Guess she wasn't lying about that…
Also, she thankfully had some decency as her breasts had been wrapped tightly with bandages, I assume acting as her bra… I guess. I don't know.
"You putting on a strip show, or are you going to show me something else?" I asked.
"I'm showing you how the muscles work," She muttered before creating a sword of ice that she tightly gripped in her hand.
All of a sudden, she shifted her body weight back, and her toned muscles almost seemed to squirm around under her skin.
It was a weird yet beautiful sight as she danced around the room, doing some sort of sword formation, I assume.
It was interesting seeing how her body moved, but I didn't understand how this was supposed to help me.
"Did you see that?" She asked for confirmation, and I just nodded my head slightly.
She gave me a polite smile before putting on her shirt again and then repeating the same motions as if she was about to teach me the formation itself.
This time, it was more obvious as her muscles shifted underneath her clothes… Almost like how I saw her muscles shift underneath her skin.
"I see… So I just have to look out for when they are about to attack, and then I prepare to counter attack or defend… right?" I asked, and she just nodded again.
"I would show it to you with armor on, but obviously, I can't access armor in here… Just kidding!" She said before pulling out an entire suite of metal armor and dropping it right in front of her.
It seemed to have come out of thin air, and as I began to question my eyesight, she began to slip on the newly produced armor.
The quality was terrible, but it was new and shiny, perfect for me to observe and train my eyes to…
"Alright, observe carefully. It might take you a few tries to finally see the slight shifts as this is much harder than the clothes," She responded and repeated the same dance-like formation in the middle of the room.
Her dance looked a bit crazy, like somebody in a mental asylum made it, but it strangely worked as each swing and pierce was crazy strong… just like the formation.
"Did you see it?" She asked after finishing the form, but I was unable to see it for a different reason.
"Nah… I was just captured by the flow of your form… Did you create it? It looks a bit strange, but it strangely works," I replied.
"Of course, it works! I had to teach it to myself!" She responded and began to laugh proudly.
I guess that makes sense… that's why the form is so crazy and why you're so crazy.
What came first? The crazy person or the crazy form? Did the crazy person create the form, or did the crazy form mold a crazy person?
"Alright, do it again," I said, and she quickly nodded before repeating it.
After a few hundred times, Lucy was huffing and puffing as she was now sucking up tons of stamina for one move.
"Did you… Huff… get it?" She asked in between breaths, and with a weary smile, I shook my head from side to side.
"I'm sorry… I know you said it would be harder than normal, but I didn't expect it to be this hard to learn,"
"Well, it would be surprising if a mage got it down in one way, so at least you're not more talented than me," She laughed a bit and then heaved an exhausted sigh.
"I'm going to sleep…."
"Okay, good night," I said, and she stared at me with a confused expression before slipping under her covers.
And just as I was about to replay the formation in my head, I heard Lucy mutter something while she faced the hard stone wall.
"Good night…" She muttered softly but just loud enough for me to hear it.
I smiled warmly before closing my eyes and beginning my image training… I was going to get this down within a week because that is when I'll be discharged.
…
A week has passed… and I'm still struggling greatly to see the shifts in the armor within Lucy's movements.
Also, it seems all this movement wasn't for nothing, as her actual stamina outside the system has grown by quite a lot.
Her movements have also gotten sharper and more precise with each swing,… truly an inspiring moment for me.
Finally, it was time to move out, and as we were both chained and brought in opposite directions, Lucy gave me some encouraging words as I had a match today.
"Good luck," Lucy said as she waved me goodbye.
After preparing all my armor, weapons, and utility made of red ice, I made my way into the colosseum, where I was met with a familiar face.
"Been a while, Cora," He said with a wide smile.
Number six ranked warrior, Warrior of the Colossus, and somebody I had encountered while in the infirmary.
He stormed into my room, and if it wasn't for Lucy being there, he would've probably strangled me to death.
"It's only been a few days," I said to the man who had basic metal armor and a regular metal longsword that exuded so much pressure that it felt as if I was about to fall to my knees.
It was a strange occasion where the item was the entire user, and the user you could say was the item…
That sword granted him immense strength, and even if he's not holding it, that immense strength continues to persist.
Apparently, it's some hero's sword passed down through his family, and to be honest, I believe it…
The announcer did his thing by announcing the both of us, and as the man took a deep stance, I watched his muscles shift from under his armor.
I can… see it? This is so much easier than Lucy's…
As soon as the round started, I knew he was going to blast toward me, so I ducked, placed my hands on the floor, and uppercut him with thousands of red spikes of ice.
"I can see it… All of it,"
