Chapter 317: Coming to the Crimson Sun Organization

Once Ren killed Arion, Renald and the others approached him.

"Thank you for saving us." They expressed their gratitude in unison.

Ren didn't say anything, but he gave a light nod and smiled softly.

"Handsome, nice shot!" Diana approached Ren with a cheerful smile, followed by Scarlett.

"You guys are from the Crimson Sun Organization, right? We are planning to visit your place later." Scarlett spoke abruptly.

"Visit our organization?" Damian was startled because he previously thought they were only kind passersby.

"I have something important to deliver to your elders. It's a message from your leader." Ren didn't explain in detail, as they were only ordinary members.

"Then, shall we go together?" Seliora didn't suspect them of having bad intentions because they looked like kind people.

And they had just saved their lives, so it was bad behavior to suspect their saviors.

"Alright." Ren agreed instantly.

Then, they left the forest together.

----

Northwest Region, the Crimson Sun Organization.

The headquarters of the Crimson Sun Organization was located at the foot of a massive mountain.

Even though it was nothing compared to the Blue Moon Organization's base, it was still grand in its own way.

A few tall buildings surrounded the main hall, and four watchtowers stood at each corner.

Not only that, but ten powerful awakeners also guarded the main gate day and night, protecting the base from any enemy.

While the members of the Crimson Sun Organization busied themselves with their own matters, Damian and the others escorted Ren and his women to the main hall.

At the same time, the main hall was filled with heavy tension.

Two elderly figures were standing at the center and yelling at each other.

But none of the people present tried to stop them.

Instead, they stood behind them and showed their support as they were followers of these two elders.

The names of these two elderly figures were none other than Draven Stormrider and Adrian Ravenswood, the first and second elders.

"I disagree!" Adrian roared.

"What do you mean by that? Do you think I'm not qualified to be the leader?" Draven's face was red from anger because Adrian and his supporters kept stopping him from ascending to the position of leader.

"We still don't know if he is dead, like you said, so there is no need to choose a new leader." Adrian would not let Draven's plan succeed because his personality was not suited to ruling them.

"I said he is already dead! We need a new leader as quickly as possible. Do you want our organization to be destroyed?" Draven tried to make Adrian look bad.

"How do you know he is already dead? Wait! Don't tell me. You sent someone to kill him?" Adrian suddenly suspected Draven because his words and behavior were suspicious.

"How dare you slander me!" Draven roared as he released his 5-star aura.

"If you were not the killer, then tell me, how do you know he is already dead?" Adrian was not afraid of Draven, so he also released his 5-star aura.

At this moment, Ren and the others stepped into the main hall. Their hair danced wildly for a moment because the violent clash of auras ripped through the air like a storm.

Renald and the others stopped their footsteps in shock because they didn't expect to be greeted by such a fierce and chaotic scene.

All the elders stopped arguing and turned to them when they noticed them.

"Renald, who are they?" Adrian asked.

"Elder Adrian, they are our saviors." Renald gave a short explanation of what had happened in the forest yesterday afternoon.

"Elders, Ren said he had a message to you from the leader," Seliora added.

Adrian immediately approached Ren. "Young man, where is our leader? Why hasn't he returned yet?"

"He is dead." Ren didn't look sad because he only knew Lucas for ten minutes.

"Dead?" Adrian widened his eyes in shock.

"Young man, is our leader really dead?" Adrian's supporters approached Ren together.

At this moment, Renald and the others turned to Ren.

However, they didn't say anything and only stared at him because they were still in a state of shock.

'Dead? Our leader is dead?'

They knew Ren had come with a message from their leader, but they didn't expect their leader to die.

"Yes," Ren replied.

"I told you he was already dead. Do you finally believe me now?" Draven showed no sign of sadness when he heard the bad news.

"Young man, who killed our leader? And what is his message?" one of the elders asked.

"The killer? I don't know his name," Ren replied calmly. "But your leader called him a traitor. And that traitor was not alone. He had the help of three masked figures. Your leader passed away shortly after I dealt with them."

"A traitor?" Adrian immediately turned to Draven. "Draven, tell me! How do you know our leader is dead? Are you related to that traitor?"

"I told you I didn't kill him! Why do you keep suspecting me?" Draven shouted back.

"Then explain how you know our leader is dead!" Adrian still suspected Draven because he was the first to know the news.

"I have my own intelligence network," Draven refused to explain.

"Young man, what is his message?" one of the elders asked curiously.

Ren retrieved a token of authority from his space ring and showed it to them. "He asked me to take care of the Crimson Sun Organization."

He didn't tell them that Lucas asked him to become their leader because he didn't want to have another organization under his name.

"Give me that token!" Draven rushed toward Ren when he saw the token, but he failed to snatch it because he was not as fast as Ren.

'Damn it!'

He gritted his teeth in annoyance, but he didn't try to snatch it again.

"Young man, please give me the token." Adrian didn't try to snatch it and spoke calmly.

"No! Hand it over to me!" Draven wanted it desperately because having the token of authority would make him their leader right away. "Young man, that is not something an outsider should be holding!"

At this moment, Diana and Scarlett clenched their fists and stared at Draven coldly.

They wanted to beat him to death for treating Ren so badly, but they suppressed their anger because Ren hadn't made his move.

"Hmm? You two seem to be in a bad relationship. I suddenly feel worried about the future of this organization." Ren didn't hand over the token immediately because he wanted to make sure he chose the right person.

While they were fighting over the token in the main hall, outside the Crimson Sun Organization's base, twenty people in green attire approached with smug smiles.

The man leading them had green hair and blue eyes.

His name was Leoric Mossveil.

Leoric was not an ordinary awakener.

He was a figure of status.

He was the sole heir of the Green Flame Organization, a faction on par with the Crimson Sun Organization.

Leoric came to the Crimson Sun Organization's base with bad intentions.

His subordinates got beaten up by members of the Crimson Sun Organization, so he came to take revenge on them.

"Hey, you Crimson Sun bugs! Hand over the person who attacked my subordinates!" Leoric shouted.
