Chapter 515 - 10: High-level Rune Structures

Chapter 515: Chapter 10: High-level Rune Structures

“If humans possess the same level of Strength as Wizards, would they still willingly accept the dominance of Wizards?”

Returning to the Tower, Lynch pondered deeply over what Seren had said.

In fact, he had considered this question as early as when he began constructing the system for human Extraordinary Transformation using Rune Power.

Although there had always been Spells for transformation based on humans, the vast majority of such transformations before him required Wizards to personally operate.

In other words, without Wizards, humans could not obtain Strength.

Moreover, most transformations were conducted regarding Bloodline and physical aspects; acquiring the necessary raw materials was no easy task, thereby increasing the difficulty for humans to wield Strength.

However, Lynch’s method of granting extraordinary abilities using Rune Power seems to have, in some ways, rewritten the previous transformation system of Wizards.

Now, as long as an Extraordinary Altar is pre-constructed using Alchemy Tools, with a Magic Stone and a small amount of auxiliary materials placed upon it, even repeated modifications no longer require a Wizard to operate the Altar; it can be activated through a specific switch to grant extraordinary abilities.

Compared to previous complexities, this method makes it incredibly easy and convenient for humans to acquire Strength. Just look at Lynch’s Adventurer Guild now, where at least over thirty percent of the tens of thousands of adventurers have been endowed with extraordinary abilities.

In the past, the idea of humans contending with Wizards was nothing short of a fool’s dream. Even the most elite Great Knights among humans could barely hold their own against regular Wizards, and such individuals were few and far between among millions of humans.

But after being endowed with extraordinary abilities, humans who can rival Wizards are now numerous, and a few powerful ones even hold their own against High-level Wizards.

It should be known that in many Witch Domains, Wizards already constitute the core Strength… the lifelong pursuit of countless apprentices…

Luckily, within the entire Wizard community, High-level Wizards who possess energy in the hundreds are still not considered much.

Secret skill, Domain, Rules, Truth—as long as Wizards continue to hold these sources of Strength, losing the dominance of this world is impossible.

Then comes the problem.

As the development of Rune Power continues, following this trajectory will inevitably grant humans even higher levels of Strength. Will the world’s structure change as a result?

Shaking his head, Lynch decided not to worry about it for now. After all, from the current standpoint, it wasn’t yet an issue, not to mention that he still faced a large number of unsolved problems in bestowing Mystical Realm-level Strength. Who knows if he even has the ability to endow power above the Mystical Realm?

The gap between each tier of Wizards is already an unbridgeable chasm. As long as Wizards hold onto Truth, even if the entire world’s humans reach the Rule level, they may not be able to rewrite the order.

“After I die, who cares if a flood comes? If the sky falls, let the taller ones hold it up.”

Thinking of this, Lynch completely let go of the small worry in his heart and began to enter the knowledge from the few books on Rune Studies he acquired from Fatty into the system list one by one.

Perhaps due to crossing worlds, or because Wizards are inherently selfish and self-serving, Lynch felt that his way of handling matters lacked any noble Faith in sacrificing oneself for the greater good, and he tended to view things more from his own perspective.

If something uncontrollable does arise, he thinks it is the fate of Wizards themselves, for who decreed that this world must always be subject to the Wizards’ say?

Wizards once defeated the gods to seize control of the world; why couldn’t another group rise to replace them?

After all…

Besides time, nothing in this world is eternal!

On another side, in the Land of Fran, the Star Sky Wizard Academy, Broken Mirror Tower.

The Broken Mirror Tower is a Wizard Tower renowned across the Land of Fran, deep within the Star Sky Wizard Academy, located at the absolute core of the academy.

However, within the entire Land of Fran, this Wizard Tower is virtually unknown, and even many Wizards within the Star Sky Wizard Academy are unaware of its existence, let alone the ordinary apprentices.

At this moment, at the entrance to the Broken Mirror Tower, stand a dozen Wizards, all wearing the Cloaks of the Star Sky Wizard Academy. Judging from the insignia on their cloaks, even the weakest of them all hold Domain Level Strength. Follow current novels on novel{f}ire.net

“Has the second set of Space Rune really been deciphered? How was it accomplished?”

“It seems a bit like Acadia’s style…”

“Are you referring to those knowledge fragments buried within the Undead of the Underground City? That’s impossible; no one can interpret them!”

Recently, the Star Sky Wizard Academy suddenly issued a set of knowledge categories related to Space Magic for Wizards to study and research, sparking a tremendous upheaval within the academy and even throughout the entire Space Magic community.

The newly released space knowledge is simply extraordinary; in some sense, it completely overturns the previous understanding of space Magic’s concepts and techniques.

Many Space Spells that have been used for years will even have to establish new Rules; if this new set of Rules is established smoothly, it could enhance the whole Space Magic System to some degree.

“The Dean has arrived!”

“Lord Abbas!”

It was at this moment that the Dean of the Star Sky Wizard Academy, Abbas, arrived, and the crowd parted to make way.

“Dean, are you preparing to meet that gentleman?”

“Are there new runes to be announced?”

The crowd rushed forward, filled with countless inquiries.

Abbas nodded to the crowd with a smile, “Please wait here for a moment; there will be a batch of runes announced. As for the specifics, I’ll speak after meeting with the mentor.”

Finishing his words, he stepped forward and gently knocked on the door of the Broken Mirror Tower.

“Knock, knock, knock!”

The copper lock struck the wooden door with a dull sound, and the large door of the Wizard Tower slowly opened inward with a creak.

What lay inside was a vast expanse of void, like a mass of twisted black mist.

Abbas stepped forward and entered it.
