Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 489: Fame Of The Fallen

"Haha, you should've seen the faces of those old men. They were completely obsessed with your fake identity. Once the Federation releases their report, they'll probably go even crazier," Varnos laughed loudly.

He had expected his daughter's plan to go well, but not this well. Just one look at those guild leaders and executives was enough to tell that they truly wanted to recruit The Fallen, no matter what it took.

Up until now, they'd already received over a thousand calls to the contact number they left behind — of course, none of them were answered.

"As long as we release two or three more epic clips like that fight between Daniel and that False S Rank, those guilds will go completely insane," Varnos said, still laughing.

He couldn't wait to see their faces when they found out The Fallen was actually a member of their guild. Even the thought of it made him grin.

"Seems like the plan went even better than I expected," Daniel chuckled.

"Not just that — I'm sure our reputation has already improved quite a bit," Lana added with a smirk.

"The news channels already said The Fallen came to the island at our request, to help with the mission. Once the Federation's report comes out and everyone realizes the dungeon was cleared thanks to Daniel, people's view of our guild will definitely change."

"Exactly. This way, we can balance the headlines a bit. Even if the Goblin Guild makes some moves, it shouldn't be too much," Varnos nodded.

"In that case, we should keep boosting The Fallen's reputation. When I'm back from the Tower, I'll record a few more clips," Daniel said, understanding their intent.

Filming wasn't hard for him anyway — he often ended up in dangerous or exciting situations. Recording one or two of them shouldn't hurt, right?

"No need to rush. Quality matters more than quantity. The first video blew up because no one had ever seen something like that — a peak Rank B not only killing a False S Rank, but also wiping out a Corruption Worshipers' base," Lana explained before continuing.

"That's why we should keep the quality top-notch. Every clip has to grab all the attention, just like the first one. If we do it right, we can make The Fallen known worldwide."

"I understand. Don't worry — I already have a few ideas. But you'll have to wait until I get back," Daniel replied with a grin. He didn't mind becoming more famous — if anything, it might help him spread his influence and build the organization he wanted.

After that, they spent several more minutes talking about various topics — mostly about The Fallen, new content ideas, and the current state of the country.

Eventually, Daniel stood up, said his goodbyes, and left. He planned to challenge the Tower tomorrow, so he wanted to spend the rest of the day with his family.

After he left, father and daughter exchanged glances.

"Father, aren't you going to tell him?" Lana asked with a hint of worry.

"About that place? I don't think it would change anything. He'll go there no matter what."

"But it might change his mind," she insisted. The truth was, the danger of the Gulf of Sumer was far greater than what her father had told Daniel.

The real threat was something else entirely — all those mines and wars were just a cover to hide it.

"I saw his eyes. There was determination in them. Nothing can change his mind. Besides, once he comes back from the Tower, we'll talk to him again. I'll tell him then," Varnos said quietly, though he knew even telling him now wouldn't make a difference.

"For now, forget about that. We have more important things to do. If the NAL takes place this time, we have to give it everything and take first place."

"Do we even need to try? Daniel alone could sweep the whole competition. I doubt there's another monster like him," Lana said mockingly.

"Don't underestimate the prodigies from those powerful nations. Maybe one of them really is a monster who can rival Daniel," Varnos replied calmly — though his tone carried no confidence.

A monster like Daniel? If such a person existed, they would've heard about them by now, especially if they were from one of the major nations.

"Anyway, I have to go to a meeting. The president himself and the top government officials called for it. If I'm late, they might take it as an insult."

"I understand. Just don't do anything reckless. Don't pick a fight with the leader of the Goblin Guild," Lana said, shaking her head.

Varnos laughed loudly and didn't reply. His figure vanished the next moment. As he left, Lana sighed. For some reason, her intuition told her the future would be far from peaceful.

At that same time, Daniel had returned home. He told his family about his plan to challenge the Tower and that he might be gone for a while.

They were already used to it and didn't say much — only reminding him to stay safe.

Liana decided to cook her children's favorite meal that night, while Daniel took Alice and Tiana out for some training.

They sparred again — and as expected, the girls lost easily. But it was clear they had gotten much stronger.

He gave them a few pieces of advice, and the three of them went to the dining room for dinner.

The atmosphere was peaceful and full of joy — no stress, no fear, no worries. Seeing his family so happy made Daniel smile as he enjoyed his meal.

After dinner, the four of them stayed up late, talking and laughing together, while Liana told Tiana stories from their childhood.

When it got late, they all went to sleep. Though, Daniel frowned slightly as he felt something.

Two Fallen appeared silently behind him.

"Watch over my family. If anything happens, run," he ordered them before vanishing.

A moment later, he appeared in the sky above his home — where a familiar figure was already waiting.

A beautiful woman stood there, her powerful aura faintly hidden.

"What brings you here, Lady Diana?" Daniel asked with suspicion as his eyes fixed on her figure.
