Aísē: My Five Supernatural Wives

Chapter 71: So I am a Father Now

The room fell silent upon hearing Aisha's words. The weight of those syllables was too heavy for them to understand. Eleanor stared blankly at her in disbelief, her hand instinctively touching her stomach.

"That's....That's Impossible," She shook her head in denial, her voice trembling as she continued, "After all, I am a Vampire."

Alicia also shared her disbelief as she mumbled to herself, "How could it be? The chances of a Vampire having a child are one in a thousand years, and Eleanor is too young."

Meanwhile, I was too shaken to even understand what they were talking about. In my head, I only heard the snickering of an annoying omniscient being.

/I was about to warn you, but you didn't listen/

But I failed to even hear him.

'I am a father now....' That thought rang in my head repeatedly.

I mean, I expected to become a father someday, but...

Not this Early.

"Valerian," Eleanor called, her voice trembling, waking me up from my deep trance. "Tell me, am I dreaming? It must be a dream, right?"

"Pinch me," I said with a blank look, "Let me see if it's a Dream or not."

Eleanor nodded and pinched me hard with all her strength.

"Damn Fuck!! Not this hard," I exclaimed, breaking my blank look, replacing it with a look of pain.

Eleanor stopped and rubbed her stomach. "Then it's true," She muttered, still not believing it to be real.

I remained silent for a moment, taking in a deep breath, and stepped closer to her, and gently placed my hand over her. A gentle green light enveloped my hand. Searching inside her womb.

And I found it a faint but growing presence which felt similar to Eleanor's and mine. This made it clear.

She has a new life growing in her womb.

My expression remained blank as I processed the information. "Guess I am a Father now," I muttered softly, my voice devoid of emotion.

Eleanor watched closely as her heart beat my words further, making it clear to her as she finally realised "I am Pregnant with Darling's child"

Alicia also started to regain her calm as she thought, 'I am going to be a step mom,' for some reason, she didn't like the sound of that name.

Aisha observed their exchange silently, her arms crossing over her chest. But not being able to take in their lackluster reactions, she snapped, "My Lord, at least show some happiness. I know you Vampires aren't blessed with good reproduction capability, but..." She paused and pointed at them, "You're here instead of being happy, showing those dead looks like the world is ending."

Eleanor looked stunned by Aisha's words, and soon a beautiful smile graced her face. "Yes, I should be happy. This child is a result of my love with Darling."

Her gaze turned towards me as she repeated, "It's a miracle born from our love."

I gazed back at her, my expression softening as well.. "I am pretty sure it's because you couldn't handle my affection alone," I said with a smirk and kissed her face gently.

Eleanor hugged me tight in response, and we shared a chaste kiss.

Seeing the two of us share this happy moment, Alicia had an envious look as she rubbed her own stomach, but soon shook her head.

'No, Alicia, don't dream of the impossible. Miracles don't happen twice,' she thought to herself while clenching her palm behind her back.

Breaking away from the kiss, I noticed Alicia having a complicated look 'I wonder what she is thinking about' I thought curiously and called her out.

"Alice, can you bring Iris from our bedroom?" Hearing her name, she woke up from her thoughts and turned towards me. "Yes, she needs to know as well." She nodded with a small smile despite her jealousy and headed upstairs to bring Iris down.

I sat beside Eleanor on the couch and took her into my lap, my arms wrapping around her protectively. "We're going to be parents," I whispered, making her hum in agreement.

By now, all the disappointment and despair she had because of Aisha had melted away, and a small amount of appreciation rose for the saintess to reveal such a pleasant miracle.

Eleanor inhaled my scent as she nuzzled her face against my chest.

"Unfortunatley," she mumbled, her voice muffled by my chest ."Now I can't be angry at you for taking in that bitch Aisha anymore. I'm just too happy."

"I am glad then," I replied and patted her head gently. Making her look pull back slightly and pout, "Don't expect this means I am okay with sharing you," She said with a dark look and added, "You are still mine, got it."

In response to her possessiveness, I muttered dryly, "And yet she is the 6th one."

Eleanor glared in anger and started beating me with a pillow nearby. "Don't talk, I don't like you talking like that," She shouted and repeatedly bashed my head.

