Chapter 824: Chapter 818 Saving People _1

“What do you mean, save someone? What happened?” Qin Xue saw his anxious look and didn’t know what had happened inside. With so many people around, she couldn’t see with the child. Hence, she had no idea what was happening inside. Seeing Chu Molin’s worried state, she wondered if something serious had indeed happened.

“There’s an injured person inside, covered in blood but he’s still breathing. Go see if he can be saved,” Chu Molin slowly said to Qin Xue. However, he seemed to forget that they were out for fun, where would they get the tools to save someone?

After hearing what Chu Molin said, Qin Xue and Xue Ling exchanged glances before speaking to Molin.

“What about the child if I go to save the person? Can you keep them near you? I’m not at ease leaving them here,” Qin Xue asked, and without waiting for an answer, Xue Ling had already walked away.

“Alright, I’ll watch over them, you go save the person,” said Chu Molin. He looked up just in time to see that Xue Ling was already gone, which he hadn’t noticed.

“Yes.” Qin Xue didn’t delay any further and walked towards the crowd.

“Make way, clear a path,” Chu Molin was following Qin Xue with the child and shouted at the crowd.

His voice was stern, prompting the crowd to reflexively make way.

Walking in front, Qin Xue finally had a clear view of the situation. A large pool of blood was spreading, and she ran over to squat next to the injured person to examine him.

Qin Xue took the injured man’s wrist to feel his pulse, leaned on his chest to sense his heartbeat, and then lifted his eyelids to see his pupils. What she saw made her heart skip a beat, she was unsure if she could save him. However, this was a life at stake ā€“ she might as well try, now that she had seen him.

Qin Xue pretended to rummage in her bag but was actually taking out a homemade hemostatic medicine and bandages. Eventually, she fed the injured person a pill made by Xue Ling hoping it could keep him alive.

“Chu Molin, I can’t guarantee anything, his fate now lies in his hands,” Qin Xue said as she walked over to Molin after doing all she could. She was now only hoping for a miracle, otherwise, this man was doomed.

“You’ve done your best; life and death are predestined,” Chu Molin said. He wished the man could be saved but understood if it was not possible.

“Let’s hope the doctors arrive soon. He might still have a slim chance,” said Qin Xue. The medicine she had applied had stopped his bleeding. If the ambulance could arrive soon and give him a transfusion, there might still be a glimmer of hope.

“You stay with the child, I’ll check if there are any clues around,” said Chu Molin, his face grim.

“Okay, be careful,” Qin Xue said to her husband, pushing the stroller. Whoever was brazen enough to harm someone in public could very well be hiding in the crowd, potentially posing a danger.

“Alright, I’ve got it. You take care of the child and watch out for yourself,” said Chu Molin and quickly walked away.

The crowd was looking at the injured man on the ground and then at Qin Xue, uncertain of what was happening.

“Whoever did this is truly audacious, daring to harm someone in broad daylight. Does this mean we can’t go out and have fun anymore?” someone in the crowd remarked.

“Exactly. I didn’t notice anything. Suddenly the man fell down and it nearly gave me a heart attack,” said someone standing near the injured man.
