Old Lady An had a restless night and got up early to see if her grandson had returned. As soon as she came out, she saw her grandson trying to head to his room.

She had decided last night that starting today, matters concerning the first branch had nothing to do with them, the second branch. This scholar wasn’t part of their branch; why should she concern herself with so much?

An Que was dumbfounded. Auntie Mei used to indulge him in every way possible.

Never mind about washing clothes, she even served him food during meals. How did things turn out this way today?

"Grandma, what’s wrong with Auntie?"

It took An Que a while before he asked. Auntie Mei used to treat him so well. Did he miss something overnight?

"Don’t worry about her. Grandma will wash your clothes first, then come back and deal with that lazy woman!"
