Reincarnated with a lucky draw system

Chapter 230: FIRST LIVING ESSENCE

"It seems creating the continuum with my blood as the foundation came out with delightful results. Thanks to it Norton is the first living essence that I know of. And it simplifies and handles the complexity of abilities for me. It's like having a smart prime minister you can delegate a project to. While leaving the minister to handle the complexity of the project. I won't be able to see the future of each and every being to know who remains loyal or not. That will overwhelm me. But with Norton, I don't need to do that. I let it do it, and since it's not human with limits, there's no worry of it being fatigued or overpowered," Aaron explained, pride swelling in his chest.

[Alright then. What's the catch? Can you use it continuously?]

"Nope. The continuum is still fragile. Connecting it with the universe risks destroying the foundation of the continuum, and even merging of the continuum to the universe. So I can only use it once in a while and for a very short time. Although that will change as the continuum's foundation grows stronger," Aaron explained further, his gaze distant, already plotting the evolution.

"Alright. Get the rest information from my brain on your own. I have a solar system to devour. But before then, let me check the reward out."

Aaron browsed through the reward, a sovereign rank skill, devour, his fingers tracing the holographic interface with eager anticipation.

[Sovereign Rank Talent: Devour]

A Sovereign authority that governs the consumption of celestial bodies.

The user may devour planets, stars, and even entire galactic clusters,

provided no foreign sovereignty opposes the act.

Abilities

[Stellar Draw]

Unleashes a gravitational domain that destabilizes planetary orbits within range, dragging celestial bodies toward annihilation. Matter and energy caught within are compressed and absorbed without external trace.

[Celestial Collapse]

Locks onto a single celestial body and collapses it into an energy singularity. The total mass converts into pure continuum essence, leaving no debris or radiation signature.

[Galactic Drain]

Extends the Devour authority to entire solar systems or clusters. Stars dim and dissolve into radiant essence, empowering the user's domain. Process ceases if resisted by an equal or higher sovereignty.

[Silent Orbit]

Masks all signs of cosmic consumption. Devoured systems vanish without gravitational ripples or spatial anomalies, rendering the act invisible to universal surveillance.

[Horizon Core]

Condenses all devoured energy and matter into a personal black nucleus orbiting the user's soul core. Functions as an infinite energy reservoir and structural stabilizer for the continuum.

[Continuum Infusion]

Automatically channels all absorbed essence into the user's inner continuum. Expands its boundaries, density, and starfield count proportionally to the mass consumed.

[Event Reclamation]

Allows reconstruction of previously devoured celestial structures within the continuum. Consumed planets or stars can be reformed using stored essence patterns.

[Stellar Equilibrium]

Maintains universal balance after large-scale devouring. Consumed regions are instantly replaced by equilibrium voids to prevent cosmic destabilization.

"Not a bad talent. It makes it easier for me to conquer systems," Aaron praised the skill, his voice thick with satisfaction, already envisioning galaxies vanishing at his whim.

Controlling space, he moved the still living beings in the system to the sanctuary, a flicker of mercy in his conquest, while he devoured the Flair Solar System by using Galactic Drain. With the system devoured, Aaron ranked up to 5 star Eternal rank, power surging through him like a supernova.

"Alright buddy. Let's get to ten star Eternal rank," Aaron said to the system, moving to the next system, the void bending to his stride.

Aaron spent the rest of the day conquering systems one after the other, his strength rising till he got to ten star Eternal rank, each victory a step closer to godhood, the cosmos yielding to his relentless advance.

Being a ten star Eternal rank being.

The next rank for Aaron was the Nebula rank.

The wall between the Nebula rank and the Eternal rank, greater than Aaron would have expected, a chasm that loomed like an abyss.

While Eternal rankers had the strength of a solar system, a one star nebula ranker had the strength of a thousand solar systems, the chasm between a ten star Eternal rank, and one star Nebula rank extremely large, a leap that crushed lesser wills.

The Nebula rank was divided into four stages, the star cluster Nebulas, beings that had the might akin to a thousand solar systems.

With every star of a star cluster having the strength of a thousand solar systems.

A 5 star Nebula for example will have the strength akin to 5,000 solar systems.

A sub sector Nebula had the strength of 100 star clusters, which equated to the strength of 100,000 solar systems. The strength of 100,000 suns and average 1 million planets.

A sector Nebula had strength akin to 100 sub sector Nebulas, and a Quadrant, the peak of the Nebula rank, had the strength of 100 sector Nebulas.

Very few beings within a cluster had what it took to become a quadrant Nebula. Being a mythic rank being? Nearly impossible for 99% of the beings within a cluster, as one mythic rank had the strength of 1000 Quadrants.

"With such a wide gap in strength, how come those visitors couldn't pose a threat to me?" Aaron asked after getting a little run down on the next challenge he was to face, his brow furrowing in confusion.

Aaron recalled his last battle with Thor and the others, a confused look on his face, as he felt they should have posed more danger to him than they actually did, the memory a puzzle in his overpowered mind.

[Don't get cocky now. They weren't fighting you seriously initially, most of their strength reserved. They only took the fight seriously after you had used the seal breaker card.]

"And so? What difference does it make?" Aaron asked, still not buying the system's explanation, his pride flaring.

[You had residue Primordial essence in your body. And while you couldn't use it efficiently and properly, it was enough to crush them based on the wide difference in ranks between their essence and Primordial essence. If you had been able to utilise the Primordial essence properly when you had the chance then, most of your enemies in this universe would have been dead by now.]

"Hmm. I see," Aaron nodded his head, understanding dawning like a dark sunrise.

"Well. No need to dwell too much on the past.

I need to conquer 990 more solar systems to reach 1 star of the nebula rank," Aaron said, clamping his hands together, as he created a new goal for himself, his eyes burning with ambition.
