“I see.” Hu Wan rubbed her heart back and forth and smiled. “Chen Chen, after we register our marriage today, I’ll try my best to make them accept me.”

“You don’t have to do anything. Just treat your illness properly.” Chen Chen placed Hu Wan down steadily.

“Stop talking. Go first! With you around, Grandma’s mood will be better,” Chen Chen said and hung up.

Not long after, Chen Chen returned to the Chen family’s residence first.

“You still know to come back?” Grandma sat upright in the hall. The coffee table was filled with hundreds of medicine.

“What’s wrong with you two? Are you letting Grandma mess around?” Chen Chen said as he walked forward and prepared to put away the medicine.

“Stop. I told them not to interfere. You’re not allowed to move either.” Grandma’s expression was very serious.

Chen Chen could only stop and lower his head.

“Where’s Ran Ran? She didn’t come back with you?” Grandma asked again.

“She should be here later,” Chen Chen said as he looked at his watch.

“Wait? You’re not picking her up?” Grandma patted the coffee table.

“Isn’t she afraid that something will happen to Grandma?” Chen Chen said helplessly. “She should be here soon.”
