Chapter 2141: Chapter 2150: Going on a Honeymoon Directly in a Wedding Dress?
So sometimes, emotional intelligence is really important. If you want to achieve your goals, relying solely on force and intelligence won’t cut it.
Olivia Lewis listened to him as if she were hearing a heavenly book. When he finished speaking, she quickly turned her head to look at the proud and discontented man, feeling as if she were dreaming.
"Young Master Lawrence... agrees?"
Isn’t Young Master Lawrence always extremely possessive over Enna Clark? For something like a honeymoon trip, how did he persuade Young Master Lawrence?
It’s too unbelievable!
"Of course Baron agreed. If Baron didn’t agree, how would he have helped me call you out?" Adam Sinclair leisurely responded, wearing a wicked smile on his lips so dark it almost begged for a punch!
Baron Lawrence restrained himself from acting on impulse, moving his gaze away from the smug man to Rupert Harris, who was relatively more pleasant to look at, and said, "Let’s go, get in the car."
If we stay here any longer, be careful that the reporters might find out.
"Okay." Rupert Harris, with a poker face, nodded before turning to Enna Clark, who was still at a loss, and gentlemanly said, "Ms. Clark, please go ahead."
With that, he helped her open the car door.
"We’ll ride together; Adam and the others will take another car." They had already planned this beforehand!
"Get in the car!"
Enna Clark was pulled into the car, still bewildered.
Once inside, she came to her senses, "Baron Lawrence, I’m still wearing my wedding..."
She’s still wearing her wedding dress!
Before she could finish the word ’wedding dress,’ the person beside her commandeered the conversation, "Just pretend you’re wearing a white dress."
"..." Enna Clark was speechless.
A wedding dress is a wedding dress; how can she pretend it’s merely a white dress.
The difference between the two is too vast.
"How about you wait for me while I go up and change clothes," Enna Clark suggested, biting her lip.
She had just finished speaking when her wrist was quickly grabbed, preventing her from making any further moves. "Do you have any clothes in the hotel? If you go and change now, you’d have to have the assistant send over a set of clothes to change into. Otherwise, what will you change into? Into that previous dress!"
Her previous wedding dress was too revealing! It was like a torn rag; she shouldn’t even think about wearing it again!
Blocked by his logic, Enna Clark didn’t know how to respond for a moment, furrowing her brows, "I can’t possibly wear a wedding dress out, can I!"
Baron Lawrence gave her a deep look with his sharp eagle eyes, lips curled in a daring way, "Why not? If you’ve already worn it. What’s so bad about wearing something beautiful?"
"Anyhow, this dress was painstakingly sketched by Gigi and the others. Are you really not going to wear it even once?"
Enna Clark was utterly convinced by his twisted reasoning, her temples throbbing. "That’s not what I mean. I’m saying a wedding dress isn’t suitable for wearing outdoors. It’ll look strange if I wear it out; people will stare."
"Let them look! What’s wrong with people looking at something nice?" he stubbornly said. "I’m also wearing a suit; what’s so strange about it?"
Men’s suits for weddings and women’s wedding dresses aren’t even comparable in terms of concept.
Unless expressly stated, no one can tell that a man’s suit is meant specifically for a wedding.
But a woman’s wedding dress, even if not explicitly stated as such, can be distinguished by almost anyone as different from regular dresses.
Enna Clark still felt awkward about wearing a wedding dress to the airport and was about to argue again.
Seeing Rupert Harris and Emily Goldsmith join them, Baron Lawrence decided on the spot, "Alright, I’ll have them prepare a set of clothes for you to change into once you’re on the plane."
