There are countless sword cultivators in the world, and though Sword Path is one of the Great Paths, under it are countless branches, each of which, if taken to the extreme, is enough to join the ranks of the peak powerhouses between heaven and earth.
Nowadays, on the way of Sword Path, we can generally divide it into several major branches:
Sword Sect, Shen Xiao, Dragon and Tiger, Mystic Capital, Demonic Way, Buddhism School, Guanghan; these are the major branches.
Among them, apart from Sword Sect which belongs to the most pure sword cultivators, who advocate 'one sword breaks myriad laws' and embrace all aspects of the Sword Path, the rest of the sword paths each have their own unique characteristics.
For example, the Sword Path of Karma from the Buddhism School is established on the fundamental principle of Buddhism, and can only be truly wielded by one who has enlightened the way of Karma.
The Sword Path of Slaying Evil from Dragon Tiger Mountain, the Sword Path of Shenxiao Sect, the Sword Path of Guanghan Palace, and so on, these sword paths, in fact, cannot be considered pure sword paths; they are more like extensions of their own paths.
At this moment, the Sword Path demonstrated by the Jade Emperor, in Pei Xuanjing's view, bears traces of his own Shenxiao Sword Path, as well as echoes of the Buddhism School's Sword Path of Karma.
The aura represented by his Sword Path carries not only the thunderous and splendid authority of his own Shenxiao Sword Path but also a touch of the karmic taste of the Buddhism School's Sword of Karma.
Remembering that the other party has learned the Great Law Decree Technique, Pei Xuanjing is more convinced that this combines the Sword of Decree of the Emperor's Path.
The Sword of Karma from the Buddhism School is established on the basis of the Great Path of Karma, while the Sword Path the Jade Emperor is currently wielding is established on the basis of the Decree Technique, oppressively dominating by drawing upon the foundation of the Jade Emperor's Heavenly Authority.
Seeing the emergence of this Sword Path, Pei Xuanjing has to admit that the Time Jade Emperor has not wasted these myriad years; just by this Sword Path alone, it can be said without doubt that the other party is a powerful figure standing at the peak of the Sword Path.
Moreover, Pei Xuanjing is clear that this Sword Path is not all that the Jade Emperor has to offer; after all, the other party walks the Emperor's Path, which is his fundamental Great Path, making the Jade Emperor's power not limited to what he is currently displaying.
The fierce and overbearing Sword Path of Decree, slashing towards the Sword Emperor, envelops him in an array of incredible laws, forming a massive prison, as if to cage the Sword Emperor within, by decree isolating everything from heaven and earth, cutting off the Sword Emperor's past and future, shearing away the very essence of his existence.
"Haha, a decent Sword Path, but it is useless to this Emperor!" the Sword Emperor chuckled lightly, his divine sword slashing out, instantly shattering and breaking countless laws, as if this prison was but flimsy paper to him.
Indeed, with the Jade Emperor's Sword Path of Decree, it's possible to strip the opponent of the aid of Heavenly Authority, presenting a great threat even to True Immortals, even to a Taoist Monarch, because losing the Heavenly Earthly Force greatly weakens them.
But his opponent is the Sword Emperor, a pure sword cultivator whose cultivation lies solely in the sword. The so-called Heavenly Authority is just the icing on the cake for them; their power stems entirely from themselves, and even without the help of heaven and earth, they won't be diminished in the slightest.
The divine sword in his hand moves as he pleases, and his dominant aura, even without much movement, is sufficient to shatter the void. Meanwhile, appreciation appears in his eyes: "The Sword of Decree, founded on the Emperor's Path and combined with the Great Law Decree Technique, commands heaven and earth, stripping the adversary of their enhancements. Any opposing Heavenly Authority weaker than you naturally bears no resistance before you, and even existences not inferior to you are still affected under this heavenly oppression. Unfortunately, it is useless against this Emperor."
Mana surges vehemently, and sword intent thrusts skyward, an overpowering and pure Sword Intent bursting forth from the Sword Emperor, like an incarnation of the Sword Path, as if integrating all sword paths between heaven and earth into himself, transforming into a great sword. The gigantic divine sword slashes directly at the Jade Emperor, obliterating everything in its path.
At this moment, the face of the Jade Emperor also changes slightly, feeling the terrifying Sword Intent before him, like a lone boat in the vast ocean facing stormy waves, only able to drift with the current, at risk of capsizing at any moment.
It's as if he is enveloped in endless darkness, standing opposite to the Sword Path, feeling like he's undergoing the Sword Path's interrogation, an indescribable sensation urging him to submit.
This is the Sword Emperor's Great Path, the true Sword Path; he seems like the master of the Sword Path, and any sword cultivator below his level is naturally suppressed by him.
In the struggle for the Great Paths, on every path of cultivation, only a few can stand at the forefront and hold the most powerful authority, with the rest being restrained.
This is the realm that True Immortal Strong and Taoist Monarch powerful beings vie for, where even without any reference or guidance, as the pioneers, they have incomparable advantages over the latter: no one else to obstruct their way.
Of the Three Thousand Great Paths, each path leads to the pinnacle, but it's unknown how many can be accommodated at that summit.
And if the mighty were truly unique, placed in a similar position at the pinnacle, would they still wish for others to cultivate the same Great Path and stand at their level?
Why did the Fire Virtue Star Lord, after his Tao Certifying, hasten to collect the Tao Authority of the Great Path of Fire, if not for the sense of urgency, fearing others might compete for the Tao Authority?
