Chapter 488: Chapter 20: Green House and Domain Document
Clofis, as a representative figure of the Wizard Family from the Land of Freedom, has been rapidly expanding across the Wizard World, yet in Fran, he has encountered obstructions, unable to extend his influence into it until now.
Rumors say they are like water and fire, incompatible, but today it seems those rumors may not be entirely true, as there is still space for cooperation.
“Let’s go this way, sir.”
Two maidservants led Lynch to the spiral staircase on the side, taking him to the second floor.
At the top of the stairs, two transformed Great Knights were guarding the way until the maidservants showed a badge-like item, granting access.
Along the corridor, they reached the third private room where two young maidservants dressed in bunny-girl-like black and white outfits were standing guard, whose spiritual fields suggested they were both apprentices.
The maidservant beside Lynch explained, “These are merely the maidservants responsible for message delivery and taking care of the private room.”
After a pause, she added, “However, if you find them to your liking, you may use their services at any time.”
The maidservant at the door courteously greeted, “Sir.”
Well…
The arrangements seemed to be extraordinarily thorough indeed.
Lynch, accompanied by the maidservant, walked into the private room where Witch Kalsa was seated on the sofa; beside her sat an elderly man with a red beard, engaged in conversation.
Noticing Lynch’s arrival, she stood up, saying a few words to the elderly red-bearded man who also stood up.
Lynch walked over: “Your Majesty, the Queen.”
Kalsa smiled and nodded: “How is it, Lord Saphiro? Is the Samorote market to your satisfaction? Has Nana met your hospitality expectations?”
Lynch shook his head: “Miss Nana is an excellent lady. I appreciate her accompanying me on the journey.”
Kalsa nodded slightly, “That’s good then.”
She then gestured toward the elderly man and introduced him to Lynch: “This is Red-bearded Wizard Baggen, a senior of mine. We once studied under the Lord of Nature.”
She paused, emphasizing: “He is now the Witch Master of the Green House.”
Green House?
Within the Eight Great Wizard Organizations of the Jade Land, Green House is well known.
Lynch raised his eyebrows slightly, politely offering his respects: “A pleasure to make your acquaintance, sir.”
Baggen chuckled, scrutinizing Lynch: “I’ve heard of you for a long time. In recent decades, tales of your deeds have echoed across these lands, especially noteworthy since you defeated Tarim.”
Lynch modestly replied: “It was merely luck.”
Baggen shook his head disapprovingly: “Previously, I thought perhaps your victory over Baggen was due to luck or external assistance, but today, I suspect otherwise.”
“An individual at the Middle Stage of Mystical Level, close to the latter stages, with a spiritual field far beyond Tarim’s reach.”
“Moreover…”
As he spoke, he pointed to his eyes: “You have such eyes.”
The downside of the Eye of Death God is its distinctiveness, making concealment impossible; anyone knowledgeable about it can recognize it instantly.
Lynch remained humble: “Compared to veterans like you, there is much I still need to learn.”
His domain does not border directly with the Green House, whereas the Green House and the Pure White Tower do have adjoining borders, with rumors of tensions between them.
In other words, the Green House is a worthwhile ally to consider.
“Ha ha ha!”
Baggen laughed heartily. Regardless of the truth in Lynch’s words, hearing such a promising peer speak with humility was pleasing indeed.
“Come on, let’s not stand around. Let’s sit and chat at leisure.”
The three of them settled back in the sofa area.
Baggen started, “Wizard Saphiro, have you identified the items you seek at this gathering? Perhaps you are here for the Flower of the Soul as well?”
Flower of the Soul.
A peculiar magic plant existing in the Wizard World. The source of thɪs content is NoveI(F)ire.net
This magic plant is known for its powerful cleansing effect, able to rid a person of mental clutter, achieving mental unity and clarity in a short period.
During the lengthy Second Order Level, while traversing the myriad of Mystical Circuits toward the end, a wizard naturally accumulates much mental clutter.
Without cleansing these, achieving the final Ascension by harmonizing all Mystical Circuits becomes exceedingly difficult.
The Flower of the Soul is one of the best materials for cleansing mental clutter, and the Biochemical Water made from it is a renowned magic potion for Mystical Wizards advancing to Domain Wizards.
Lynch nodded: “The Flower of the Soul… indeed necessary.”
For him, the Flower of the Soul, though precious, is optional because the system panel allows slow removal of impurities, and with time, cleansing is inevitable.
After a pause, he continued, “Yet more than the Flower of the Soul, what I desire is the ’Domain Document’.”
The Domain Document, a magical book fully recording domain-level magic knowledge.
Thousands of basic magic formulas structured into numerous basic magic models, thousands of which form a complete set of wizard magic models.
By extrapolating a complete system of magic models upwards, one gains a Mystical Technique, which, expanded sufficiently in depth and breadth, becomes a Domain Document.
A Domain Document holds the same significance to a Domain Wizard as a Wizard Level model to a wizard and a Mystical Technique to a Mystical Wizard.
Only a wizard who masters the Domain Document can be deemed a true Domain Wizard, one capable of truly expanding and possessing their own domain.
Lynch expressed: “I am personally interested in knowledge; regardless of its nature, I yearn to learn. I’ve heard there’s a Domain Document for sale, so I came specifically to see if there might be an opportunity.”
Domain Documents are not easily attainable; few Wizard Organizations in the Wizard World possess knowledge of this level.
After all, possessing a complete Domain Document… signifies an opportunity to expand one’s domain!
