Aísē: My Five Supernatural Wives

Chapter 78: Traces of Divine

Valerian's brows furrowed in confusion from Erzsébet's words "England?" He repeated his voice laced with doubt "You want me to go there?"

Erzsébet nodded solemnly her expression grave "yes" she said firmly "The Second faction of human world - The Mages Association - has requested for a personal meeting with you." she then paused her gaze searching Valerian's face "they require to meet you personally to determine the authenticity of this Alliance" she expalined clearly with with a calm gaze "To ensure you are not being being misled according to their words".

Valerian's mind raced with the implications of her words.

'Its the same thing again damn it! why is a simple marriage bothering so many people huh?' Valerian thought to himself in exhasperation at how the world seems to throw trouble after trouble his way.

He nervously gazed at Erzsébet and asked "Can I send a substitute in my place"

But obviously his try of avoiding trouble wasn't successful as Erzsébet gave a hard denial.

"Why me?" Valerian lowered his gaze and whispered quitely "I just want to live a normal life without trouble live to see my grandchildren's smile"

Erzsébet chuckled softly at his overdramatic act "Stop being so dramatic besides it wont take long to finish the business" then she sighed gently and added "I know you feel uncomfortable being summoned by a group of unknown people for a meeting" her expression softened as she looked at valerian and said softly "And yes it could potentially be a trap".

she then paused her gaze drifting for a moment before returning back to valerian's face "But only you as the protagnist of this event are allowed to attend this meeting" she explained "And as of now Supernatural races are restricted to move to in the human world due to the fragile situation we are in now"

Valerian sighed heavily frustration evident in his tone "So no one allowed besides myself" he muttetred to himself while running a hand through his hair.

"Is there really a need for this meeting I've just gone through a bunch of trouble..."

Erzsébet smiled apologetically, her eyes filled with understanding.

"I apologize for the inconvenience,"she said softly.

She paused, considering her next words carefully.

"However," she added, a hint of assurance in her voice. "You can bring Aisha with you. Since she is human and not restricted by the temporary restrictions placed on other races."

Valerian's eyebrows raised up in surprise at her suggestion.

Bring Aisha?...

The former saintess who had only only recently joined his family. He wasn't sure if that was a good idea especially considering the delicate nature of their relationship.

As well as the potential risks involved.

Valerian's unease grew more as he thought about it. He knew the risk involved in atte ding such a meeting, but he also understood the importance his actions holds.

'In that case I have no choice' Valerian took a deep breath and raised his head to meet his gaze with Erzsébet "I understand", he said slowly his mind already coming up with a plan.

"When is this meeting supposed to take place?" Valerian asked curioius of the amount of time he had to prepare.

Erzsébet's expression turned serious once more."In three days' time," she replied. "At midnight. In the heart of London."

Valerian had a thoughtful look as he mumbled "Then I should leave in three days Huh?" but to his confusion Erzsébet shook her head firmly "No she replied, her tone leaving no room for arguments "You need to leave by today To prepare" She paused her gaze sharp and piercing as she looked at Valerian. "Investigate what's happening with the Mages Association first" she instructed " Find out their true intentions before the meeting" Valerian's eyes widened slightly at her words.

Leave now?

He had assumed he had more time to prepare to discuss the matter with his wives and strategize.

But Erzsébet's urgency was clear and she would not accept a no.

She wants him to depart immediately.

"I thought I had three days but Alright.... I can manage That But first let me talk with the the girls".

"Of course my dear Son in law" she smiled and left as quietly as she came leaving valerian alone to ponder how should he explain the situation to them.

Especially Eleanor.

'I wish Eva was here... At least teasing her. Could have lightened my mind a little' he thought missing the green haired fairy and her gentle and innocent face.

...

..

And that brings us to the present where after hours of trying to explain that he wasn't going out to cheat or something to Eleanor Valerian now stood in front of his home which didn't quite resemble how he remembered it to be.

...

My were still wide in disbelief as I stared at the location in where my former house in New Orleans stood.

I had returned home to plan out my investigation on The mages association only to be dumbstruck by the view of a majestic Gothic house that totally didn't resemble the small two story house from my memories.

"Is someone playing a prank on me" I muttered under my breath taking in the sight of the grand mansion before me.

The architecture was a blend of Gothic and Victorian style with towering spires and intricate carvings adorning the façade.

It was a far cry from the humble abode I remember.

I slowly approached the iron gates cautiously my hands probing it carefully as if checking the authenticity of it.

"What is taking you do long? Valerian Lets enter already" a female voice snapped at me impatiently causing me to turn around abruptly.

I blinked, momentarily stunned by her sudden interruption of my examination, I had forgotten that I had agreed to bring Aisha along for the meeting with the Mages Association

I took in the sight of Aisha standing in front of me with a confused look with a hint of annoyance while she was dressed in her usual saintly attire.

"Don't just stare at me" she crossed her arms and demanded a answer from me her eyes staring daggers at me.

Or I think she's staring like that because You know I don't know whether she can see from her blindfold or not.

Anyways if she wasn't wearing her blindfold surely her white celestial eyes would sparkle with annoyance as her White hair frame her beautiful face.

'Ah I am getting side tracked' I stopped monologing and answered Aisha.

"I don't know how but this mansion here shouldn't be here" I muttered confusion evident in my eyes.

"I thought you said this was your home," she said sharing my confusion.

She tilted her head in exhasperation as she thought of the turn of events that now led her to this.

...

"Aisha come with me to England" Suddenly Her new husband came to her with this unusual request.

And for some reason he looked completely exhausted as if he had been sucked alive by a leech.

'Oh maybe he did get sucked alive' she thought with a wry smile.

"England is this because of the mages" Aisha speculated and it turned out to be spot on.

As she saw Valerian nod Weakly she decided to help him as it also involves her aswell.

And she was eager leave the night kingdom as well.

....

.....

'But why is he stalling for time here now' she grumbled in her mind.

Aisha's annoyance grew as she watched him cautiously probing at the house like some cautious hero...

"Valerian" she said sharply snapping him out of his thoughts "Are you going to stand there all day or we going in?" She stepped forward pushing past him towards the gates.

If he wasn't going to take the initiative she would rather do it herself.

However a sudden realization dawned on her - something was of about this place.

Aisha looked around her heightened senses catching on traces very familiar to her.

Divine energy...

She detected traces of divine energy around the mansion and it was different from the energy saints can use

It was pure and undistilled clearly from the source.

As if a god had visited this place.

Her brow furrowed slightly a flicker of unease crossing her face she inew Valerian could sense it too.

After all he had the blood of a witch those who can sense all sorts of energies.

But why would a divine aura be present in a human's home.

It doesn't make sense.

She glanced back at Valerian, wondering if he had noticed it as well.

But his expression remained one of confusion and hesitation, giving no indication that he had picked up on the unusual presence.

Aisha debated whether to voice her concerns but ultimately decided against it for now.She didn't want to alarm him unnecessarily until she had a better understanding of what was going on.

Instead, she pushed open the gates and stepped onto the path leading to the mansion's entrance.

"Well?" she prompted, turning back to Valerian with a raised eyebrow.

"Are you coming or not? I'm not going in alone."