"Stop, stop. If I don't talk, how am I going to flirt..." I tried to defend myself and made a look of mock pain.

"Hmph, you don't need to flirt with anyone other than me," Eleanor said and continued to hit me with the pillow.

Just then, Alicia returned with Iris in tow, making her stop her actions and return to sit gracefully on the couch as if she hadn't beaten her husband a while ago.

Iris had a surprised look as she exclaimed while entering the room, "Holy mother of Zeus!!" Her voice shrilled as she locked her gaze with Eleanor, "Just what the fuck do you mean by Eleanor is pregnant?"

"Heh! Jealous much, Lady Iris~" Eleanor mocked with a smirk, her fingers gently rubbing her stomach.

Iris stomped her foot in anger as a pout formed on her lips, "I should've been the one to get pregnant first!" She complained that her jealousy was evident. "Werewolves have children more easily than Vampires, damnit it."

Eleanor rolled her eyes at Iris's Outburst, but couldn't help but smile in response. "Oh, please, Iris," She mumbled in exasperation. "If you are so dissatisfied, ask darling, maybe he doesn't love you enough."

Iris stopped her tantrum and looked towards me with a betrayed look, "Really, Hubby, you don't love me enough." She made a look akin to an abandoned puppy as tears formed in her eyes.

"Don't think such ridiculous things," I sighed and facepalmed at her behaviour.

Iris calmed down and looked resentfully at Eleanor. "Hmph, I know he loves me plenty; maybe it's because you couldn't handle his love alone." She paused and added, "Besides, I'll get pregnant next, surely."

'Why am I told this same thing twice today?' she thought in disbelief at her words and replied, "Whatever you say, my little miracle is more special than your regular werewolf one could be."

Both of them were about to get into a heated debate, so I intervened and caught Iris and Eleanor in my embrace.

"All right, you two. No fighting in the family, especially don't compare children. That's bad." I patted their heads and tried to calm them down.

Fortunately, it worked as they calmed down.

Alicia then stepped forward a thoughtful expression on her face "Though" She began a complicated look in her face as she glanced between Eleanor and Iris "If Iris does get pregnant next She will likely give birth before Eleanor" She explained "After all even if a female vampire miraculously get pregnant It takes an extremely long time for the child to develop in the womb, On the other hand Werewolf pregnancies are much shorter"

Eleranor's eyes widened at the realisation, "Oh," She mumbled with a hint of disappointment in her eyes.

It seems in the heat of the joy and happiness, she totally forgot that important fact.

'Honestly, I forgot about that since I only learned about Vampire biology when I was ten,' she thought, sighing in disappointment.

Iris, however, perked up at Alicia's words. "See," she smugly said, placing her hand on her hips. "I'll be the first to be a mom." Her chest jiggled as she stood up proudly,

Eleanor scoffed, her eyes narrowing at Iris's smug expression. "Hmf, even then, my child will be the firstborn of the family."

She stood up to match Iris's confident posture, her new curves accentuating her presence. "Besides, who says I won't pop out twins or triplets? Then my little ones will be the eldest even if your non-existent ones come out first."

Iris's jaw dropped at Eleanor's bold claim. "Twins?" she repeated incredulously. "You think you're going to have twins?"

I chuckled softly at the exchange, shaking my head in amusement. I knew better than to get involved in their banter - it was a losing battle.

Aisha, meanwhile, watched the scene unfold with a mixture of fascination and annoyance. She cleared her throat loudly to remind everyone of her presence.

"Hello! Does anyone remember me? Can we please focus on the matter at hand?"

Iris's attention snapped towards Aisha, her eyes narrowed in suspicion. "Why is this church's bitch here?" she growled as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Eleanor sighed, rolling her eyes at Iris's outburst. "She's here because Darling needs to marry her or else she will kill herself," she explained, a hint of bitterness in her voice.

Iris's confusion deepened. "Marry her?" she repeated, glancing between Aisha and me ."But why? I thought you were already married to us."

I stepped forward, placing a calming hand on Iris's shoulder. "It's a long story," I said softly. "But essentially, the church demands that I marry Aisha as well, to secure the peace treaty between our races." I added with a wry smile, "And because I need to take responsibility for stealing her lips."

Iris snorted in disgust. "The church can come kiss my furry ass,"
