"But you have to survive one full-powered attack from me! For me not to kill you! Are you up for the challenge!~ " Evelynn smiled.
If she wanted to make a Divine and not just any Divine! But one who ascended to this phase from nothing! Unconditionally loyal to her.
Than was there anything better than absolute strength to make that happen.
No. There wasn't.
Considering beings such as them who came from nothing perfectly knew what it ment to have absolute strength and what it represented.
She would show him the real disparity between there strength. Not just a minute strand of it and would make him practically worship her through her strength.
Make this spirit revere her more than he revered the world spirit! More than he revered Elytheria.
Dian's lips parted in shock.
His soul trembled again at the absurdity of the condition this calamity put before him to keep his life.
'Am I ready for the challenge. Fuck- Do you even hear yourself Vampire.' He wanted to scream so badly but he held it in.
Was there any difference between the two. No there wasn't since in both cases he was going to die anyways.
Nevertheless there was still a tiny chance of him surviving the challenge as compared to him simply killing himself.
He could only hope for a merical to happen and survive this ordeal.
With such thoughts Dian accepted the challenge that never really had his life on line but he doesn't know that.
Evelynn nodded at his affirmation. "Alright!~ before I began I'll give you sometime to put your strongest defense you possibly can against me!~ "
Dian looked at the Vampire for a second too long and with a deep breath immediately activated his Divine Domain — Vail Of Dark-Shadow.
His heart thumped and his magical energy pulsed as all the inanimate and animate shadows that only looked alive previously were now actually alive.
The moved and slithered wanting to reach the Divine! The movements of the deep-shadows in the pale luminance of the white sun was nothing short of foreboding! They appeared like a deep and dark ocean of moving insects.
Than all of a sudden they disappeared. The deep shadows from a nearly three hundred kilometers diameter all just disappeared.
Meanwhile in the skies a hundred kilometer wide circular-dome of darkness appeared. It spread from Dian's body.
Engulfing both him and Evelynn within its dark embrace all within a fraction of a second. Not even the white sun's pale light could penetrate this dome of darkness! It's surface smooth as it absorbed all the light! It was like a giant black-dot in the middle of the skies.
However inside of that dark-dome Dian stood one with the shadows! His figure all but vanished in the deep darkness! His Divine Core throbbed and his grayish-black aura flared inside the dark-dome.
*Whumb!~* *Whumb!~*
The alive-shadows that had disappeared from the ground could be seen behind him! All those shadows of both inanimate and animate object than began fusing with the empty shadows of the many different creature's and lifeforms that were killed and absorbed by Dian.
The shadows were innumerable perhaps even more than a million however they all fused in a very inhumane and grotesque manner creating something akin to a floating dark-orb behind him.
It was not more than three meters in diameter but the aura of malice and malevolence this grotesque orb of fused shadows exuded was nothing short of petrifying.
It shone with a dark luster that directly attacked once 'will' and soul. Making them collapse from terror alone if looked upon for a time too long.
The element of horror was further amplified by the spine chilling darkness present inside the dome.
This was the Divine Domain of The Shadow-Vail Spirit — Dian. Created from his Law of Shadow and the Law of Darkness.
"Are you ready! ~ " Evelynn asked with a calm voice! Her arms crossed over her bosoms and her voice reflecting her disappointment by what she saw.
She supposed it was a decent Domain for an assassin to have and it certainly had those elements of despair and terror with the element of shadow and darkness that assassins were mainly known for.
The former two were indeed something that not many assassins had but they weren't all that powerful either.
Atleast in his Domain Evelynn could confirm that they were only limited to there most basic usage and could be easily neutralized.
So as long as one had a strong enough 'Willpower' to fight back the fear and despair.
Than again she could always rough him up a little sometimes later to make him worthy enough to become her first subordinate.
Time was the only thing that she had plenty after all.
"I'm! My Lady." Dian responded! His voice echoing from every corner of the pitch-black Domain.
Evelynn's lips arched up! Did this Shadow really think that she couldn't see through his darkness.
If yes! Than she would be really disappointed in him too! She could even see though his very Domain! Let alone this paltry darkness.
Therefore it wasn't hard for her to figure out that the Dian before the dark-orb wasn't in actuality Dian! But just a mere shadow of himself.
He was trying to win this battle by using the shadow and the darkness of his Domain and hiding from her but how can she let that happen.
If she did! Than what would be the point of her even doing this bullshit!
Evelynn's amethyst gaze that was focused on the fake Dian untill now! Moved towards the left!
Simultaneously her hand moved forward with her palm wide open and her dark-voilet hued magical energy flowed.
The next second her magical energy appeared around her! The space shuddered as though it had a beat of its own.
The darkness first chilled than the immediately afterwards it warmed as a small ember of crimson-voilet flame came to life before the opened palm.
Lighting the darkness in its eerie radiance.
And it did not take long as the small ember grew into a giant ball of fire than instantaneously it shrunked and condensed into a spiraling ball of crimson-voilet flames not much larger than a human heart.
The crimson flames rotated clockwise while the voilet flame rotated anticlockwise within that small ball of crimson-voilet flames.
Meanwhile Dian just watched Evelynn in stuperfaction!
He was so in utter disbelief upon feeling the diabolical density of magical energy within that ball of flame that he couldn't even realize that his position had been exposed.
*Boooom!~*
The Divine Domain that Dian was so proud of!
Immediately broke apart just like his shattered reality all from the shock waves the crimson-voilet ball released at its moment of launch.
He watched in utter awe as the small ball of flames advancing towards him in a straight line. It was so fast that even before he blinked it was upon him.
And at that time when he saw the ball just meters away from him he finally remembered what he had accepted this challenge for as he came out of his state of confusion.
Dian's soul chilled because for the first time he saw the claws of absolute death before his very eyes!
They were terrifying and unquestionable! They were something he couldn't do anything against to protect himself! He wasn't capable of!
And behind his undoubtedle demise! Dian saw the Calamity that had issued his doom! She was smiling at him! Observing him with her mesmerizing voilet stars! They shone with nothing but entertainment.
His heart shook!
At this moment Dian realized how worthless everything was before her overwhelming strength! How pointless his pride and arrogance was before the Calamity!
How worthless his own existence was that despite being a Divine his death was so pathetic! He died as nothing but a mere entertainment.
His heart heavy with negative emotions and mind chaotic! Full of tumultuous thoughts.
Dian finally closed his eyes! As he saw the ball of flame just a meter away from him! His soul echoed! Full of unacceptance.
*Booooom!~*
