Euphosine, Talia, and Aglea didn’t waste time staring at each other. Aglea was the first to move. She was controlled by Master, after all. Master’s spell had a limited duration, so he wanted to fully make use of Aglea’s prowess.
The light scythes from Aglea’s back thrust and slashed while she fired light darts at Euphosine.
Euphosine fought back using the ice chains from her back. She channeled more power to those chains and their sizes doubled. A layer of ice also covered her body. It was similar to Master’s ice armor, only her ice armor looked thicker and much sturdier.
The ice chains clashed with Aglea’s light scythes. Unfortunately, the ice chains outnumbered the scythes. Aglea received multiple stabs from the chains.
Aglea cared not for her wounds. She was already dead anyway. She continued to go for the offense, trying to damage Euphosine at the cost of her own HP.
Talia didn’t stay idle. Her flaming wings flapped and slapped all the ice chains that came at her. The flame that was shrouding her also formed a pair of flaming whips in her hands. She whipped the flaming whips at Euphosine, dealing fire damage.
“You…! How dare you go against me again!” Euphosine yelled at Aglea. Her voice was back to hysterical, similar to when she lost the divine heritage. “Haven’t I already shown you that I am superior?! I own you! You should obey me…!!”
With each movement, Euphosine formed one ice block after another. She slammed these ice blocks onto Aglea. She ignored all the whips sent by Talia. Her focus was entirely on Aglea.

Fire, ice, and light shot everywhere as the three clashed. Jack, Therras, Master, and his angel stayed at a distance from the three. This battle was something that was out of their league.
Jack saw Master take out a large ominous book. It was the legendary artifact, the Necronomicon.
Master opened the Necronomicon and used its Army of Darkness ability. Even though Aglea wasn’t turned into an undead using the Necronomicon, it was still a dead being controlled by Master. Hence, it was considered a valid target for the Necronomicon’s ability.
Dark clouds enveloped Aglea’s head. Her movement speed increased, and so was her attributes. With the buff, she fought even more ferociously.
“What is the duration for that Control the Dead spell?” Jack asked Peniel.
“Thirty minutes for its first level, two hours if the spell is maxed,” Peniel answered.
“That Army of Darkness ability, the undead affected will die after twelve hours, right?” Jack asked.
“Or when the Necronomicon’s user loses control of the dead,” Peniel replied. “When Master’s spell that is controlling Aglea ends, she will die.”
“But she is Euphosine’s tethered puppet, so she will come back to life again after that?”
“Hm…,” The question made Peniel ponder. “No, the Necronomicon’s effect is more powerful. It takes priority. Any undead after receiving the Necronomicon’s effect will not be able to be resurrected again. So, she will stay dead.”
“I see… How devious of that guy to use this trick,” Jack uttered. He couldn’t help but be impressed by Master. “He does this so that even if Euphosine isn’t defeated after his spell ends, Aglea will not be around to aid her anymore because she will stay dead.”I think you should take a look at
With the Army of the Darkness boost, Aglea’s power increased. Her light scythes cut through Euphosine’s chains and pierced her ice suit. She screamed from the pain as damage numbers popped up. She retaliated with an ice explosion that blasted Aglea away, but the undead woman returned as if nothing happened.
ƥandasnovel·ƈom Talia’s flames assaulted Euphosine from the flank. Despite Euphosine not focusing on her, she still suffered damage because Euphosine ice chains automatically attacked everything that came into range. The number of ice chains and their power made it so it was impossible for Talia and Aglea to defend against them.
Even by ganging up on Euphosine, Aglea and Talia still lost HP faster than their sister.
Master’s angel cast healing spells to keep Talia’s HP at a safe level. Aglea couldn’t be healed due to the Necronomicon’s effect. Jack and Master didn’t stay idle. They sent ranged attacks whenever they could. Any little damage they could inflict to chip down Euphosine’s HP was worth it.
Jack considered using his rune technique but Euphosine didn’t exactly stay in one place, and the ice chains around her were very fast. He wasn’t confident he could hit Euphosine. He bet he would be assaulted by those chains the second he teleported next to her.
Euphosine had been blinded by rage. She lashed out violently but she finally came back to her sense when her HP dropped below half. She noticed Talia, who should be in a worse condition than her, still having her HP above half, so she turned her attention to the angel who healed Talia.
She cast telekinesis at the angel. The angel couldn’t resist the power from a level 90 mythical. The angel was forcefully dragged toward Euphosine. Euphosine’s left hand turned into a large ice claw that grabbed the angel’s neck.
The angel tried to fight back by summoning two swords made of light in each of her hands. She stabbed Euphosine with these light swords but the damage was greatly diminished by Euphosine’s ice armor.
Her stabbing motions became sluggish as ice spread all over her body. In a short time, she was completely covered by ice.
Euphosine released her grip and the ice block enchasing the angel fell to the floor. It broke to pieces once it hit the floor.
Peniel informed Jack that it was a spell called Ice Death. Another spell that had the probability of instant death effect. Two factors affected the success chance of the instant death effect. Level difference and percentage of HP. The bigger the level difference between the caster and its target, the higher the success chance for instant death. Additionally, the lower the target’s HP, the higher the success chance.
Now that Euphosine came back to her senses, she didn’t fight blindly anymore. She fought reservedly, taking opportunities to counterattack when possible. She avoided Aglea who was still on full offense. Once the spell that controlled her ended, Aglea would stop. Hence, she didn’t need to do anything to her.
She focused her offense more on Talia. Because of that, Talia’s HP went down rapidly.
A healing light fell on Talia when her HP was down to twenty percent.
It was Peniel’s Fast Heal. Fast Heal originally only healed 50% HP, but Jack’s Call Familiar already had five stars. Each star increased the power of the familiar’s skills. At five stars, Peniel’s Fast Heal recovered 75% HP.
Hence, Talia’s HP was now back to almost full.
This incident caused Euphosine to turn in Peniel’s direction. Her eyes were deadly cold.
