Amid the churning waves of the golden-silver sea, the Bottle of Time from Xu Qing’s memories materialized.

The seemingly ordinary little bottle now exuded an aura of primordial antiquity—so ancient, so decayed, that even the tracing power of wishes struggled to fully reveal its origins.

Even with the enhancement of Xu Qing’s Ordinance Law, allowing time and space to flow around the bottle, the most it could achieve was... a faint relief carving appearing on its surface.

The engraved lines seemed alive, intertwining and twisting until they vaguely formed a sphere.

It rotated, emitting a breath of life.

"That’s... a star?"

Xu Qing’s pupils contracted.

As the star turned, beams of light suddenly erupted, spreading across the entire bottle.

Xu Qing’s eyes narrowed further, his gaze sharpening—but before he could examine it closely, a shrill scream from the Mother River’s Lord God shattered the vision.

Its divine aspect erupted recklessly, unleashing boundless divine radiance that finally wore down the chains of law binding It, severing the connection.

The vision vanished. The Bottle of Time returned to its ordinary state.

Meanwhile, the Mother River’s Lord God staggered back, Its face pale, Its body weakened, Its eyes filled with killing intent. Its mind was a storm of turmoil.

This time, Its injuries were severe. Even though only 30% of Its true form had descended, the cracks in Its divine aspect would affect Its main body.

"This human... not only carries the schemes of multiple Venerable Gods but also other inexplicable things!"

"Most of those inexplicable things are tied to Wanggu itself..."

"This man... is almost certainly the final resistance formed by Wanggu under the erosion of Desolate!"

"Thus, the fortune of Wanggu favors him. The Heavenly Dao favors him. The first light of creation favors him. Even that strange bottle is connected to him!"

"No wonder the Venerable Gods’ schemes converge upon him!"

"However... by turning your Ordinance into chains to bind me, you may have restricted me, but I, too, have glimpsed your weakness through that connection!"

Golden flames ignited in the Mother River’s Lord God’s eyes, spreading across Its body in an instant.

A sacred, blazing inferno.

Within the golden flames, Its form became divine, yet the determination in Its expression was unmistakable.

"Your flaw is exactly as I suspected. The fusion of immortal and divine... how could it be so easy?"

"You’re barely holding on!"

"Your current state is temporary. The fusion of immortal and divine cannot last for you!"

Its divine voice echoed through the starry sky, carrying a hint of madness. As the flames in Its eyes raged, Its divine aspect... began to burn!

In the next moment, even fiercer flames erupted from Its body, turning It into an undying pyre in the cosmos.

The fire consumed everything nearby, turning all into nothingness—fuel for Its own combustion, intensifying the flames.

Light and heat radiated, transforming into divine might, as if intent on incinerating the entire universe.

For a time, Its divine presence permeated the starry sky.

Then, in this state of desperate combustion, the Mother River’s Lord God raised Its hand and pointed at Xu Qing.

Its words, in this moment, truly became the rules of the starry ring!

"I wish... that your immortal-god fusion destabilizes, splitting apart in three breaths!"

"I wish... that your immortal soul stands alone, then collapses!"

"I wish... that your divine form devours your soul, reducing all to illusion!"

Each proclamation of these wishes became law within the Ninth Star Ring, resonating across all its cosmos, shaking all living beings. They manifested as three closed eyes of rule.

The first eye, on the Mother River’s Lord God’s brow, opened.

The moment It gazed at Xu Qing, the golden-silver sea around him tore apart—the gold and silver, once fused, now separated violently.

Silver to the left, gold to the right. And Xu Qing, standing between them, began to show signs of splitting apart.

His inherent instability was magnified infinitely!

Watching this, the Mother River’s Lord God’s expression twisted with malice. The second eye on Its brow snapped open.

Rules erupted. The starry ring trembled. Xu Qing’s soul convulsed violently.

Yet Xu Qing paid no heed. Neither the separation of the golden-silver sea nor the turmoil in his immortal soul swayed his focus.

He allowed the Mother River’s Lord God’s eyes to open freely while, in his mind, he visualized a divine ability formed from all his techniques.

A legacy from Li Zihua—the God Slaying Platform!

"Ultimately, it belongs to another. But I can use it as a reference... to create a divine ability of my own."

Xu Qing raised his hand and summoned the void.

The Red Moon’s authority answered his call, transforming into a roiling sea of blood mist below him. As it churned, it solidified into... a red altar!

The Red Moon Altar!

Next, the Ghost Emperor Mountain—rooted in the black bronze pagoda—descended, not to stand upright but to invert, becoming the altar’s support!

Lifting the altar high!

Chains forged from the Golden Crow’s power coiled around the pagoda’s base, linking to the altar, swaying of their own accord.

This formed a grotesque scene before Xu Qing.

Then, Xu Qing closed his eyes.

The Poison Restriction, responding to his will, descended like a rolling black fog. Within the mist, the colossal, blurred silhouette of a beast took its place at the altar’s western corner.

