Chapter 2508: Improve

Bloody Chariot dashed upward to avoid the maw from gnawing at him.

It was a new sensation for him. It had been years, a century almost since someone actually preyed on him and here a creature was trying to do exactly that.

It went back into the water and with his divine vision, Bloody Chariot got a pretty good glimpse of it. It looked to be almost 50 to 60 meters long. It had a long streamlined body built for swimming, and its limbs looked like they evolved into powerful flippers.

It seemed to have a long muscular tail with a downward bend.

It’s skull was huge and just that lone should be more than five meters long. Its jaws were lined with hundreds or even thousands of sharp conical teeth. They were practically designed to crush bones and tear flesh.

The most grotesque of its appearance was actually its skin. Tiny scaly patterns, it wasn’t smooth at all.

But none of that actually bothered him. What irked him was the killing intent in its eyes. It was definitely an apex predator. It was used to being the top of the food chain. Its cultivation strength should be about the same as Bloody Chariot’s... But there’s levels to it...

Even beasts of that level wouldn’t attack without consideration. But it did.

Bloody Chariot immediately got a glimpse of what he was about to face... This world, is not going to treat him with friendly warmth.

Even he had to stay conscious and out of trouble. So, this made him wonder... what could be three second grade students be doing in here?

And that also made him think could Sam be here?

But before all that, Bloody Chariot had to deal with this predator that was getting ready to launch another attack.

While he was doing that.

In a safer corner of Darkhan. In the middle of a mountain range, inside an mountain, in which they hollowed out a portion of, Sam and his team were looking at the latecomers.

Sam looked at his three friends and threw them a couple of drinks and asked.

"How did it go? Did you guys have fun?"

"It was fun. After holding back so much. I get to let loose. It was everything I wanted."

Jack who was normally more introverted was the first to speak.

Icarus being the anxious guy he was asked Sam and the trio.

"What was your mission exactly?"

Sam smiled and explained.

"After the ten of them blew their cover, and they made an absolute mess of the whole place, after I caused the death of more than half of all the academy strength... their focus on me and solely me.

So, using these three, I sent them a message that I am in on their side deeper than they could think of.

Now, what they did will create a suspicion. They cannot believe surely that there was no other sleeper cell hiding behind them, where their backs are wide open.

And, now after I revealed this, there were three possible outcomes, one is that they would plan to trap my friends inside the respective worlds, and play the long game.

Which actually would have worked in their favor, because I would have gone out to bring them. Of course, that is if they actually identified my friends and trapped them in there.

Second outcome is that they would have used any means to kill them inside that world, which is actually almost impossible.

Third outcome is that they wouldn’t stop at anything to capture them.

And that’s what they tried to do.

My friends managed to fool them, they came out and entered the Zeus academy.

There also, they could have taken different approaches, but I wagered that they would try to enter the worlds and do it by themselves.

Ling Tian told me that a Dean level vote could easily help them change the rules.

I bet on that and it paid off.

They entered and left the academy wide open.

The trio did what they were supposed to do there and left some pretty big gift for them. And also led them to show that we are in the Darkhan where we are going to implement our next plan of action."

"That was so risky. Why didn’t you ask one of the managers to do it?" Icarus asked. While the rest of the group was in awe and shock of what Sam just explained.

"Well, for starters they wanted to do it. And I wanted to reduce the second graders as much as possible. And if I sent you, the plan would have changed to fourth graders or instructors... but whatever fourth graders that are left in the Olympian academies...

I have something special planned for them.

We kinda go way back to the time I was living in hell... I still need to pay back some old debts to them.

And on top of all that... my friends just said, they are all pent up. They need to let loose a bit."

Everyone except the trio exchanged glances. They didn’t even know how to react.

"Okay, what’s next? What are we doing in Darkhan?"

"We are going to sit back and improve.

I don’t think you or anyone else noticed something else that I had done before we came to this place. I emptied my points and made the Gambler academy empty most of their points to buy a lot of stuff.

We are going to use this place as a grinding block to improve."

"But this place is too strong. Its on the level of the Deans and Grand elders. We could be crushed to death."

"Come on, we all lived in a place like that before. Were you the strongest guy there ever was when you were just starting your cultivation?"

Sam said with a smile.

And then a holographic screen appeared in front of them.

It showed the surrounding territory.

"We are not only going to improve here, we are going to leave our mark in this place as we improve.

And as fate would have it, I also made some progress on how to increase the cultivation speed, when you use the Divine inheritance.

By the time we are done here, even if a Grand elder really comes up against us, the managers should be able to fight back."
