Sleeping early and waking up at 5, I turned off the alarm on my phone.

Splashing water on my face before drying it with a towel, I brushed my teeth and then drank half a litre of water at once. Choosing another pair of light clothes that I can use for a quick run, I stretched for 5 minutes.

Then, eating a banana, I changed into my running shoes, which were also my sports shoes and casual shoes, which I wore yesterday. Taking a piece of boiled meat, I chopped it into small pieces before putting it into a small plastic box that I could carry with me.

"I am going for a run, MOM!!!"

Picking up the clothes from the laundry basket, I walked out of the house and first gave the clothes to the laundry lady. She wasn't very happy that I woke her up so early in the morning, but then, she slowly woke up completely, she asked me if I was going for a morning run.

After a quick chat with her about the benefits of a morning run, I waved at her before moving for my run, which was the exact same distance as last time.

2 miles.

"Here, scratch monster. Eat and evolve into a tiger someday," I spoke as I gave those meat pieces to the kittens and that orange cat. Looking at his expression, I think he blessed me or something.

While I was in the park, I also did a bunch of push-ups, push-ups and squats. I mean, I did say a bunch, but it was barely 7 push-ups, 1 pull-up and 40 squats.

Damn, I am weak right now! I sighed before deciding to finish it with a plank, which I surprisingly lasted for 70 seconds.

"It's going to take some time to get to peak health, I guess," I sighed as I looked at my flat stomach, devoid of any abs right now.

Reaching back home, I saw Mom in the kitchen preparing the morning breakfast.

"Morning, Mom!" I said with a cheerful expression, to which she smiled at me before shaking her head with a slight chuckle. There was a sense of joy around her as she slightly hummed her favourite old song, something she rarely does.

I guess she must be really happy with yesterday's news. I recalled the previous day's conversation where I had talked with her about the recommendation from Silva.

Her reaction? She didn't believe me.

But after I convinced her of it, she began listening to me seriously. And lastly, after I explained the entire thing to her, especially concerning the fact that we might have to move cities if I were to get into the university, she suddenly spoke with a ridiculed tone.

Asking me why I would be worried about something so small as this, she looked at me as if there was something wrong with my head. She then gave me about a dozen reasons I should definitely get into this university, even if it were another country. If the problem was her job, then I need not worry. She was ready to move with me if it were possible. If the situation was unfavourable, even if I were the only one moving, she would always prioritise me over her.

I love you, Mom. But I don't think I am going to stay in the dorm until I make sure you can live in complete comfort without needing to do anything. I thought before sitting at the breakfast table, and then silently had my breakfast with Mom.

We talked about a few mundane things before Mom took a shower, changed into her work clothes and then went out as usual. Meanwhile, I moved into my room, and picking up the charged Headgear, put it on my head.
