"I'm just kidding… you're the strongest girl in the world," She muttered, and as I let out a little cheeky smile, Auntie Aria's soft expression suddenly dimmed, sending shivers down my spine. "Are you fucking kidding me…"
She groaned once before setting me down on the ground where I could stand with my own two feet and then turned towards the corner of the room where nobody was standing.
"It might just be my shadows…." I explained, but for some reason, I couldn't sense them in that corner, so some of them must've gotten stronger.
"Nah, those weaklings are useless when it comes to hiding in shadows… this is… ugh, what do you want?" Auntie groaned once more before taking my hand and pulling me to the next room over where Auntie Amanda was working personally with a few more nerdy technicians.
Huh? Who is that?
A woman with long black hair, pitch-black eyes, and soft pale skin stood behind Auntie Amanda, who, for some reason couldn't feel her presence.
Well, now that I thought about it deeper, I couldn't feel her presence as well, even as she stood in front of me.
The woman lightly tapped Auntie Amanda's shoulder before making a scary face, scaring the shit out of my aunt as she jumped with surprise.
"Hey! Stop bullying her!" I shouted, but as the woman with dark eyes glanced toward me, I nearly pissed myself.
It felt as if I had been sucked into a void that left me swirling in a whirlpool of darkness, hundreds of terrifying monsters getting ready to devour me from below.
"Ada, it's fine. I wouldn't expect you to remember her anyway… she was off on some kind of mission when you were just born," Auntie Amanda replied before pushing the woman out of the way and walking up to me.
The woman behind frowned before her eyes widened, nearly escaping her sockets as if she had just seen the most terrifying thing on earth.
"Ohhhhh… this is Ada? The Ada Amana?" The woman smiled before pushing my aunt out of the way and then glancing at Auntie Aria, who was holding my hand tightly. "Lemme pick her up. She's not your dog," The woman muttered, and as my aunt rolled her eyes, she let go, leaving me a bit nervous.
The woman attempted to pick me up, but I took a quick step back, just narrowly dodging her slight lunge around me.
"Oh, my bad. I should've asked if you were comfortable around me," The woman lightly chuckled before crouching down to my eye level and warmly smiling. "I should also introduce myself… My name is Charna, and I'm also your aunt," The woman smiled even wider.
My mind almost swirled with all of this information since I had so many family members that it was almost getting impossible to keep track of all of them.
"N-Nice to meet you," I stuttered as the woman wrapped her hands under my armpits and carried me into her arms, raising me above her and then letting me sit around her neck. "I-I'm not a child."
"You're quite the child in my eyes," Charna chuckled, and all of a sudden, Auntie Aria ran towards us, but it was too late as I disappeared and reappeared in a dark alleyway, the fresh stench of garbage filling my nostrils.
"W-Where are we?" I asked.
"I'm here to take you on a little trip," She smiled as she tilted her face upwards to get a good look at me. "There is no need to study so much about something you probably won't even end up using."
"I guess, but Mom said I have to do it since it's for my own good. Plus, if you didn't notify my maids, then you're on their hit list,"
"Ohhhhhh~ you're so adorable…" Charna laughed before bringing me down from her shoulders and setting me down gently on the ground. "Don't worry, those tight fucking maids aren't going to catch up to us anytime soon… nor will those stuck-up aunts of yours. Let's have some fun!" My supposed aunt explained.
"You're not kidnapping me, right?"
"Oh, I am absolutely kidnapping you, but it's for a good reason," She smiled before looking back at the stack of crates, the moon just barely peaking over the edge of the alleyway we were standing in.
"What's wrong?" I asked since the woman looked to be in a bit of a daze.
"You know, I completely forgot… but this is where everything started. This alleyway right here is what started this entire thing…."
"Huh?"
"Nothing… alright, let's have some fun!" Charna jumped with excitement before taking me out of the alleyway and into the street, where I saw a large wall towering over everything in the distance.
"What's that?" I attempted to ask the woman, but she quickly took me away in the opposite direction and into a restaurant where we ate lots of delicious food.
We then went on an unlimited shopping spree that made me absolutely lose track of time, but it soon came for us to go to sleep.
Charna rented out the best penthouse room in the town, where I was given my own room and everything, but apart from that, everything else was pretty basic.
And more importantly, I was ready to just go to sleep and wake up for tomorrow.
…
The next day, I woke up before Charna, who had slept in her own separate room, and grabbed a bite to eat with the 24/7 food service.
The hotel immediately brought stacks of pancakes and strips of bacon for me to devour right before I went to work out.
Going for a light jog before hitting the intense stuff really helped me to digest the food, but on my light jog, I saw that the town was pretty barren.
I mean, it was supposed to be peak rush hour, but there were only a few cars and people walking along the sidewalks.
In fact, I was in a trance so heavy last night that I didn't realize this either.
