Death… And Me

Chapter 3814: Fix

Chapter 3814: Fix

[Meh...] Sister Orb wasn’t very happy with the content of the messages. [No wonder there were so many. I found it unusual that such a large number of messages arrived so quickly. Turns out most of them are not from experts going to the Main Core Surveillance. Instead, they are all asking if there isn’t something else we would like to trade for the pill.]

Roan already expected that. "It is a chance that hardly ever appears, after all. Even if they don’t know which pill we have, they still want to try their luck. Anyway, ignore all of those. Instead, check if any of them intend to trade a slot to the Surveillance."

[Over a thousand messages, and only two seem to have it. However, they are first asking what kind of Laws Comprehension Pill we have.]

"Don’t answer then," Roan shook his head. "Instead, ask them to tell us what type of Laws Comprehension Pill they want. Then I will see if I can concoct one."

Sister Orb did as Roan asked, and after a few minutes, both of them answered.

[The first one, a guy called Kinwek, wants a Fire Laws pill. The second one, Lembru, wants a Lightning Laws pill.]

Roan didn’t need to think much to choose one. "We will go with Lembru. I’ve made a Laws Comprehension Pill for Foliana, after all. I already have the recipe for a Lightning Laws Pill."

Outside, Rean received a list from Roan. "Hum... so I have to buy these items. It shouldn’t be too hard in such a Universe."

Rean quickly visited the alchemy guild and other herb stores. Sure enough, due to how high the concentration of Divine Energy and the natural presence of Divine Origin Energy were, it was much easier to find the necessary herbs.

A few hours later, Roan took the materials from Rean, and Sister Orb contacted Lembru.

[Lembru will meet us in three days. He is in another city and will have to take a few Pseudo-Temporal Paths to get here.]

Roan, who was still working on the pill, nodded. "That’s more than enough time. Now, don’t bother me until I finish."

As Roan shut himself, Kentucky couldn’t help but ask. "We have two days then? Isn’t there anything fun to do?"

Rean shrugged. "Zangeshu, did you finish some of the weapons we were supposed to sell back then?"

Zangeshu nodded, pulling them out for Rean to see. "We took many orders, but in the end, we couldn’t deliver them. At least I didn’t forge the entire list. Do you think you could sell them here?"

"Shouldn’t be a problem," Rean took them out of the Dimensional Realm. "Since there were no orders for these weapons, the price will be slightly lower. Nonetheless, it should give us quite a few Divine Stones."

Kentucky felt annoyed. "What is fun about that?"

Rean completely ignored him, though. Going to the Blacksmith Guild and using his Light Propagator ID, he easily sold the weapons, which were obviously of pretty high quality. In the end, the weapons Zangeshu made brought them almost 3000 Rank Seven Divine Stones. It proved how the market in such a high-ranked Universe was made with much higher-level Divine Stones. Were Rean to try to sell these same weapons back in Lisan, Rank Five Divine Stones would be the best he could ask for.

Rean threw them all into the Dimensional Realm, which were free for anyone there to use. It had been like this pretty much forever now.

"Excuse me, sir," just as Rean was about to leave the Blacksmith Guild, a cultivator approached him. "Would you mind a quick conversation?"

Rean smiled back. "Go ahead, friend. What is it?"

"Were you the one who forged those weapons just now?" The man asked.

Rean pondered a bit, shaking his head. He was pretending to be Xenfal, and there were no memories in Xenfal’s soul where he ever dabbled in Blacksmithing. "They are not. Truth be told, I can barely tell which one was better or worse. I’m only selling them on behalf of a friend."

"I see..." The man seemed disappointed, but he didn’t give up. "Would it be possible to arrange a meeting with that friend?"

Rean thought about it again. He still had two days, and it wouldn’t be hard to make a new identity since it wouldn’t need to be connected to the Light of the Provider Religion. "Sure, but I will have to ask my friend first. Is there a place where he can meet you later? It shouldn’t take more than an hour or so. By the way, what’s your name?"

"You can call me Rebarlo, sir." Rebarlo presented Rean his ID, and he was also a Light Propagator, one of Class Six. Naturally, he knew all the truth behind this Universe and wasn’t affected by the Banishing Light. "I’ll be in Tita’s Restaurant, not far from here. It is quite famous among us cultivators who still haven’t given up on food. Please tell your friend to meet me there."

Rean smiled and nodded, leaving right after. Following that, he left the city momentarily, returning a few minutes later with a completely new appearance. As for the ID, that was easily solved since he didn’t need to worry about the Light Idiots for that.

From inside the Dimensional Realm, Zangeshu watched Rean with curiosity. Those weren’t really Rean’s weapons, but his, so how could he not be interested? "What do you think he wants?"

Rean shrugged. "You forged those weapons using my technique, but with your own traits in the inscriptions. Rebarlo likely noticed the difference from the weapons he usually works with in the Guild, as he is obviously a member there. I believe he wants to know more about your technique."

Zangeshu nodded and waited for Rean to arrive at the restaurant. It was indeed easy to find, as it was famous and pretty crowded. That wasn’t a big issue, though. Light Propagators could rent a private room for their meals, which Rebarlo did.

Finally, in the room and with a completely different appearance, aura, and ID, Rean met Rebarlo. "It’s my honor to meet another Light Propagator. I’m Reqsan. Praise the Light of the Provider."

Rebarlo faintly smiled. "There is no need for facades, friend. If you are involved with Xanfel, a Class Seven Propagator, you must know about the truth in this Universe."

Rean scratched the back of his head, nodding slightly. "Yes, sir. I’m not from here either, but I would like to keep my origins to myself, if that’s not a problem."

"Absolutely," Rebarlo didn’t mind at all. Well, even if he did, with Xanfel, a Propagator of higher ranking than him behind Rean, it wouldn’t be worth trying to cause trouble. "So, Reqsan, I’ve seen your weapons, and one thing caught my attention. Weapons that can gather elements by simply pouring Divine Energy inside aren’t exactly rare. They are more expensive, sure, but at my level, it wouldn’t be hard to get a good one. However, your inscriptions on that weapon..."

He stopped for a moment before continuing. "There is something I want you to craft for me. Or, to be more specific, something I want you to fix."
