Sixth Ring Wizard

Chapter 245: Erza

"Shenlan, check my current body data."

Herag could feel some improvement, but it shouldn't be much.

Name: Herag Merlin

Power: 25.5

Agility: 25.6

Constitution: 27.2

Spirit: 55.6

Magic Power: 100%

Talent: Great Dark Heaven, Bloodline Perception, High-Level Flame Resistance, Dragonic Language Control, High Magic Affinity

"Spiritual Power increased by two points."

Herag glanced at the data panel, indeed, there wasn't much improvement.

The two-point increment should be due to the enhancement from the World Tree Juice.

But that doesn't mean advancing to the Liquid Stage is no different than the Gaseous Stage.

Herag has just entered the Liquid Stage; before advancing, his Spiritual Power was stagnant and unable to improve further.

But now, after advancing to the Liquid Stage, his mind feels empty once again.

He can continue practicing the Meditation Method to cultivate Spiritual Power.

When his mind is filled with liquefied Spiritual Power, he can advance again, entering the Crystalization Stage.

Herag breathed a sigh of relief; finally, he had entered the Liquid Stage.

He had been unsure when he would be able to advance, but it seemed just a step away.

Yet, this step could stall many people for years.

Herag adjusted his state, stabilized the magic power aura on his body, and then opened his eyes.

"My lord, have you broken through?"

Herag opened his eyes to find Asuna standing beside him, her beautiful eyes filled with concern as she looked at him.

Since Asuna was only wrapped in a bathrobe and Herag was very tall, with a glance down he could see the deep, unfathomable crevice.

"Hmm, I'm now a wizard at the Liquid Stage," Herag said.

"My lord is truly amazing!" Asuna praised.

"There's something even more amazing..."

Herag reached out his hand...

Chatiya lived next door, blushing at the noises from the adjacent room.

Although the soundproofing was originally very good, Chatiya, being an elf, naturally had good constitution and excellent hearing.

Moreover, Asuna, although trying to restrain herself, couldn't help it when emotions ran deep.

Listening next door, Chatiya's face blushed bright red, feeling somewhat strange.

The noise next door didn't cease until almost dawn, and Chatiya listened for the entire night.

The next midday, Herag cautiously got out of bed.

Asuna was still deeply asleep, exhausted from the night's activities.

After closing the door to his room, Herag found Chatiya next door, also in a deep sleep as if she had just dozed off.

"Do elves like to sleep in late too?"

Contemplating, Herag walked out of the castle to Blake's vegetable garden.

"Herag, so early, why not rest a bit more?" Blake greeted with a smile as Herag arrived.

"It's already noon, how is that early?"

Herag smiled and then stated his purpose: "Mr. Blake, may I borrow the family's messenger?"

"Messenger? Of course you can." Blake readily agreed.

Herag is now considered an important figure in the Cheqi Family, not only having made great contributions but also possessing an extremely bright future.

In fact, even the Cheqi Family needs to curry favor with Herag now.

Herag is now a genuine member of the Serlandir organization, few in the Barren Land dare to provoke him.

"Do you need to summon the messenger now? I can assist you with summoning," Blake said.

Herag thought for a moment: "I'll wait a bit, I'll write a letter and come back."

"Alright, I don't have much to do today, I'll be here; you can find me after you've finished writing," Blake said.

Herag planned to write a letter to Erza.

Having obtained the World Tree Juice, he decided to send a drop to Erza.

Erza is essentially his woman, and he would not treat his own poorly.

Besides, Erza was almost an ordinary person, with too short a lifespan.

With the World Tree Juice, she could gain an additional three hundred years of life.

Strictly speaking, Erza is the one around him who needs the World Tree Juice the most.

Since the Doris Kingdom is at the westernmost end of this continent, while the Black Rock Valley is in the far east, the distance between them is too great.

The people from Serlandir are expected to arrive at the Black Rock Valley in about two months, and he simply doesn't have the time to make a round trip to deliver it personally.

If he entrusted someone else to deliver it, due to the long journey and time consumption, there were many uncertain factors along the way.

Whether the World Tree Juice could be delivered is hard to say, and if it was hijacked, it would be a big hassle.

After much thought, Herag found using the Cheqi Family's messenger to be the most suitable.

The messenger can send things regardless of the distance, making it ideal for this task.

Herag returned to the Inner Castle, where Asuna and Chatiya were still asleep.

He sat at his desk, picked up a quill, and began recounting the events of recent years.

Lastly, he informed Erza of his plan to enter the Land of Dawn.

In the future, if he has time, he would return to visit.

Entering the Land of Dawn wouldn't have as many restrictions as the Barren Land.

People from the Barren Land are strictly prohibited from entering the Land of Dawn, but those from the Land of Dawn can freely enter the Barren Land, although most wouldn't want to visit.

Poor and lacking resources, people from the Land of Dawn have no reason to come to the Barren Land.

Afterward, Herag separately took out a box and put a drop of the World Tree Juice inside.

After finishing the letter, Herag once again sought out Blake.

After Blake wrote down Erza's information on paper, he chanted a few syllables.

A Hexagram Array appeared in front of them, and then the Little Elf appeared once more before them.

"Deliver this letter and this wooden box to Erza," Blake said, handing the items to the messenger.

The messenger glanced at both the letter and the box, took them, and then said, "One Magic Stone."

Blake gave her a Magic Stone, and satisfied, the messenger received it and then jumped into the Hexagram Array, disappearing once again.

Originally, Herag also wanted to send two drops of World Tree Juice to Emil and Melissa, but thinking it over, they were both ordinary people; living for more than a hundred years without aging would surely draw attention.

Until he had the capability to look after them, he could not easily send the World Tree Juice, or he would end up harming them.

...

Elsewhere, in the Doris Kingdom, Ryan City.

Erza sat in the courtyard of the City Lord's Mansion, enjoying the breeze and taking a nap with her eyes closed.

Two maids stood by her side, ready to follow her orders at any time,

On a small table beside Erza were many fruits.

Erza rested her eyes, continuously stroking a ring – Herag's Fireball Ring.

Since receiving this ring, Erza had never used it, as she had never encountered danger.

Yet Erza always wore this ring, despite having many prettier and more luxurious ones.

She knew that man might never return in this lifetime, but Erza always held a sliver of hope, hoping that one day he would appear before her.

"City Lord, be careful!" the maid suddenly exclaimed.

Erza opened her eyes to see a Hexagram Array floating in front of her, with a cute Little Elf emerging from it.

"Miss Erza, this is a letter and item Mr. Herag sent to you. The commission is complete, I'll be off," the Little Elf said, putting the letter and box on the table, then turned and disappeared into the Hexagram Array.