D132 was summoned as well.

The old painter emerged, his expression deranged. Using the millstone, he crushed the morning glow, using it to paint the altar.

Then, mixing the little boy’s blood of fortune, he smeared it over the stone lion’s eyes, causing the lion to tremble and let out a piercing, agonized roar.

The old painter, cackling madly, drove his brush into his own forehead. With his dying breath, he crawled to the altar’s northern corner and perished there.

Next, from within the venomous mist, a grinning straw doll swayed into view, kneeling at the southern corner of the altar, raising an offering with both hands.

The Bottle of Time.

Finally, at the eastern corner, the god’s hand manifested, placing the severed head from D132 before it.

The head’s voice rang out, shrill and unrelenting.

"You’re dead! You’re dead! You’re dead!"

This spectacle sent tremors through the Mother River’s Lord God’s heart. An overwhelming sense of mortal danger gripped It—stronger than anything before, a premonition of inescapable doom.

"What... is this?!"

As Its voice echoed, Xu Qing—seated cross-legged in the void above the altar—snapped his eyes open.

His gaze locked onto the Mother River’s Lord God.

His voice was icy.

"In this life, I have fused with all things bizarre. Now, I gather them here, borrowing the origin-tracing power of your wishes to perform this sacrifice."

"I shall name it... the Primordial Sacrifice of the Bizarre!"

The moment the final word left his lips, the starry sky quaked. The altar trembled.

Instantly, the space around Xu Qing twisted and distorted, as if an invisible force was tearing at the fabric of reality itself.

A darkness deeper than the Poison Restriction surged from all directions, converging around the altar amidst eerie, howling winds.

Within that darkness, countless grotesque silhouettes of bizarre beings materialized, exuding an aura so ancient it predated the gods Themselves!

Even the gods trembled before this presence.

A cacophony of weeping and wailing filled the starry sky, as if primordial horrors from the dawn of creation had been roused.

Hungry for prey!

They writhed and twisted in the darkness before, under Xu Qing’s gaze, hurtling toward the Mother River’s Lord God.

An endless tide, a nightmarish swarm, enough to shatter the minds of any who witnessed it.

Where they passed, the starry sky decayed like rotting flesh.

The Mother River’s Lord God’s expression changed drastically. Its survival instincts screamed. It retreated instantly, unleashing divine arts to defend Itself—brilliant divine radiance erupted from Its form, layers of wish-forged divine authority weaving around It in desperate defense.

At the same time, It turned Its body into nothingness, attempting to flee through divine means!

Yet the bizarre beings born of the Primordial Sacrifice were like blood-crazed predators. With speed and shrieks that pierced the soul, they pounced.

No void could hide from them. No time or space could bar their path. Across all dimensions, through all concepts, within every story—they pursued the Mother River’s Lord God, dragging It back from every plane of existence.

Forcing It to manifest once more... at the center of the altar.

Then, amidst Its screams... the sacrifice began!

The altar erupted, locking Its body!

The black pagoda boomed, suppressing Its soul!

The Poison Restriction spread, sealing Its divinity!

The entire altar trembled as the sacrificial rites commenced.

Bizarre beings swarmed in a frenzy, biting, tearing, devouring.

The dead painter’s corpse raised a hand, laughing madly as it began to paint.

The stone lion roared!

"The bizarre predate the gods! They ascend the starry rings! Their realm existed before divinity!"

The severed head bounced and sang:

"At the hour of Zi1, blood drips from fingers, offerings made to the Bizarre Lord!"

"Left eye plucked for the Cursed Beast Sparrow, right eye given to the Time Scroll!"

"Ears hung upon the Black Crow’s wings, tongue stuffed into the Bronze Chalice!"

"Divine marrow and spark, spirit and soul, cast into the River of Oblivion!"

"The rest buried beneath Mount Sin, divine kingdom’s collapse lighting the pyre!"

"Three turns of the millstone, and the Bizarre Sacrifice reveals its truth!"

The voice was shrill, a dirge of doom!

No matter how the Mother River’s Lord God struggled, howled, or resisted, It could not escape this horrific fate.

The aberrant power of the Ninth Star Ring converged here, erupting in an endless tide!

In mere moments, under the might of the Primordial Sacrifice of the Bizarre, the Mother River’s Lord God’s form dissipated, Its light extinguished!

Along with the altar, It vanished completely into nothingness!

Only the lingering aura of the bizarre and a faint sigh from the Ancient Immortal who also perished remained in the starry sky.

Silence.

Xu Qing stood alone in the cosmos, sensing the stillness around him.

After a long moment, he lifted his gaze toward the distant universe.

Then, raising his hand, he summoned the Venerable Immortal’s treasure and lightly traced a line across the starry sky at his feet.

A boundary.

A circle, with Wanggu enclosed within.

Standing at this border, Xu Qing’s voice spread across the entire Ninth Star Ring.

"From this day forth... outsiders who cross this line do so at their own peril!"

Quarter to midnight.
