Drawing Cards in the Middle Ages to Rise in Ranks

Chapter 255: King of Volcanoes

Until evening.

At that time.

The surface of the black volcanic rock was already covered with blood-colored patterns, and the air was filled with a bloody smell mixed with sulfur.

"Physical strength is depleted, defense weakened, life absorption, all set up properly."

"Master, if you turn me into an elite, I could transform into a sea of blood and achieve all these effects right now, without the hassle of setting up the magic array again."

Furinjira wiped the black soot off her face; it was really dirty here.

"Even if you transform into an elite, I wouldn't bear letting you turn into a sea of blood to imprison a dragon species with a fire attribute."

Losa's tone carried a hint of affection as he gently tousled Furinjira's white hair.

Then he asked, "Are we all ready?"

"Yes."

Prajna nodded slightly.

The ghost face on the ghost face shield in her hand displayed a dejected and sad expression, feeling it's time to be beaten again.

Sigh.

It sighed lightly.

Life isn't easy, even for ghosts sighing.

Furinjira's skin quickly became covered in blood-colored crystals, like a complete set of armor.

The blood magic power surged, a terrifying magic power of two hundred points was invoked completely, forming a storm of magic around her.

As if anyone who dared to cross the boundary would be torn to pieces.

Chelina placed her hand on her waist, where two longswords were hanging.

She squinted her long lashes slightly, keeping her eyes fixed on the volcano's mouth.

Her entire demeanor was sharp, akin to an ancient knight, with the sword unsheathed, yet already brimming with brilliance.

Jeanne also became serious, this was a fully mature adult giant dragon, and moreover a high-ranking fire dragon; typically, only Tier One followers could compare to it.

"Since everything is ready, let's begin."

Losa straightened up.

His expression gradually turned cold, majestic, his eyes briefly turning golden.

The two vertical pupils no longer showed their usual friendliness.

Chelina vaguely saw a terrifying demon dragon, roaring skyward, slowly appearing behind Losa.

It coiled upon its throne, the crown of bones enveloped in black demon fire, looking down upon all beings from above.

"Is this the master's true form?"

Chelina's furry ears twitched.

Previously felt intimate, now it seemed that her master was clearly a monster disguised in human skin.

They could clearly sense the terrifying Dragon Mighty emanating from Losa, only because they were on the same side, did they not feel the oppressive presence of the "Dark Lord."

At first, there was no movement.

But soon, the volcano's clouds began to churn, thick smoke ascended from the depths of the earth, followed closely by a hoarse dragon roar from beneath the ground.

One, then another.

The sounds were filled with rage and fury.

As if delivering a final expulsion ultimatum to Losa, the uninvited guest.

"Quite the temper after waking up."

Jeanne quipped, gripping the Holy Spear in reverse.

She cut her palm, smeared the blood over the rusted Holy Spear, and as her hand passed over it, the spear became as bright as new.

The Eternal Spear, Gungnir, once held by the Divine King, now revealed its brilliance.

Thump, thump.

Thump, thump.

Sounds like blades slicing into solid stone were heard.

A terrifying beast with dark red scales all over its body, sharp spines along its back, extended two claw-like limbs like blades, piercing the cliff wall, hauling its massive frame up, step by step.

"This doesn't look anything like a Tyrannosaurus."

Losa frowned.

The Tyrannical Dragon was depicted in the encyclopedia to resemble a Tyrannosaurus, with those short legs, how could it grip this steep cliff?

The current Tyrannical Dragon was clearly a hybrid of a Scythe Dragon and Spine-backed Dragon!

Jeanne suggested, "Should we seize the chance to knock it down?"

Losa shook his head and said, "If it falls into the lava, it won't really be hurt much, try to lure it to a wide open space and eliminate it."

No more hindrance.

The Tyrannical Dragon climbed out of the volcano's lip smoothly, its powerful and majestic figure now completely visible to everyone.

Red scale armor.

Its head had crown-like horn protrusions, its face rugged like a skull.

Yet the body was incredibly robust, visibly covered with scale armor concealing bulging muscles brimming with explosive force.

Behind its back were rows of long spines, connected by sharp bone spikes in between flesh.

"Let me test its defense first."

Furinjira took the lead, her terrifying magic formed a series of blood spears hovering in midair.

Invisible blood energy swirled from the ground's demon array, like heavy shackles, entangling the Tyrannical Dragon's limbs.

Roar——

A dragon's roar echoed through the mountains.

Shaking the clouds into turbulence.

Within that roar, Losa distinctly picked up the rage and contempt toward weak insects daring to offend the noble one.

Quickly, the surface split into cracks.

From them, boiling lava erupted, covering each magic symbol painstakingly set by Furinjira over the last three hours.

A flash of fury appeared in Furinjira's eyes, her exquisite canine teeth extended from her lips, and the blood spears behind her sprayed out like torrential pear blossoms.

The blood spears, usually unstoppable in previous uses, hit the Tyrannical Dragon, yet the corrosive blood magic power barely posed any threat.

When the spears finished shooting.

The Tyrannical Dragon's body remained unscathed, only its layer of blood-colored scale armor was covered with soot, losing its luster.
