing the video?"

Cloud Mist Sect Master: "I wonder about Fahai's current mental state?"

「Jinshan Temple, Great Treasure Hall.」

Fahai had already finished watching the video, but he remained speechless for a long time.

Humans, demons, Buddha… Love, hate, passions…

Question after question rose in Fahai's mind as his consciousness browsed through the chat group files one by one.

So, it turns out the chat group is a supreme treasure connecting the Myriad of Realms.

Though surprised by the existence of the Myriad of Realms, Fahai found them neither hard to understand nor accept.

A single flower embodies a world, a single leaf, a Bodhi. It's not strange for other worlds to exist beyond our own.

It turns out that the God of Hongmeng truly isn't the Buddha, but an Immortal God who overlooks the Myriad of Realms…

As he went through file after file and video after video, Fahai gained some understanding of the chat group and all its members. He also came to a deeper realization of the greatness and terrifying power of the God of Hongmeng.

Although he was a follower of Buddhism, the Buddha of his world truly couldn't compare to the God of Hongmeng.

Suddenly, he recalled the words of the God of Hongmeng.

"Right and wrong are dictated by the heart. If you believe you're wrong, then you are wrong. If you believe you're right, then you are right!"

The words of such a great being as the God of Hongmeng, each one a pearl of wisdom, must be true. Moreover, he had benefited greatly from his previous contemplation. If I'm not wrong, then the Buddha is mistaken! The Buddha forbids lustful thoughts, but what truly constitutes a lustful thought? All living things in the universe survive and reproduce; is that wrong? If all beings were without desire or aspiration, wouldn't life itself go extinct? Besides, if Buddhism prohibits marriage and licentious conduct, why does the Delightful Buddha exist? The Buddha preaches that all sentient beings are equal, so why the distinction between humans, demons, and Buddhas? Why the need to slay demons and exorcise devils?

Fahai's thoughts kept branching out. The more he pondered, the more he felt he was right.

The God of Hongmeng had said: If you believe you're right, then you are right!

So, he was right. The Buddha was wrong.

The moment this thought arose, Fahai experienced an epiphany, feeling as if his entire being had been elevated.

His many previous confusions and various mental blocks all crumbled. That humans and demons cannot fall in love—that was wrong. That Buddhist tenets forbid marriage—that was also wrong. Slaying demons and exorcising devils—equally wrong. All living beings in the world have good and bad within them; one cannot generalize.

Great Weitian Dragon: "Amitabha, this humble monk has attained enlightenment!"

Upper God's Dog Son: "What have you become enlightened about? Curious.jpg."

Tushan's Second Master: "Curious +1"

Great Weitian Dragon: "This humble monk has come to understand his own heart and has discovered that many of the Buddha's teachings are incorrect. For example, the prohibition against love between humans and demons, and Buddhist disciples not being allowed to marry…"

Huashan Sect Master: "…Shocked.jpg."

The Descendant of the Great Yan Royal Family: "One can become enlightened about that? Where did this enlightenment come from?"

Both Yue Buqun's and Murong Fu's worlds had Buddhism, and they were well-versed in its doctrines. They never expected Fahai to utter such words. Who told him this?

Upper God's Dog Son: "Could it be that Fahai watched the video, wanted to become an unconventional hero, and thus had an epiphany that the Buddhist monastic rules are wrong?"

Wang Hao's eyes widened. This was the only reason he could think of. Fahai was yearning for a woman. But this contradicted Buddhist doctrine, so he had an epiphany that the doctrine was flawed. This way, he could openly pursue women?

Demon Queen: "What 'humans and demons can't fall in love'? What 'men and women can't enjoy pleasure'? Who stipulated such ridiculous monastic rules? They were wrong from the start!"

Demon King: "The Queen is right. We are born into this world and should be free and unrestrained. How can we be bound by those rules!

"The monastic rules and regulations Old Tathagata came up with are simply inhumane, aimed at extinguishing natural desires!

"Monk, it's commendable that you've come to understand this and awakened in time!"

Tushan's Second Master: "The Demon King seems to harbor a great deal of resentment towards Tathagata!"

Dominator of the Underworld Association: "After being suppressed for five hundred years, how could his resentment not be immense?"

Great Weitian Dragon: "It's just that, although this humble monk now understands that I am right and they are wrong, they remain obstinately unenlightened and insist that I am the one in error."

"This humble monk wishes to ask, how can I make them realize that I am right, and they are wrong?"

This was a question he had wanted to ask before. Seven days ago, he had subdued the Spider Demon. He had also witnessed a woman giving birth with the Green and White Snakes assisting her. This stirred confusion and lustful thoughts within him. It was precisely at that time that he joined the chat group and received guidance from the God of Hongmeng. After several days of contemplation, he had gained much. He then shared his insights with those accomplished monks, but none of them agreed with his views. They even thought he had succumbed to demonic influence and entered the Demon Path. He had also doubted whether he himself was mistaken. But today, after watching the Green Snake video shared by Wang Hao in the chat group and further understanding the greatness of the God of Hongmeng, he finally achieved complete enlightenment. The guidance of the God of Hongmeng could not be wrong. He was not wrong. They were wrong. The Buddha was wrong. Yet, he couldn't even convince the eminent monks around him, let alone the Buddhas of Xitian and the Buddha himself.

So, he posed this question.

Demon King: "@Great Weitian Dragon, I have experience with this, and it's quite simple: just beat them.

"After you're done beating them, ask if they've attained enlightenment.

"If they haven't, keep beating them!

"Afterward, ask again. If they say they've attained enlightenment, it means they've recognized their mistakes and know they were wrong!

"If they say they still haven't attained enlightenment, then you just continue beating them!"
